Adhesive and Cohesive Strength in FeB/Fe2B Systems
No full textIn this work, FeB/Fe2B systems were evaluated by the scratch test. The powder-pack boriding process was performed on the surface of AISI M2 steel. The mechanical parameters, such as yield stress and Young’s modulus of the boride layer, were obtained by the instrumented indentation technique. Residual stresses produced on the boride layer were estimated by using the x-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The scratch test was performed in order to evaluate the cohesive/adhesive strength of the FeB/Fe2B coating. In addition, a numerical evaluation of the scratch test on boride layers was performed by the finite element method. Maximum principal stresses were related to the failure mechanisms observed by the experimental scratch test. Shear stresses at the interfaces of the FeB/Fe2B/substrate system were also evaluated. Finally, the results obtained provide essential information about the effect of the layer thickness, the residual stresses, and the resilience modulus on the cohesive/adhesive strength in FeB/Fe2B systems
Multipass Scratch Behavior of Borided and Nitrided H13 Steel
No full textAISI H13 steel was subjected to boriding and nitriding; its performance was evaluated by the progressive load scratch test, and then by the multipass scratch test (MPST), to evaluate the accumulated damage. Boriding and nitriding were carried out at a temperature of 800 and 580 °C, respectively, both treatments for 1 and 5 h of exposure time. In scratch test, a load range of 3-90 N was used for borides; a higher range (3-180 N) was chosen for nitrides. Critical loads (Lc) were estimated based on optical microscope observations of the scratch tracks. Failure mechanisms and residual depths were examined by scanning electronic microscope and optical profilometry. Finally, using fractions of Lc, MPST was applied on uncoated and coated samples, for 25, 50, 75 and 100 unidirectional scratch cycles. The coefficient of friction (COF) evolution was recorded and analyzed. A decrease in COF was observed as cycles go through; it was initially higher in uncoated sample; moreover, it was observed that normal load was determinant in its behavior, regardless of the treatment time. Nitrided samples exhibited less catastrophic failures over borided ones, also showed a better volume loss/load ratio performance, from 6 to 8 times better compared to borided samples

Parte do conceito de abjeção em Julia Kristeva e trata do imundo em diferentes objetos, dando sustentação para o que virá a seguir: uma análise que estabelece relações entre a merda, a linguagem e a profanação. A escatologia avança da cloaca no filme de Glauber Rocha, passa pelos discos voadores de Rogério Sganzerla e pela pocilga de Pier Paolo Pasolini para desencadear na morte, como elemento último da abjeção. Assim constataremos a condição abjeta do homem em Noite e Neblina de Alain Resnais, quando percorremos os crematórios de um campo de concentração e encontramos aí algo que não cessa de nos olhar. Habilidades metafonológica y escritura reproductiva en alumnos de tercero de primaria de dos instituciones educativas públicas del Callao
No full textThe research was to compare the relationship between writing skills and reproductive metaphonological third graders in elementary aged 8-10 years. The descriptive correlational study with a convenience sample of 96 students from two public educational institutions of Callao. Test was used metaphonological Skills (THM) by Gomez, Valero, Buades and Perez (1995) validated in Peru by Rodriguez (2003) and the Writing Process test (PROESC) by Cuetos, Ramos and Ruano (2004) adapted by the author (2011), both adapted instruments in Lima. The results showed that there is a relationship between variables, concluding that higher skill metafonológica greater reproductive performance in writing also checked the relationship between the variable metaphonological skills and the dimensions of the variable writing reproductive syllables dictation of de words, pseudowords dictation and dictation sentences.La Investigación tuvo como propósito comparar la relación entre las habilidades metafonológicas y la escritura reproductiva en niños de tercer grado de primaria con edades entre 8 a 10 años. El estudio fue descriptivo correlacional, con una muestra no probabilística de 96 estudiantes de dos instituciones educativas públicas del Callao. Se utilizó la prueba de Habilidades Metafonológicas (THM) de Gómez, Valero, Buades y Pérez (1995) validada en el Perú por Rodríguez (2003) y el test de Procesos de Escritura (PROESC) de Cuetos, Ramos y Ruano (2004) adaptada por la autora (2011). Ambos instrumentos adaptados en Lima. Los resultados evidenciaron relación entre ambas variables, concluyendo que a mayor habilidad metafonológica mayor el rendimiento en escritura reproductiva, asimismo se comprobó la relación existente entre la variable habilidades metafonológicas y las dimensiones de la variable escritura reproductiva: dictado de silabas, dictado de palabras, dictado de seudopalabras y dictado de frases.Tesi
