Bu kapsamda yapılan görüşmelerin sayısı 46'dır.27 Mayıs 1963 tarihinde doğan Halit Coşkun, 35 seneyi aşkın bir süredir Kartal’da yaşadığını söyledikten sonra Kartalspor’un kuruluşu ile ilgili bilgiler vermektedir. Kartalspor Kulüp Müdürlüğü görevini de yürüten Coşkun, birçok branşta takımları olduğunu ifade eder. Experimental and Stochastic Reactor Modeling Results of an HCCI Engine Fueled with Primary Reference Fuel
In recent years, much research has been performed in order to decrease fuel consumption, noise, and exhaust emission levels in internal combustion engines. In this study, the effects of excess air coefficient on performance and exhaust emissions (CO, CO2) of an HCCI engine fueled with primary reference fuel (PRF) were investigated for different intake air pressure and temperature values. The simulation studies were performed by using SRM Suite software. The chemical kinetic mechanism, which contains 138 species and 633 reactions that are embedded into the program, was used to simulate the combustion of the PRF fuel during the combustion simulations. The analysis covers the full cycle and provides data about induction, compression, combustion, expansion, and exhaust. The exhaust emissions, cylinder pressure, and heat release rate results were compared with the experimental data. The zero-dimensional software (SRM Suite) gives quite reasonable results compared with the experimental data, and it has advantages such as the shorter solution time and the unlimited chemical kinetic mechanism compared with the three-dimensional combustion simulation software

Approach for siting a support facility for transporting supplies in emergency cases in the Republic of Bulgaria
In this paper, the author determines the most suitable transportation location for intervention in a large scale disaster in the Republic of Bulgaria, by means of the Weber Problem and the Weiszfeld method. The objective is to minimise the cost of transporting emergency supplies across the country by locating a support facility, and thus reaching the area of event at the lowest possible cost. A brief description of the Weiszfeld method is provided in the paper. Further, using recent population data of both provinces and municipalities, the method is applied respectively to obtain the results. They were compared in terms of spatial correspondence and the final facility location was fixed. Erecting the supply site is recommended to help decrease the losses
Effect of GST omega 1 and omega 2 gene polymorphism on blood metal levels in thalassemia patients
Bu çalışma ile organizmada metal homeostazının önemli ölçüde değiştiği bir hastalık olan talasemide, demir toksikokinetiğinde rol olduğu düşünülen GSOT1 (rs4925 C/A) ve GSOT2 (rs156697 A/G) gen polimorfizmlerinin kan demir ve kurşun düzeylerine olan etkisinin aydınlatılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmamızda talasemi dışında başka bir hematolojik hastalığı ve metal maruziyeti olmayan, en az bir yıldır eritrosit süspansiyonu transfüzyonu yapılmakta olan 100 hasta bireyden elde edilen kan örnekleri kullanılmıştır. Kan örneklerinde demir iz elementi konsantrasyonları Alevli Atomik Absorpsiyon Spektrometre (Varian AA240FS) cihazı ile, kurşun konsantrasyonları ise Grafit Fırın Atomik Absorpsiyon Spektrometresi (Varian AA240Z) ile belirlenmiştir. Genetik araştırmalar için izole edilen DNA'larda GSOT1 C/A (rs4925) tek nükleotid polimorfizmini belirlemek amacıyla Alel Spesifik Oligonükleotid- Polimeraz Zincir Reaksiyonu (ASO-PCR) yöntemi, GSOT2 A/G (rs156697) tek nükleotid polimorfizmini belirlemek amacıyla Polimeraz Zincir Reaksiyonu-Restriksiyon Fragman Uzunluk Polimorfizmi (PCR-RFLP) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda talasemili hastalarda GSOT1 ve GOST2 gen polimorfizmlerinin kan demir ve kurşun düzeylerine etkisi istatistiksel olarak değerlendirildiğinde, GSOT1 gen polimorfizmi genotip frekansları; %51 yabanıl tip (CC), %40 heterozigot (CA), %9 mutant tip (AA) olarak belirlenmiştir. Demir düzeyi AA genotipine sahip bireylerde (286,08±33,95mg/L), CA (295,76±68,45mg/L) ve CC genotipli bireylere (291,27±51,38 mg/L) göre daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir ancak bu sonuç istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir (p>0,05). Çalışmamızda demir ve kurşun arasında negatif bir korelasyon gözlemlenmiştir