Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. The study of theory and practice in marketing has explored and provided an operational definition of brand image which is one of the most extensive and intensive constructs. The purpose of this study is to describe the brand image in the study of the philosophy of science. This study will explain the brand image which will be explained from the aspects of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The methodology in this study is to conduct a literature review from empirical sources or previous research. This study produces a conceptual model of age and gender variables that moderate the influence of brand image and brand personality on brand loyalty which affects brand equity.Kajian teori dan praktik dalam pemasaran telah mengeksplorasi dan memberikan definisi operasional mengenai brand image yang merupakan salah satu konstruks yang paling ekstensif dan intensif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan brand image dalam kajian filsafat ilmu. Penelitian ini akan menjelaskan mengenai brand image yang akan dijelaskan dari aspek ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan kajian literatur dari sumber empiris atau penelitian terdahulu. Kajian ini menghasilkan sebuah model konseptual mengenai variabel age dan gender yang memoderasi pengaruh brand image dan brand personality terhadap brand loyalty yang berpengaruh terhadap brand equity

Gender Diversity on the Board of Director and Firm Performance: Agency Theory Perspective
Research aims: This paper provides a literature review on the influence of board of directors' gender diversity on financial and non-financial performance.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research used the content analysis identified from previous studies based on the proxies employed. The article selection process was carried out from reputable international journals published in 2017-2020, resulting in 50 articles discussing board gender diversity and performance.Research findings: This study's results are a conceptual model and future research developments. Research related to female directors and performance has been much carried out. Hence, future research suggests correlating female directors based on monitoring characteristics, human capital board, and demographics. The influence of gender diversity on non-financial performance is also rarely studied.Theoretical contribution/Originality: Identification of gender diversity attributes associated with financial and non-financial performancePractitioner/Policy implication: This study provides valuable information for policymakers or regulators to refine future corporate governance policies and increase understanding of the relationship between corporate governance practices and company performance as measured by financial and non-financial performance.Research limitation/Implication: This study is based on only 50 articles in the last four years
Implikasi Corporate Social Responsibility Dalam Good Corporate Governance Untuk Mengurangi Konflik Keagenan
The purpose of writing this article is to identify, study, map research related to CSR in reducing agency conflict. This article begins with the presentation of the concepts of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), CSR in GCG, and agency conflict. Identification is made by collecting articles in the field of financial management that are related to CSR, agency conflict, and corporate value. Furthermore, an assessment of these studies is carried out to determine the results of each article. Articles are grouped into two articles that support the existence of agency conflict in CSR and group that do not have agency conflict.The method of review of CSR and agency conflict is carried out using previous studies. The identification, assessment and mapping of prior studies are not limited to new studies (less than ten years) but also reviews of more than 20 years. Based on the results of previous research, mapping can be synthesized the influence of CSR in reducing agency conflict.The Implementation of CSR related to agency conflict in the field of financial management is still being debated. Based on empirical evidence, the results are still inconsistent. CSR activities that synergize financial performance, the environment, and society can reduce the use of cash flow that benefits managers so that it will increase the value of the company. On the other hand, empirical evidence that does not support CSR considers that managers use CSR for personal gain.Keywords: GCG, CSR, Agency Conflic

Sejarah konsep konflik berasal dari kontribusi beberapa disiplin ilmu, terutama filsafat dan sosiologi. Bagian selanjutnya dari artikel ini membahas sifat konflik yang berupa konsep definisi, proses, sumber dan jenis konflik.
Antecedents and Consequences of Work Stress Behavior
The purpose of this paper is to obtain a work stress model from scientific literature published from 2017 to 2020, where in one of the years, 2020, there was a covid-19 pandemic which had an impact on work stress. This study uses a literature review on work stress including antecedents, consequences, work stress management and the type of work/profession studied in research on work stress from 2017 to 2020. Based on the results of literature studies, the antecedents that most often appear in research on work stress are role conflict, workload, and leadership, while the consequences that often arise are burnout, job satisfaction/dissatisfaction, and intentions turnover. Work stress management involves individual and organizational levels. While the profession that has been mostly researched on the topic of work stress are paramedics and employees of the banking industry
