The Biblical motifs in Hans Christian Andersen\u27s fairy tales
V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali biblijske motive v pravljicah Hansa Christiana Andersena. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili pravljico in književni motiv, predstavili življenje in delo H. C. Andersena, zgodovino prevajanja njegovih pravljic v slovenščino in dve knjigi njegovih pravljic. In this thesis, we deal with biblical motifs in the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen. In the theoretical part, we have identified a fairy tale and literary motif, presented the life and work of H. C. Andersen, the history of the translation of his fairy tales in Slovenian and two books of his fairytales. We describe the basic features of the Bible and its influence on literature. Through the Curriculum for Slovenian and reading books for primary school we checked to Andersen\u27s fairy tales and biblical passages that are learned by students. We present the mission of the Centre of Hans Christian Andersen in Denmark and the results of their research on the emergence of religious motifs in Andersen\u27s fairy tales. In the empirical part, we used quantitative and qualitative content analysis of texts. We wanted to find out which Biblical motifs can be traced in the fifties Andersenih fairy tales collected in books Tales and Fairy 2, which biblical motifs occur most frequently in Andersen\u27s fairy tales and which fairy tales contain the most various biblical motifs. In the analysis of ten of the most common biblical motifs we seek explanations from the Dictionary of the Slovenian language and quotes from the Bible. We also seek quotes from ten Andersen fairy tales with a maximum different of biblical motifs and his autobiography The Story of my life in places, where these motifs appear. We wanted to know, if there is any link between the occurrence of the ten most common biblical motifs in Andersen\u27s fairy tales and his religious feelings, which are described in his autobiography. We found that in 48 % of Andersen\u27s fairy tales in our sample, appeares at least one of 34 different biblical motifs. Fairy tales from several different biblical motifs are: The Girl Who Trod on the Loaf with 14 different biblical motifs, The Red Shoes with 11 different motifs and biblical The Snow Queen with 10 different biblical motifs. The most common biblical motif that we have seen are: the motif of Prayer, which appears in 11 different Andersen\u27s fairy tales, the motive of God which appears in 10 different motif and the motif of Hymn, psalm which appears in 10 different Andersen\u27s fairy tales too.
Glavni cilj moje diplomske naloge je najti razlike in podobnosti v razmerju nemškega in slovenskega jezika.
Delo je razdeljeno na dva dela. V teoretičnem delu so podrobneje predstavljene osnove frazeologije, lastnosti frazemov in njihova uporaba v mladinski literaturi. The following thesis will deal with idioms, found in the young adult novel Nathan und seine Kinder by author Mirjam Pressler. The main goal of the thesis is to establish the differences and similarities present when comparing idioms found in the German language, with those found in Slovenian.
The thesis is divided into two parts. The first is theoretical and features a presentation of the basics of phraseology, the characteristics of idioms and their use in young adult literature. A chapter is devoted to the authorMirjam Pressler and her work. The empirical part of the thesis deals with idioms found in the literary work itself, compares them with corresponding words in Slovenian and determines their level of equivalence based on said comparison
MOTOR DEVELOPMENT OF A CHILD IN THE FIRST TWO YEARS OF LIFE
Motorički razvoj djeteta predstavlja proces usvajanja i usavršavanja pokreta kojima dijete ovladava vlastitim tijelom s ciljem učinkovite interakcije s okolinom i predmetima. A child's motor development is the process of acquiring and perfecting movements that a child uses to control his or her own body in order to effectively interact with the environment and objects. This aspect of development is inextricably linked to emotional, social, somatic and cognitive development and at an early age can serve as an indicator of overall psychological maturation. Motor development can be classified into four basic areas: head control, trunk movement, and upper and lower limb movement. Key motor events, known as developmental milestones, are individually conditioned and do not occur simultaneously in all children. In order to timely detect potential deviations from typical motor development, it is common to divide development into three-month stages of a child's life. This classification allows for the identification of expected skills and their comparison with current motor achievements. A delay of three months or more may indicate the need for additional assessment, especially if there are signs of risk by month of life. One of the more common indicators of deviations is a change in muscle tone, which can be reduced (hypotonia), increased (hypertonia) or combined (dystonia syndrome). These conditions require early intervention by experts within a multidisciplinary team, in which the physiotherapist plays a key role. In addition to assessing the neuromotor status and implementing individualized therapy, the physiotherapist has an important educational role in working with parents, especially in the context of proper handling of the child (so-called baby handling) and implementing exercises to stimulate motor development. The active involvement of parents significantly contributes to the success of the rehabilitation process and ensures optimal conditions for the child's progress
The Benefits of Being Economics Professor A (and not Z)
Alphabetic name ordering on multi-authored academic papers, which is the convention in the economics discipline and various other disciplines, is to the advantage of people whose last name initials are placed early in the alphabet. As it turns out, Professor A, who has been a first author more often than Professor Z, will have published more articles and experienced afaster growth rate over the course of her career as a result of reputation and visibility. Moreover, authors know that name ordering matters and indeed take ordering seriously: Several characteristics of an author group composition determine the decision to deviate from the default alphabetic name order to a significant extent.performance measurement, incentives, economists, name ordering

Competition through Technical Progress
The relationship between technical progress and price competition is a controversial issue in economics. This paper highlights the fact that investment in technical progress is an authentic type of competition which benefits the consumers rather than the industry. This type of competition exists when the potential for technical progress, which can be incorporated by firms through investment, is high enough. Competition is, in fact, made up of two components: A static one which is known as price or quantity competition and a dynamic one, the Technical Progress competition which also contribute to reduce prices and increase quantities for consumers. Consequently, the economic factors that increase a firm's margin do not have to be viewed as the consumers' enemy, but rather as an ally, under specific conditions, because they allow higher investments in new technology by which firms increase their capacities and attract higher demand from consumers. This paper also underlines that, for a mature market, the maximum Consumer Surplus as well as Social Welfare are attained by a constant level of combined competition which is only dependent on the size of the market and the number of firms. The level of combined competition can be defined as the product of the static and the dynamic level of competition. As a consequence, the higher the potential of technical progress is, the lower the level of static competition must be in order to reach the maximum level of Consumer Surplus and Social Welfare. --Investment,Competition,Technical Progress,Dynamic Competition

Sebastian Castellio, Annotationes in Pauli Epistulam ad Romanos ex Cap. IX. Critical edition and English translation by Michiel Op de Coul and Mirjam van Veen, 2020
In this little book, Mirjam van Veen (Church Historian) and Michiel Op de Coul (Classical Scholar) publish the Latin text (together with an English translation) of a lengthy annotation on Romans 9, addressing the biblical foundation of the doctrine of predestination, clearly criticising the vision promoted by Jean Calvin. The author of the text, Sebastian Castellio (1515-1563), added this annotation to the second edition (1554) of his Latin Bible (first edition 1551), published by the Basel p..