ancak bu sonuç istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir (p>0,05). GSOT2 gen polimorfizmi genotip frekansları; %42 yabanıl tip (AA), %45 heterozigot (GA) ve %13 mutant tip (GG) olarak belirlenmiştir. Demir düzeyi AA genotipine sahip bireylerde (283,59±59,69 mg/L) AG (302,14 ±58,69 mg/L ) ve GG genotipli bireylere (288,65 ±40,29 mg/L ) göre daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir ancak bu sonuç istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir (p>0,05). Çalışmamızda demir ve kurşun arasında negatif bir korelasyon gözlemlenmiştir ancak bu sonuç istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir (p>0,05). Anahtar Kelimeler: Gen polimorfizmi GSOT-1, GSOT-2, Metal, Talasemi.The aim of this study was to clarify the effect of GSTO1 (rs4925 C / A) and GSTO2 (rs156697 A / G), thought to be involved in iron toxicokinetics, gene polymorphisms on blood iron and lead levels in thalassemia, a disease in which metal homeostasis in the organism is significantly altered. In our study, blood samples obtained from 100 patients who had undergone erythrocyte suspension transfusion for at least one year without any hematological disease and metal exposure other than thalassemia were used. Iron trace element concentrations in blood samples were determined by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (Varian AA240FS) and lead concentrations were determined by Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (Varian AA240Z). DNAs isolated for genetic research; Allele Specific Oligonucleotide-Polymerase Chain Reaction (ASO-PCR) method to determine single nucleotide polymorphism for GSTO1 C / A (rs4925), and Polymerase Chain Reaction-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method for GSTO2 A / G (rs156697) was used. As a result of this study, when the effect of GSTO1 and GSTO2 gene polymorphisms on blood iron and lead levels in thalassemia patients were statistically evaluated, GSTO1 gene polymorphism genotype frequencies were identified as; 51% wild type (CC), 40% heterozygous type (CA), 9% mutant type (AA). Iron levels were lower in individuals with AA genotype (286.08 ± 33.95mg / L) than CA (295.76 ± 68.45mg / L) and CC genotype (291.27 ± 51.38 mg / L). However, this result was not statistically significant (p> 0.05). In our study, a negative correlation was observed between iron and lead levels, but this result was not statistically significant (p> 0.05). GSTO2 gene polymorphism genotype frequencies were identified as; 42% wild type (AA), 45% heterozygous type (GA) and 13% mutant type (GG). Myelitis after liver transplant: A case report
We report a case of neurotoxicity as a side effect of a calcineurin inhibitor (tacrolimus), which is used as an immunosuppressive drug after liver transplant. Our patient had chronic hepatic failure due to Budd-Chiari syndrome and underwent a liver transplant after an appropriate deceased donor organ was obtained. After organ transplant surgery, he was kept under the effect of an immunosuppressive drug (tacrolimus) with daily control of the level of drug in his blood to avoid drug toxicity. Despite the level of drug in his blood being within the ideal range, the patient developed neurotoxicity that presented as weakness of his extremities. Appropriate diagnostic tests were done, and all proved that these signs and symptoms were related to the use of tacrolimus. Therefore, the drug was changed to cyclosporine. After a few months, the patient regained normal neurological functions of his extremities. We should take precautions to monitor neurological symptoms and signs while we administer calcineurin inhibitors
Bibliometric analysis of the results of Reiki research
