ELLY HANDAYANI. Penerapan Pendekatan PAIKEM Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Di SMP Negeri 2 Mallusetasi Kabupaten Barru Tahun 2014. (Dibimbing oleh Maddatuang dan Nasiah Badwi).
Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan pendekatan PAIKEM pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif persentase dan analisis inferensial non parametrik dengan uji beda wilcoxon menggunakan program SPSS 21.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah terdapat perbedaan, baik untuk motivasi maupun hasil belajar siswa, sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pendekatan PAIKEM pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan, baik untuk siklus pertama maupun untuk siklus kedua. Pada Siklus I sebelum diterapkan pendekatan PAIKEM hasil tes motivasi belajar siswa yaitu 65 persen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dan selebihnya berada pada kategori cukup dan tinggi. Pada siklus II nilai motivasi belajar yaitu 95 persen siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dan selebihnya berada pada kategori tinggi. Sama halnya dengan motivasi belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan, hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yang cukup baik. Dimana nilai hasil belajar siswa untuk Siklus I yaitu 50 persen siswa berada pada kriteria tinggi dan 50 persen siswa yang berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Selanjutnya pada Siklus II nilai hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 30 persen siswa berada pada kriteria tinggi dan 70 persen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi.
Berdasarkan uraian dari hasil penelitian di atas, yang menyatakan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan pendekatan PAIKEM, maka penulis memberikan saran agar kiranya pendekatan PAIKEM ini dapat diterapkan untuk mata pelajaran lain bukan hanya untuk mata pelajaran IPS saja. Agar kiranya siswa lebih termotivasi lagi untuk belajar lebih giat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, psikomotorik dan afektif siswa itu sendiri seperti yang diharapkan bersama.

ELLY HANDAYANI. 2014. The Implementation Of PAIKEM Approach In Improving Student’s Motivation of Social Subject at SMP Negeri 2 Mallusetasi in Barru District. (Supervised by Maddatuang and Nasiah Badwi).
The study is a Classroom Action Research which aims at examining the difference of motivation and students’ learning result before and after implementing PAIKEM aproach in learning activities. The data of the study were collected through observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Data werw analyzed by employing statistic descriptive percentage analysis and inferential non-parametric analysis with test of difference by Wilcoxon which used SPSS 21 program.
The results reveals that there are difference, both the motivation and students’ learning result, before and after the implementation of PAIKEM approach in learning activities, proved by significant improvement of motivation and students’ learning result in both sycle, cycle I and cycle II. At cycle I before PAIKEM is implemented, the students’ learning motivation is 65 percent in category of extremely high and the rest in fair and high categories. At cycle II, students’ learning motivation is 95 percent in the category of extremely high and the rest in high category. Similarly, the students’ learning result is also improve fairly well that at cycle I 50 percent of students is in the be category of high and 50 percent is in extremely high category. At cycle II, students’ learning result improves to 30 percent which is in high category and 70 percent is in extremely high category.
Based on the results of the study, the researcher proposes suggestions that PAIKEM approach should be implemented to other subjects not only to social subject and students should get motivated to learn more in order to improve their cognitive, psychomotor, and affective competence
ELLY KASIM : PERAN DAN EKSISTENSINYA SEBAGAI PENYANYI DENDANG MINANG DI INDONESIA (TAHUN 1960 – 2017)
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan dan eksistensi dari Elly Kasim sebagai penyanyi dendang Minang, terutama dalam kurun waktu dari 1960 hingga tahun 2017 di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis dalam bentuk deskriptif naratif dengan menggunakan sumber berupa sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Sumber primer yang penulis gunakan yaitu sumber lisan, melalui wawancara penulis dengan putri dari Elly Kasim yaitu Risalina Mustika dan juga melalui lagu-lagu Elly Kasim. Sementara pada sumber sekunder, berupa studi pustaka yang berasal dari buku biografi yang dibuat oleh suami dari Elly Kasim yaitu Nazir Basir dengan judul Elly Kasim Tentang Elly Kasim : Seperti yang Dituturkan Kepada Suaminya terbitan dari Quensha (2014) dan juga jurnal-jurnal serta disertasi terkait, diantaranya yaitu disertasi yang disusun oleh Suryadi, “The Recording Industry and „Regional‟ Culture in Indonesia : The Case of Minangkabau”. Temuan dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peranan yang dilakukan oleh Elly Kasim sebagai penyanyi dendang Minang dalam mempopulerkan serta mengenalkan kebudayaan Minang melalui album dan lagu yang pernah dirilisnya dan tak sedikit dari karya beliau yang kemudian menjadi hits dan masih diminati hingga saat ini. Hal ini juga menjawab keterkaitannya dengan upaya yang dilakukan oleh Elly Kasim dalam mempertahankan eksistensinya sebagai penyanyi dendang Minang di Indonesia. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, penulis juga melihat belum ada peneliti yang memfokuskan hanya mengangkat topik Elly Kasim dan peranan serta eksistensinya sebagai penyanyi dendang Minang. Besar harapan, melalui penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai peranan serta eksistensi Elly Kasim sebagai penyanyi dendang Minang di Indonesia. Terlebih, dapat dijadikan sebagai motivasi dalam memperjuangkan cita. Serta untuk penulis pribadi dapat mengantarkan penulis untuk menyelesaikan Pendidikan Strata-1 Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.
This research aims to describe the role and existence of Elly Kasim as a
Minangkabau traditional singer, particularly from 1960 to 2017 in Indonesia. This
study employs a historical method in the form of descriptive narrative, utilizing
primary and secondary sources. The primary sources used by the author are oral
sources, obtained through interviews with Elly Kasim's daughter, Risalina
Mustika, and also through Elly Kasim's songs. As for the secondary sources, they
include literature reviews from a biography book created by Elly Kasim's
husband, Nazir Basir, titled "Elly Kasim Tentang Elly Kasim: Seperti yang
Dituturkan Kepada Suaminya" published by Quensha (2014), as well as related
journals and dissertations, such as Suryadi's dissertation "The Recording Industry
and 'Regional' Culture in Indonesia: The Case of Minangkabau.". The findings of
this research indicate the significant role played by Elly Kasim as a Minangkabau
traditional singer in popularizing and introducing Minangkabau culture through
her albums and released songs, many of which have become hits and are still
appreciated to this day. This also addresses her efforts in maintaining her
existence as a Minangkabau traditional singer in Indonesia. Based on previous
research, the author notes the absence of researchers who have focused solely on
the topic of Elly Kasim and her role and existence as a Minangkabau traditional
singer. It is hoped that this research will provide an overview of Elly Kasim's role
and existence as a Minangkabau traditional singer in Indonesia. Moreover, it can
serve as motivation to strive for one's aspirations. Additionally, for the author
personally, this research can help in completing a Bachelor's degree in History
Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (i) adanya hubungan antara CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) berbasis multi intelegensi dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu SMP Negeri 7 Parepare. (ii) Tingkat hubungan antara CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) berbasis multi intelegensi dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu SMP Negeri 7 Parepare.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi yang dimaksudkan untuk menguji kebenaran teori dengan observasi langsung di lapangan serta menjelaskan hasil penelitian sebagaimana yang terjadi di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan statistik inferensial yaitu uji normalitasi, uji hipotesis dan analisis koefisien korelasi
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) ada hubungan antara CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) berbasis multi intelegensi dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu SMP Negeri 7 Parepare. (ii) dan Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) berbasis multi intelegensi mempunyai hubungan atau korelasi yang kuat dan positif terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa SMP Negeri 7 Parepare.

