Is money neutral in stock market? The case of Malaysia
Get PDFThe objective of this study is to examine whether the notion of monetary neutrality holds in Malaysian stock market. Our findings indicate that there is considerable evidence against the long-run neutrality (LRN) of money in Malaysian stock market. The important implication is that the stock market is inefficient with respect to money supply. Agents might have the opportunity to gain excess profit from the stock market using the information on changes in the stock of money to predict the movements in stock indexes.Monetary neutrality, stock market, Malaysia, ARIMA model

Penyutradaran monolog dengan seorang aktor lebih menitik beratkan pada kualitas aktor. Aktor yang dipilih harus cerdas dikarenakan satu aktor yang nantinya terlihat berhasil atau tidak menyampaikan konsep sutradara agar nampak menarik, memiliki isi, dan tidak menjenuhkan. Konsep sutradara hanya sebagai acuan, untuk pengembangan aktor yang berperan penting di atas panggung.
Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah Bagaimana Bagaimana Menyutradarai Lakon “Sebelum Sarapan” Karya Eugene O’Neill diterjemahkan Wiwit Anggraini di sutradarai Ilham Habibullah dengan aktor Endah W? . Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi kepustakaan, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan.
Monolog “Sebelum Sarapan” merupakan naskah monolog karya Eugene O’Neil yang diterjemahkan Wiwit Anggraini di sutradarai Ilham Habibullah dengan aktor Endah W munggunakan konsepsi aliran realis. Menceritakan ungkapan hati seorang istri yang selama ini dirasakan atas ketidak bahagiaan yang didapatkan, ketidak harmonisan sebuah keluarga. Sutradara menggunakan teknik penyutradaraan monolog yang mengacu pada teknik penyutradaraan dan pola pelatihan Suyatna Anirun dikarenakan lebih terperinci dari sistem produksi hingga sistem pelatihan aktornya. Bentuk pertunjukan realis sangat menarik untuk diterapkan pada naskah monolog ini karena penggambaran suasana, tempat dan waktupun pada naskah akan tampak jelas sesuai realita.

AGRI-SLAM: a real-time stereo visual SLAM for agricultural environment
Get PDFIn this research, we proposed a stereo visual simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM) system that efficiently works in agricultural scenarios without compromising the performance and accuracy in contrast to the other state-of-the-art methods. The proposed system is equipped with an image enhancement technique for the ORB point and LSD line features recovery, which enables it to work in broader scenarios and gives extensive spatial information from the low-light and hazy agricultural environment. Firstly, the method has been tested on the standard dataset, i.e., KITTI and EuRoC, to validate the localisation accuracy by comparing it with the other state-of-the-art methods, namely VINS-SLAM, PL-SLAM, and ORB-SLAM2. The experimental results evidence that the proposed method obtains superior localisation and mapping accuracy than the other visual SLAM methods. Secondly, the proposed method is tested on the ROSARIO dataset, our low-light agricultural dataset, and O-HAZE dataset to validate the performance in agricultural environments. Removal of wastewater and polymer derived N-nitrosodimethylamine precursors with integrated use of chlorine and chlorine dioxide
No full textIn this study, the effects of five different pre-oxidation scenarios (i.e., individual, simultaneous, and sequential applications of chlorine dioxide [ClO2] and chlorine [Cl-2]) on the removal of N-nitro-sodimethylamine (NDMA) formation potential (FP) from different water matrices (i.e., non-impacted natural waters, wastewater [WW]-impacted, and polymer-impacted waters) with subsequent chloramination were investigated. Practically relevant doses of ClO2 and Cl-2 were applied for all scenarios to avoid the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs) at regulatory levels. The removal efficiency of NDMA FP for all the oxidation scenarios (individual or simultaneous) was <20% in non-impacted natural water samples. In 20% WW-impacted waters, pre-oxidation with ClO2 at pH 7.8 resulted in a significant reduction in NDMA FP (56-73%), whereas pre-oxidation with Cl-2 showed less removals (40-50%). For the integrated oxidation scenarios (i.e., simultaneous or sequential application), NDMA FP removals further increased (20-45%), especially, at pH 6.0 compared to individual application of oxidants in WW -impacted waters. The formation of NDMA in pre-oxidized water samples also decreased significantly under uniform formation condition (UFC). In polymer-impacted waters, integrated applications of Cl-2 and ClO2 significantly improved the deactivation of polymer-derived NDMA precursors independent of oxidation time (10 vs. 60 min) and pH (6.0 vs. 7.8) compared to individual application of these oxidants. In addition, chlorite (ClO2-) formation was low and maintained well below 1 mg/L for integrated applications of Cl-2 and ClO2, while chlorate (ClO3-) formation increased significantly as compared to application of ClO2 only.