Introduction: This study analyses bibliometric indicators to assess global research trends on Reiki, including publication patterns and key contributing countries. Methods: The publications included in Web of Science (WOS) databases between 1970 and 2024 were reviewed. The WOS database was searched using TS= “REIKI” and all WOS indexes were included. This search identified 414 studies. Among them, letters (n = 7), editorial materials (n = 19), book reviews (n = 9), corrections (n = 2), art and poetry (n = 1), news (n = 1), and retracted publications (n = 1) were removed. The remaining 374 articles were included in this bibliometric analysis. The R-package for bibliometric analysis (Bibliometrix) was used. Results: The bibliometric analysis found that researchers published Reiki-related studies between 1983 and 2024, with a publication growth rate of 4.47 %. On average, articles were 9.5 years old and received 13 citations per document. The total number of keywords identified by the authors was 553, the number of authors in the articles was 1124 authors, the number of single-author articles was 70, the average number of publications per author was 3.5, and international co-authorships were 7.219 %. The USA, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Turkiye were the top five countries that published on Reiki, respectively. The USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Turkiye were the top five countries with the most cited articles, respectively. Vitale A. is the most cited author. Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine is the most cited journal. Conclusion: This study is the first of its kind to evaluate the articles written by researchers in the field of Reiki only. Despite the difficulties researchers experienced in the field of Reiki, the studies have increasingly been conducted in this field over the years and have been cited studies more. This study may be helpful for researchers to determine productive countries, journals, authors, and emerging trends in Reiki by providing comprehensive analyses and structured information on this subject. © 202
Determination of movement, adhesion and survival rate ofzebra mussel (Dreissena polymorpha) on iron, chrome, galvanized,aluminum, copper, zinc and copper alloy surfaces
Bu çalışmada, 28 gün boyunca zebra midyelerinin (Dreissena polymorpha) sekiz farklı alt tabakada (cam, alüminyum, krom, demir, galvanizli demir, bakır, çinko, bakır alaşım) tutunma gücü, hayatta kalma oranı ve yer değiştirmesi ölçülmüştür. 7 farklı deneme grubu ve 1 adet kontrol grubu oluşturulmuştur. Her bir deneme grubuna 3 tekrarlı çalışma yapılarak 15x25 cm ebatlarında alüminyum (Al), galvanizli demir (gal-Fe), demir (Fe), krom (Cr), bakır (Cu), çinko (Zn), bakır alaşım (%60 bakır, %40 çinko) plakalar deney amaçlı kullanılmıştır. Bu deney materyallerinin her biri için toplam 6 plaka kullanılmıştır. Her deney materyali için bu 6 plaka ikişer olarak 3 akvaryuma dağıtılmıştır. Bu çalışmada 7 farklı deneme grubuna ait 21 akvaryum, kontrol grubuna ait 3 akvaryum ve 1 stoklama akvaryumu olmak üzere toplam 25 akvaryum ile 2400 adet zebra midyesi deney amaçlı, 600 adet stok amaçlı toplam 3000 adet zebra midyesi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, Cu, Zn ve Cu-alaşım yüzeylerin zebra midyelerin yaşamı için elverişli olmadığı ve bu materyallerde zebra midyelerin yüzeye tutunma gücünün diğer test edilen materyallere göre daha az olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Zebra midye ile mücadele kapsamında yapı malzemesi olarak Cu, Zn ve Cu-alaşımından yapılan materyaller kullanılabilir.In this study, adhesion strength, survival rate and displacement of zebra mussels (Dreissena polymorpha) on eight different substrates (glass, aluminum, chrome, iron, galvanized iron, copper, zinc, copper alloy) over 28 days were measured. 7 different experimental groups and 1 control group were formed. Three repetitions were made for each experimental group and aluminum (Al), galvanized (gal-Fe), iron (Fe), chrome (Cr), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), copper alloy (%60 copper, %40 zinc) in 15x25 cm dimensions. 40 zinc) plates were used for experimental purposes. A total of 6 plates were used for each of these test materials. These 6 plates for each experimental material were distributed in duplicate to 3 aquariums. In this study, a total of 25 aquariums, 21 aquariums belonging to 7 different experimental groups, 3 aquariums and 1 stocking aquarium belonging to the control group, and 2400 for experimental purposes and 600 for stock purposes, a total of 3000 zebra mussels were used. As a result, it has been revealed that Cu, Zn and Cu-alloy surfaces are not suitable for the life of zebra mussels and the adhesion power of zebra mussels to the surface in these materials is less than the other tested materials. Materials made of Cu, Zn and Cu-alloys can be used as building materials within the scope of combating zebra mussels
