The internal thoracic artery (ITA) is increasingly being recognized as the best conduit for replacement of diseased coronary arteries. As the ITA is the main blood supply for the sternum, harvesting this artery causes a drop in blood flow, increasing the risk of failing to heal, and risking deep sternal wound infection. Current methods of harvesting the ITA are time consuming, and due to hidden arteries the manoeuvrability of the surgeon is limited. In this project the goal is to develop a new instrument for branch sealing and dissection, that increases the maneuverability, minimizes damage to surrounding tissue while beingmore time efficient. A systematical selection process resulted in the solutions for some of the sub-functions, whereas two subfunctions required more thorough analysis and evaluation. Concept selection for the sub-function Tip-Articulation a more in-depth analysis and experimental evaluation (n=19). The selection of the sub-function Handle-Mechanism is done by analysis of proven concepts, choices are based on the requirements that resulted from consultation with an experienced surgeon from LUMC, literature study, and supervision of experienced medical instrument engineers. A preliminary headroom analysis is done, resulting in an estimated drop of 64.45%for the duration of sealing and dissecting of branches with a relatively bigger diameter. Further research should specifically be aimed on the further development of the chosen concepts

Ita Khairani (H0203047) mahasiswa Ilmu Tanah Fakultas Pertanian UNS. Pengaruh Kascing dan Pupuk Anorganik Terhadap Ketersediaan Nitrogen pada Alfisols Jumantono dan Serapannya oleh Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays L. Saccharata). Dibawah bimbingan Ir. Sri Hartati, MP.; Hery Widijanto, SP. MP.; Dr. Ir. Widyatmani Sih Dewi, MP. Faktor I terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu: K0 (tanpa kascing), K1 (kascing 1,5 ton/ha), K2 (kascing 3 ton/ha). Faktor II terdiri atas atas 3 taraf yaitu: A0 (tanpa pupuk anorganik), K1 (urea 100 kg/ha, SP 36 50 kg/ha, KCl 25 kg/ha), A2 (urea 200 kg/ha, SP 36 100 kg/ha, KCl 50 kg/ha).

The Role Of Organizational Supporting In Moderating The Whistleblowing Behavior Intention

    No full text
This study aimed to analyze the influence of the attitude toward behaviour and perceived behavioural control on whistleblowing intention, and the role of organizational supporting of employees as moderating variable in the influence of the attitude toward behaviour and perceived behavioural control on whistleblowing intention of employees. This study used primary data from a questionnaire, simple random sampling method and quantitative approach of Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) technique. This study empirically showed that the implementation of the whistleblowing system has not been successful. Based on the three hypotheses proposed, all of them were not proven and accepted. The attitude toward behaviour has no significant effect on whistleblowing intention by the employees. The perceived behavioural control had a significant effect on whistleblowing intention by employees. In other that, the current organizational support of employees can not play a role as moderation influencing attitudes and perceived behavioural control over internal whistleblowing intention. The government needs to create special laws and rules to give enough law protection for the whistleblo¬wer in the public sector

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction and importance among trainees towards distance training and identify the strengths and weaknesses of distance training implementation so that the organizers can maximize the satisfaction of the trainees towards the implementation of distance training. This research used quantitative and qualitative analysis within the framework of Level 1 (Reaction) of the Kirkpatrik Evaluation Model, as well as the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results showed that: (1) the trainees were very satisfied with the implementation of distance training; (2) the implementation of distance training is considered very important to be implemented; (3) Some evaluation indicators have positive gap values, while others have negative gap values, meaning that some evaluation indicators have not met the expectations of stakeholders; and (4) most evaluation indicators are in quadrants A and B, meaning that they either must be prioritized to improve the performance, or maintained because they are already considered good. Therefore, the Financial Education and Training Agency through work units in the region, especially the Makassar branch, needs to improve the performance of distance training implementation, especially in the evaluation items/indicators in quadrant A to increase the satisfaction of participants in the next training sessions
