COLLABORATIVE-COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE THEOLOGY STUDENTS’ CHARACTERS: IS IT EFECTIVE?
No full textThe Collaborative-Cooperative Learning Model (CCL) helps improve students’ characters. This
study is aimed at finding out the effectiveness of the CCL instructional model in improving the characters
of the theology students in the subject matter class Self Development. This study used a quasi-experimental
research design. The research sample consisted of 58 students of the Surabaya Excelsius Institute of
Theology. Data were collected through a pre-test and post-test for the experiment and control groups and
analyzed using an independent sample t-test on the SPSS software program of Amos 25. The results show
that (1) the CCL model was found to be able to improve students’ characters. Experts’ reviews concluded
that the CCL syntax could be categorized as having innovative aspects based on the rationality model on
the score of 3.29; (2) The CCL model was found to be effective in improving students’ characters by the
Mann-Whitney test (sig. = .012) and the paired sample t-tes (sig. = .000) showed a significant difference
in the mean scores; (3) the CCL model could improve the characters of self-discipline, social discipline,
and religious discipline in the theology students in the subject matter class Self Development and could
be used for subject matter classes with the same characteristics, be followed-up by research in wider
subject-matter contexts, and be integrated with research from other academic fields

No full textBeberapa perusahaan yang mengharuskan pekerja wanita untuk mengundurkan diri dengan sukarela ketika wanita itu hamil dikarenakan wanita hamil dianggap tidak mampu melaksanakan kerjanya secara maksimal sehingga akan mengganggu produktifitas perusahaan. Namun pada kenyataannya di PT. Kahatex Sumedang, hak-hak pekerja perempuan masih diabaikan oleh perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu; Pertama, Perlindungan hukum terhadap hak-hak pekerja perempuan, kedua, Faktor-faktor Kesesuaian pengaturan perlindungan hukum kepada pekerja perempuan hamil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peraturan yuridis mengenai hak-hak dari pekerja wanita yang sedang hamil. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konsep. Perlindungan tenaga kerja wanita yang sedang hamil diatur dalam Keputusan Menteri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Republik Indonesia Nomor: Kep-224/Men/2003 Tentang Kewajiban Pengusaha Yang Mempekerjakan Tenaga Kerja/Buruh Perempuan Antara Pukul 23.00 Sampai Dengan 07.00, Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja Republik Indonesia Nomor: Per-03/MEN/1989 Tentang Larangan Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) Pekerja Wanita Karena Menikah, Hamil dan Melahirkan, Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan.
Tinjauan Pustaka merupakan dasar bagi penulis untuk menjawab permasalahan. Tinjauan pustaka yang ada dalam skripsi ini meliputi : yang pertama yaitu pengertian perlindungan hukum, macam-macam perlindungan hukum, tujuan perlindungan hukum, kedua membahas mengenai hak-hak normatif pekerja, kewajiban pengusaha, jenis-jenis pekerja, pengertian hubungan kerja, dan ketiga unsur-unsur hubungan kerja
Hasil penelitian Perlindungan Hukum bagi pekerja perempuan hamil dari pada Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan. Pertama lebih detail hak tersebut mencakup perlindungan hukum kepada pekerja perempuan hamil yaitu, Perlindungan jam kerja, Perlindungan cuti hamil dan melahirkan, Perlindungan Kesehatan Dan Keselamatan Kerja perempuan (K3), dan larangan PHK terhadap pekerja perempuan dengan alasan menikah, hamil, atau melahirkan. Kedua kesesuaian pengaturan kepada pekerja perempuan hamil telah sesuai dengan denagn Peraturan Undang Undang No.13 Tahun 2003 dan Konvensi ILO No.182 Tahun 2000 yang menjelaskan perempuan hamil harus mendapatkan perlindungannya seperti perlindungan kehamilan, perlindungan anti diskriminasi, dan perlindungan jam kerja yang harus dilaksanakan oleh perusahaan yang mempekerjakan perempuan hamil
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text linkLatar belakang penelitian ini adalah ketertarikan peneliti untuk mendeskripsikan konsep dan bentuk visual yang terdapat pada karya lukis Ivan Harianto di samping sosoknya yang merupakan seorang seniman yang cukup senior dari Surabaya dan sudah banyak dikenal dalam dunia seni rupa di Indonesia. Peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti karya-karya seni Ivan Harianto yang memadukan teknik seni lukis yang berbasis forografi dari unsur konsep dan bentuk sehingga melahirkan sebuah karya yang sarat symbol-simbol globalisasi dan konsumerisme yang sangat sarat di dalamnya sebagaimana yang dapat dilihat pada karya-karyanya yang dipamerkan pada pameran “City Without People” di Galeri Syang Art Space Magelang tahun 2010.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif ,dengan menguraikan dan menggambarkan aspek yang diteliti.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah konsep seni lukis yang diusung oleh Ivan Harianto dalam lukisannya di pameran City Without People sebenarnya merupakan konsep yang merefleksikan kota tanpa manusia,sedangkan bentuk lukisannya bersifat realis fotografis, mengikuti makna simbolik dan bersifat realistis dan minimalis yang berarti bahwa lukisan-lukisan Ivan menyerupai bentuk aslinya dan minimalis berarti bahwa tidak banyak Perubahan yang dilakukan terhadap obyek lukisan sehingga sebagian besar bentuk dari obyek yang asli masih terlihat dengan jelas.

Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
