Acerca do feminino e do masculino na dança: das origens do balé à cena contemporânea

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação FísicaAncorado nos conceitos teóricos dos Estudos Culturais e metodológicos da Análise de Espetáculos, este trabalho teve como objetivo geral analisar o feminino e o masculino na dança cênica de tradição ocidental. Considerando que estereótipos de papéis sexuais acompanham mulheres e homens na sociedade e na dança, que por sua vez, tem o corpo como elemento que comunica e expressa essas situações acerca do feminino e do masculino, o trabalho buscou inicialmente compreender alguns momentos de transição na dança, no que se refere aos papéis sexuais em disputas e reciprocidades apresentadas no palco e, por vezes, fora dele. Em seguida, foi efetuada a descrição e análise do espetáculo Caminho da Seda (Raça Cia. de Dança de São Paulo, coreografado por Roseli Rodrigues e estreado em 2002) enfocando o estudo dos figurinos, dos corpos e dos movimentos, critérios que suscitaram discussões acerca das representações do feminino e do masculino e proporcionaram reflexões sobre a ligação de contextos históricos e atuais da dança. Observou-se neste espetáculo uma mistura de velhas imagens da dança com recentes figuras, que instauram as novas construções de corpos e de movimentos, refletindo no palco a beleza da mistura de características convencionalmente femininas, relacionadas à sensibilidade e sexualidade, com outras convencionalmente masculinas, como força e dinamismo. Figurino, corpo e movimento suscitaram a manutenção de alguns papéis, mas as representações similares de papéis sexuais obtiveram destaque, desfazendo estereótipos associados ao feminino e masculino, em atitudes que acompanham a dança na cena contemporânea.Anchored on the theoretical concepts of Cultural Studies and Analysis of Shows methodology, this study aimed the analysis of the feminine and masculine in scenic dance of occidental tradition. Considering that sexual stereotypes are commonly associated with men and women in society and in dance and the body is used as the element to communicate and express these situations, the study was made to understand some moments considered of transition in the dance, in relation to the disputes and reciprocities of men and woman on stage and sometimes out of it. Next, it was performed the description and analysis of the show Silk Road (Caminho da Seda, Group Raça Cia de Dança, choreographer Roseli Rodrigues, première 2002) focusing primarily the costumes and movement of the bodies, criteria that raised discussions about the representations of feminine and masculine and provided reflections on the connections between historical and actual context of dance. In this show it was observed a mixture of old and recent images of dance, resulting in a new construction of body and movements and reflecting in stage the beauty of mixing conventionally feminine characteristics such as sensitivity and sexuality with others considered masculine like strength and dynamism. Costumes, body and movement evoked the maintenance of some specific papers, but similar representations of women and men highlighted, despite of the stereotypes associated to female and male, in attitudes that accompany dance in the contemporary scene
Adolescência, gênero e AIDS nos significados atribuídos por jovens de três escolas de Florianópolis

Programa de Pós-Graduação em PsicologiaEste trabalho teve como objetivo investigar junto a adolescentes do Ensino Fundamental de três Escolas do Município de Florianópolis, qual o entendimento que possuem sobre adolescência, gênero e AIDS, procurando, dessa forma, dar voz a esses/as jovens. Para tanto, foram aplicados questionários com perguntas abertas e fechadas, nas 5ª e 7ª séries de duas escolas seriadas, e a jovens de idades entre 15 a 20 anos no Núcleo de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), bem como foram realizados grupos de discussões focais nas 7ª séries dessas escolas. Foram utilizados procedimentos de análise das informações obtidas nas respostas dadas aos questionários e às falas expressas nos grupos focais, agrupando-as a partir das temáticas investigadas. Constatou-se a importância da escuta do que pensam os/as adolescentes e jovens a respeito da adolescência, das relações de gênero e das DST/AIDS como um recurso a mais para efetivação da participação social desse grupo nas políticas públicas de saúde e promoção de cidadania. A análise das colocações dos/as estudantes investigados/as confirmaram que não é possível propor uma estratégia única na aplicação de políticas de prevenção às DSTs. É necessário pensar contextos e realidades específicas em um trabalho permanente de prevenção, de educação sexual e de tomada de consciência com relação à sexualidade e aos significados atribuídos a ela e às relações de gênero pelos jovens

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
