SHIFTING MEANING OF THE HIJRAH HADITH IN ECONOMIC CONSIDERATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Hijrah is a term that has been trending in recent years in Indonesia. The term’s popularity is due to the rise of reporting on the hijrah movements carried out by public figures. This trend then impacts the development of the fashion industry to produce the needs of those who do hijrah. The production that is done eventually requires advertising, so some people use it as a goal in doing hijrah. In this context, this study aims to find a shift in the understanding of hijrah, from religious reality to economic reality. To achieve this purpose, this study uses qualitative methods with library research techniques. As part of data analysis, this study uses framing analysis. This study concludes a shift in the meaning of hijrah from a religious base to a change in soacial identity. The change in social identity, in this context, then continues to the alteration of religious narratives as economic commodities. The behavior displayed by some people who do hijrah becomes blurred. The intention to do hijrah does not always initiate from self-improvement efforts by leaving bad behavior towards good behavior but can be preceded by economic goals. Hijrah can be encouraged to meet the advertising needs of products that have been issued by the clothing industry. This affects the vulnerability of religious communities in Indonesia
RESEPSI MASYARAKAT TIMUR INDONESIA TENTANG “SOPI” (REINTERPRETASI TERHADAP EMPAT SERANGKAI AYAT KHAMAR)
In this paper contains and describes how the people of Eastern Indonesia in the reception of verses about khamar, namely in an-Nahl (16): 67, QS. al-Baqarah (2): 219, QS. al-Maidah (5): 90, and QS. an-Nisa (4): 43. In the general view ofscholars khamar or the like, sopi is indeed something that is unlawful. This issue then raises problems in the lives of Eastern Indonesian people, who regard khamar or sopi as a symbol of brotherhood, encouragement of tradition and a turning wheel of the people\u27s economy. This paper is qualitative in nature, combining library research and field research. The data in this paper were collected by observation techniques, and interviews were then analyzed using the analysis of the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl, with religious leaders, and traditional leaders as research subjects. This paper contains the formulation of the problem (1) How is the reception of Eastern Indonesian people about theverse khamar in the Qur’an? (2) What is the perception of the community in distinguishing mudharat and the benefits of drinks khamar? They show of community reception through four verses attention to three aspects, symbolizing brotherhood, tradition and players encouragement economy of the community, in the reception also showed a reinterpretation of the meaning of the verse of the Qur’an, in particular paragraph of the law to drink alcohol or gin, which in the science of usul fiqh can be categorized as a rukhshah, that is, a codification of law that is given shari\u27ah for the mukallaf who has difficulty in carrying out the taklif that is imposed on him
Penggunaan Hadis Dalam Fatwa MUI Tentang Pluralisme: Telaah Kritis
This article explores the meaning and existence of Hadith in the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI). In this case the Hadith is not merely as a source of law in deciding a fatwa, but also reflects the basis of an argument about religion. As an influential religious institution, MUI determines a perception of the truth of religion offered to the community. At the same time, the paradigm of religio-centrism seems to prevent the institution from deciding on more inclusive fatwas. Therefore, the criteria of the hadith in the fatwas are based on the Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jama\u27ah. In other words, the fatwa tends to be oriented towards the Shafi\u27i which is approved by the majority of Muslims in Indonesia

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
