    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan: (1) identifikasi jenis kompetensi apa saja yang dibutuhkan pada jenis pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs yang ada di industri pada program keahlian ketenagalistrikan, (2) model pembelajaran praktik bagi siswa SMK program keahlian ketenagalistrikan berdasarkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pada jenis pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs, (3) perangkat pembelajaran bagi siswa SMK program keahlian ketenagalistrikan berdasarkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pada jenis pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs, (4) model pembelajaran praktik bagi siswa SMK program keahlian ketenagalistrikan berdasarkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pada jenis pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs yang layak, (5) perangkat pembelajaran bagi siswa SMK program keahlian ketenagalistrikan berdasarkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pada jenis pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs yang layak, dan (6) model dan perangkat pembelajaran bagi siswa SMK program keahlian ketenagalistrikan berdasarkan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pada jenis pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs yang baik berdasarkan tanggapan dan respon dari calon pengguna (guru dan siswa). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model research and development bidang pendidikan dari Plomp. Prosedur dan tahapan yang dilakukan terdiri dari kegiatan pra-pengembangan terdiri dari tahapan (1) investigasi awal, (2) desain, dan (3) realisasi dan (4) kegiatan pengembangan yaitu tes, evaluasi dan revisi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI pada program keahlian ketenagalistrikan bidang keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik, di SMK Negeri 1 Pleret Bantul, dan SMK N 2 Pengasih Kulonprogo. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan angket. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menghasilkan jenis kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pada pekerjaan berorientasi green jobs, (2) Menghasilkan model pembelajaran praktik yang berorientasi green jobs, (3) Menghasilkan produk perangkat pembelajaran jobsheet, (4) Kelayakan model pembelajaran yang dihasilan adalah 94% menurut ahli, dan 95,54% menurut guru yang kesemuannya masuk kategori sangat layak, (5) Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran jobsheet yang dihasilkan adalah 97% untuk ahli media dan 99% media oleh guru, serta ahli materi 86% dan 99,55% metri oleh guru, kesemuanya termasuk kategori sangat layak, dan (6) Respon pengguna terhadap model mendapatkan nilai 92,71% menurut guru dan termasuk kategori sangat baik. Respon terhadap perangkat pembelajaran jobsheet mendapatkan nilai 92,71% dari guru dan 88,99% dari siswa, yang kesemuanya termasuk kategori sangat baik

    This research and development aim to (1) know the development step of Electropneumatic simulation learning media based on Virtual Reality for increasing students’ competence skills in Industrial Automation Engineering; (2) create a proper Electropneumatic simulation learning media based on Virtual Reality for increasing students’ competence skill in Industrial Automation Engineering; (3) analyze the effectiveness level of Electropneumatic simulation learning media based on Virtual Reality for increasing students’ competence skill and response in Industrial Automation Engineering. This research and development used the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The effectiveness level of virtual reality media was analyzed using n-gain data from the pre-test and post-test enhancement score results. The results of this research and development are as follows: (1) the developed virtual reality media worked well after passing the functional test by using the Black Box testing method; (2) the development of the Virtual Reality learning media received an average score of 87.77% from three media experts and an average score of 88.75% from two subject matter experts. Based on these average scores, virtual reality learning media is categorized as “VERY PROPER” and can be used as a learning medium for practicum; (3) the use of Virtual Reality was effective in increasing students’ competence skills and response, based on the hypothesis testing results using a Paired Sample T-test, a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.129 \u3e 0.05.The development research encountered several limitations, such as the high cost of Virtual Reality devices, students’ unfamiliarity with Virtual Reality technology causing discomfort, and the extended time required for students to become proficient in operating Virtual Reality devices

    Community Service Activity (PPM) on training "Power ElectronicsApplications for Induction Motor Settings for vocational teachers in YogyakartaSpecial Region" conducted at the Laboratory of Power Electronics andElectrical Machine Laboratory in the Department of Electrical EngineeringEducation FT UNY. This activity is conducted by the PPM team consisting oflecturers in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education , FT UNY withthe aim of: (1) provide basic knowledge and skills application of power electronics circuits, namely a series of alternating voltage regulator for inductionmotor control; (2) provide knowledge and skills of the induction motor settingsby utilizing one of the instructional media in the form of a variable speed driveunit; (3) do the programming unit of variable speed drives for induction motorsrotation speed controlling; and (4) do the programming variable speed driveunit for braking the motor induction. PPM activities conducted during the three-day meeting with the allocation for 25 hours. The training material covers the theory and practice include:induction motor theory, the theory of series AC drives, AC drive circuit practice, and practice of induction motor control using Altivar 312. This trainingwas attended by 23 people who had a vocational teacher expertise associatedwith this training. Training method used lectures, discussions, question andanswer, demonstration, and practice directly. The achievement of this result can be expressed PPM activities: (1) theparticipants have increased knowledge and skills in power electronics and itsapplications to induction motor settings are indicated by an increase in the valueof the mean pre-test and post-test participants of 48.9 into 76.5; (2 ) of theparticipants felt the benefits of the PPM activity shown from a mean value of 95 96 3.46 questionnaire scores that can be categorized, this activity is very good; and(3) the participants can develop the training materials as a instructional mediafor the control induction motor

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
