Moral Values of King Solomon's Book of Proverbs Chapters 1-2
Get PDFMoral values are one of the foundation upon which civilization throughout all ages is built. Without fundamental Judeo-Christian values, western civilization couldn’t be as advanced and sophisticated as it is today. Moral codes imparted by the Bible require all the believers within their society to act in a way which is optimum for a civilized society to thrive.
On this study, the writer applies a research methodology used in the dissertation by Prof. Dr. Agustinus Ngadiman, “Javanese Cultural Thought Patterns As Manifested in Expository Discourse.” It’s important to note that the research design is adapted for this study. The discourse analysis used in this study requires contextual analysis of the text, triangulation and key verse analysis combined with the interpretation of the major data and supplemental data to produce moral values analysis. The writer offers a moral analysis on the Book of Proverbs chapters 1-2 for the contemporary readers in our time. There are five moral messages that King Solomon, the author of the book, offered as a way to enhance the lives of the readers. They are “Discipline for Success”, “Respect towards Parents and their Teachings”, “Revering God”, “Discretion and Love of Wisdom”, and “Warning against Promiscuity”. Contemporary values for each of these values are also provided for this study.
Theory of discourse analysis is applied on the analysis of this study. In the end, the writer also concluded the thesis by giving the essence of this study and offering suggestions regarding this study for readers of the Bible, discourse analysis class and researchers on this field
A Epístola de Paulo a Filemon: uma leitura da Bíblia num estado de colonizador branco
Get PDFThe author proposes a post-colonialist reading of Philemon. Initially he characterizes the colonialist reading of the Epistle in its range of negative aspects. In a second step, he proposes that a liberating reading of Philemon cannot be simply post-colonialist in the sense of “neo-colonialist”. An evangelical reading should be characterized as being anti-colonialist, so as not to make a pact with the practices and values that are based on exploitation and injustice, signs of the process of the colonialism of the white colonizer.El autor propone una lectura pos-colonialista de Filemón. Inicialmente él caracteriza la lectura colonialista de la Epístola en su gama de aspectos negativos. En un segundo momento, propone que una lectura liberadora de Filemón no puede ser simplemente pos-colonialista en el sentido de “neocolonialista”. Una lectura evangélica deberá caracterizarse por ser anticolonialista, para no ser condescendiente con prácticas y valores que se basan en la explotación y la injusticia, marcas del proceso del colonialismo del colonizador blanco.O autor propõe uma leitura pós-colonialista de Filemon. Inicialmente ele caracteriza a leitura colonialista da Epístola em sua gama de aspectos negativos. Educação de tempo integral como política pública em Goiás
No full textEste artigo é resultado dos estudos e pesquisas que foram desenvolvidas no Doutorado em Educação da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás, sobre Educação Integral no Brasil e em Goiás. Este trabalho têm por finalidade, analisar a proposta de implantação de Educação Integral no Ensino Médio em Goiás, como política educacional, do governo do estado de Goiás, com base na nova Reforma do Ensino Médio, Lei n.o13.415/2017. Busca-se também evidenciar as implicações do Programa Ensino Médio Inovador/Projeto Jovem de Futuro - ProEMI/JF e do Programa Novo Futuro, ambos desenvolvidos pela Secretaria de Estado da Educação, Cultura e Esporte de Goiás - SEDUCE/GO, na implantação dos Centros de Ensino Médio em Período Integral-CEPIs e seus desdobramentos enquanto políticas públicas de Educação Integral. É uma proposta que se apresenta como alternativa às práticas pedagógicas vigentes, mas que, de acordo com a pesquisa feita, mostra-se que ela não tem nada de inédito, apenas prolonga a permanência dos alunos na escola, entretanto mostra-se promissora se proporcionar de fato educação integral em tempo integral.Fil: Filemon, Orley Olavo. Onderzoek naar de invloed van druk en van elektroliet op het fasengedrag van olie + water + niet-ionogene surfactant systemen
