No full textFrutto di un lavoro di ricerca, che nasce da una collaborazione intensa, pur nella autonomia di metodo e nelle competenze specifiche, i saggi raccolti nel volume si interrogano sulle modalità degli intrecci e degli scambi tra parola e immagine nell’ambito della cultura artistica della seconda metà dell’Ottocento. Partendo da alcuni autori ( Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Edward Burne-Jones, Aubrey Beardsley) e temi ( Salomé, Tannhäuser) emblematici, l’indagine si concentra sulla individuazione delle fonti letterarie ed iconiche, sull’analisi dei meccanismi di traduzione/trascrizione, per cogliere le profonde trasformazioni che segnano la cultura inglese ed europea nel periodo analizzato. In questo quadro i tre saggi di Vanja Strukelj, Dante Gabriel Rossetti “as critic”, Salomè: l’enigma della testa mozza tra arte e critica nella seconda metà dell’Ottocento e Alle radici di Under the Hill. Aubrey Beardsley e il mito di Tannhäuser, pongono l’accento sulla valenza critica che possono assumere queste testimonianze nel più generale dibattito contemporaneo
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

No full textStructural analysis of gallotannins is currently carried out in the following steps: - extraction from the natural Matrix; -chromatographic isolation/putrification; - chemical or enzymatic hydrolysis of the tannins; - instrumental/chemical analysis of the hydrolytic products. The present investigation with the model compound the gallotannin Hamamelitannin, has dealt with the following: 1) choice of the best mass spectrometric technique for direct structural identiifcation of this molecule, isolation from Hamamelis virginiana L. bark, without any chemical manipulation: direct electron impact (DEI), direct chemical ionization (DCI), field desorption (FD) and positive and negative fast atom bombardment (FAB): 2) establishment of a mass spectrometric approach (MS/MS and FAB-MS) for the direct identification of this gallotannin species in the natural matrix, to minimize or eliminate all the extraction and chromatography steps to obtain quickly the unequivocal structure of the molecule
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Miocardiopatia ipertensiva e possibile ruolo patogenetico della schizofrenia
No full textLa psicopatologia molto spesso si associa a quadri di concomitante patologia cardiovascolare. Autorevole dottrina sostiene un ruolo eziopatogenicamente significativo della ipertensione arteriosa nell’insorgenza ed aggravamento delle condizioni cliniche di questo tipo di pazienti. L’ipertensione, così come l’aumento della frequenza cardiaca, a loro volta possono essere spiegati con una disregolazione del sistema neurotrasmettitoriale catecolaminergico.
A complicare la gestione di tali casi clinici, le difficoltà correlate all’adherence alla terapia da parte degli stessi pazienti.
Gli Autori presentano un caso di miocardiopatia in soggetto schizofrenico affetto da ipertrofia ventricolare sinistra di tipo concentrico.
Il ruolo patogenetico della malattia psichiatrica è riconducibile verosimilmente ad una associata ipertensione arteriosa che ha determinato quel sovraccarico sistolico ventricolare sinistro alla base della ipertrofia.
Da qui la necessaria attenzione da riservare sulle ripercussioni a livello sistemico delle psicopatologie, e quindi il richiamo ad una sorveglianza sanitaria più stretta e vigile sulle possibili complicanze di questo tipo di malattie.
Al tempo stesso è opportuno segnalare le difficoltà che possono nascere in sede necroscopica sulla possibile causa di morte da identificare, difficoltà che non possono essere sciolte senza un accurato studio della documentazione sanitaria che necessariamente deve essere messa a disposizione del sanitario e l’indispensabile ausilio del prezioso contributo fornito dalla tossicologia forense
