esposto al Castello Reale di Varsavia, è raffigurato, secondo un’interpretazione corrente, lo
studio di re Ladislao IV di Polonia con una serie di oggetti d’arte, tra cui un frammento di scena
in grisaille raffigurante un tempio. Si avanza, tra l’altro, l’ipotesi che possa trattarsi del tempio
incluso nell’apparato scenico ideato da Giulio Parigi per l’opera in musica La regina Sant’Orsola
rappresentata a Firenze nel 1625 all’epoca del viaggio in Italia dello stesso Ladislao. Il quadro di
Varsavia assume così anche il significato antropologico di una sofisticata autorappresentazione
simbolica degli ampi orizzonti intellettuali e artistici del sovrano

No full textLo studio prende in esame i festival di chitarra acustica che stanno consolidando o hanno consolidato la propria presenza prevalentemente in Italia, al fine di valutarne la capacità attrattiva e di definirne la tipologia di turismo generato. Attraverso un’analisi quali-quantitativa si sono identificati i denominatori comuni di tali festival focalizzandosi in particolare sul legame emotivo/relazionale col territorio e il luogo: parti integranti distintive dell’evento e complementi dell’esperienza musicale stessa.The study examines the acoustic guitar festivals that are consolidating or have consolidated their presence mainly in Italy. It intends to evaluate their attractiveness and to define the type of tourism generated. Through a qualitative-quantitative analysis the common denominators of these festivals have been identified, focusing in particular on the emotional/relational link with the territory and place: a distinctive integrated part of the event and a complement to the musical experience itself

La prima è incentrata sulla tensione odeporica che attraversa la sua vita e quindi sulle traiettorie spaziali dei suoi numerosi viaggi compiuti in Europa; la seconda sul rapporto tra Mozart e i luoghi considerati come campi d’azione e contesti di attivazione-cessazione di relazioni; la terza indaga in una prospettiva culturale la presenza di determinate immagini del mondo (identità, appartenenze, stereotipi razziali e di genere ecc.) all’interno delle sue opere.This paper presents in a geographical key three possible readings of the life and work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The first is focused on the odeporic impulse that runs through his life and therefore on spatial trajectories of his many travels to Europe; the second is focused on the connection between Mozart and places considered as fields of action and contexts of activation-cessation of relationships; the third investigates the construction of world images (identity, racial and gender stereotypes, etc.) inside his works in a cultural perspective

Il contributo ricostruisce la programmazione del Festival Internazionale di Musica Contemporanea nella rinascita post-bellica (1946-51), di riferimento per le successive edizioni della sezione Musica.The organizational model of the Venice Biennale, today a global brand in the art world, was set up in the late 19th century and consolidated in the 20th century. It was guided by strategy that sought to convey to the increasing flow of tourists in modern society new forms and enhanced presentations of contemporary art. The paper reconstructs the planning of the post-war relaunch of the International Festival of Contemporary Music (1946-51), which is of relevance to subsequent editions of the Music section
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