No full textEr is systematisch experimenteel onderzoek verricht naar de drukinvloed en de invloed van het "lyotroop" elektroliet NaC1 op het fasengedrag van Water+Phenylalkaan+n-alkyl polyglycolether ( CiEj )systemen tot drukken van 100 Mpa en incidenteel tot drukken van ca. 300 MPa. Uit de experimenten blijkt dat de druk voor dit type systemen een belangrijke parameter is. Onder invloed van druk kan er in deze ternaire systemen een driefasengebied - met evenwichten tussen drie vloeibare fasen: een surfactant microemulsiefase, een excess oliefase en een excess waterfase - optreden, dat zich verwijdt naar hogere drukken en temperaturen. Van het ternair systeem H2O+Phenylheptaan+C4E2 zijn er op grand van fasenevenwichtsmetingen voor drukken tot 80 MPa doorsneden door de temperatuur-samenstellings fasenprisma (met de temperatuur als ordinaat) gemaakt bij een water/olie verhouding van 1:1. Uit de experimenten blijkt dat bet driefasen "lichaam" (een doorsnede door dit "lichaam" toont de zgn. " 30 - fish") grater wordt met toenemende druk. In het systeem H20+Phenylhexaan+C4E2 , hetgeen bij atmosferische druk geen driefasengebied vertoont, blijken evenwichten tussen drie vloeibare fasen op te treden bij drukken vanaf ongeveer 185 MPa en temperaturen vanaf ca. 353 K. Door toevoeging van het elektroliet NaC1 aan het systeem H2O +Phenylhexaan+ C4E2 is het mogelijk om reeds bij atmosferische druk een driefasengebied te doen ontstaan. De juistheid van de voorspellingen met behulp van de "Hofmeister" reeks m.b.t. de effectiviteit van lyotrope elektrolieten lijkt hiermee te kunnen worden bevestigd. Toevoeging van het elektroliet NaC1 in combinatie met verhoging van de druk heeft een sterke invloed op de verwijding van het driefasengebied in het systeem H2O+Phenylheptaan+C4E2.Applied SciencesChemische Technologie en der MateriaalkundeToegepaste Thermodynamica en Fasenlee

No full textA középpontgörbe meghatározása mind szerkesztő, mind számító módszerrel munkaigényes folyamat (gépi számításnál a munkaidőcsökkentés költségmegtakarítást jelent). A dolgozatban a szerző olyan módszert ismertet, amellyel egyszerűen, kevés kiinduló adat segítségével elkészíthető a középpontgörbe alakhű vázlata. A végleges szerkesztést, ill. számítást ezután csak abban a tartományban szükséges elvégezni, ahol megoldás várható. A vázlat, amely megszünteti a rendelkezésre álló pontok összekötési sorrendjében adódó bizonytalanságot, felhasználható a kiinduló adatokban esetleg szükséges és lehetséges változások végrehajtásához. | The determination of the centre curve is a labour-absorbing procedure when made by a designing method or calculation (with a computer the reduction of the working time means saving of costs). The author in the paper presents a method for preparing the true-to-shape sketch of the centre curve from a few basic data. The final tracing or calculation is needed afterwards only in the range where a solution is expected. The sketch does away with the uncertainty in the sequential order of connecting the available points and can be used for carrying out the possibly needed and possible changes in the basic data

Get PDFDie studie van Paulus se brief aan Filemon het gebaat by die hernude belangstelling in die retoriese analise van Nuwe-Testamentiese geskrifte, in die sin dat ’n groot aantal retoriese analises van die brief gepubliseer is. Hierdie retoriese analises is vanuit ’n verskeidenheid perspektiewe gedoen, maar tot dusver het niemand nog die manier sistematies ondersoek waarop die vierde-eeuse outeur, wat later die naam Ambrosiastergekry het, die brief in sy kommentaar op die Pauliniese briewe geïnterpreteer het nie. Hierdie artikel bied dus ’n oorsig van Ambrosiaster se interpretasie van die brief aan Filemon en dui aan watter bydrae dit tot die retoriese analise van die brief kan maak.
Ambrosiaster’s exposition of the Letter to Philemon and the rhetorical analysis of the letter. In recent times, the study of Paul’s letter to Philemon benefitted from the renewed interest in the rhetorical analysis of New Testament writings, in the sense that a large number of rhetorical studies of the letter have been published. These rhetorical analyses of the letter have been done from different perspectives, but thus far, no one has systematically investigated the way in which the fourth-century author, who was later called Ambrosiaster, interpreted the letter in his commentary on the Pauline letters. Accordingly, this article offers an overview of Ambrosiaster’s interpretation of the letter to Philemon, and then outlines the contribution that his reading of the letter can make to the rhetorical interpretation of it