ANDI WARLIYATI. 2014. The correlation between Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based on Multiple Intelligence with Cognitive Ability of Students in Integrated Social Science in SMP Negeri 7 Parepare (supervised by Fachri Kahar and Muhammad Azis).
The aims of this research is to examine (i) the correlation between Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based on iultiple Intelligence with cognitive ability of the students in integrated social science in SMP Negeri 7 Parepare, (ii) the level of correlation between CTL based in multiple intelligence with the cognitive ability of the students in integrated social science in SMP Negeri 7 Parepare.
This research uses quantitative approach with correlation type research which aims to test the correctness/truth of the theory and the direct observation in the field and also to explain the result of the research as it happens in the field. The technique of collecting data is conducted through observation, questionnaire and documentation. The technique of analyzing data employs qualitative technique with statistic inferensial approach, namely test of normalization, test of hypothesis, and coefficient and correlation analysis.
The results of the research showed that (i) there is correlation between CTL based on multiple intelligence with the cognitive ability of the students in integrated social science in SMP Negeri 7 Parepare (ii) teaching process with CTL based on multiple intelligence approach had a positive and strong correlation with the cognitive ability of the students in integrated social science in SMP Negeri 7 Parepare

No full textAbstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of organisational culture on employee performance at Oshana Regional Council (ORC), Namibia. Mixed research methods were used to collect, analyse and interpret data from respondents and key informants. Participants of the study consisted of 103 employees of Oshana Regional Council. Questionnaires and face to face interviews were used to collect quantitative and qualitative data respectively. The Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25 was used to compute the quantitative data while descriptive and inferential statistics were applied to better understand its meaning. To examine the association between employee performance and organisational culture at Oshana RC, methodological triangulation was utilized to strengthen the credibility and validity of the findings. The study found that a Hierarchical Culture is the dominant culture at Oshana Regional Council. It was the finding of this study that the Hierarchical Culture is relatively weak and ineffective in driving employee performance. It was also established that employee performance is positively influenced by organisational culture. The study concluded that a strong organisational culture can provide a number of benefits including organisational unity of purpose, behaviour control and it improves employee commitment. The study recommended that ORC managers should use leadership styles that are most suited to their situation in order to achieve high productivity and should periodically conduct cultural audits.
