Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. KONSEP PENGUSAHAAN POHON PENGHIJAUAN PERKOTAAN SEBAGAI SUMBER PEMBIAYAAN PEMBANGUNAN KOTA PURWODADI
The regency of (irobogan, with Purwodadi as the capital town, lies on the strategic region. It has some good connecting ways to other regions around. The affects of the existance of these, is that the frequence of the traffic loading increases so it causes the gas pollution by the vehicles passing through. Besides, the increase of population growth in influences and reduces the urban lcmdspace plants by means the degradation of the space living in the urban area. 'To reduce the air pollution in urban area means it is needed the urban greening. The urban greening also has economical function beside to shade the roads. That is why it needs serious concept of making urban greening that gives the economical value for the urban development.
This study is directed to find the economic potential being owned by Purwodadi so it can be one of alternatives to charge the development of the town. The aim of the concept is to get concept of making the greening trees so that the economical values of the trees can be used continually for the development of the town.
The targets of this study consists of (1) the identification of the condition exciting in the studied area ; (2) literature analysis to determine the proper trees (3) financial analysis to acknowledge the decent efforts ; and (4) to determine the form of institution. Substantially the scope is the concept of making the urban greening and its institution, while the special scope is the parts of the roads in Purwodadi that consists of the secondary collector roads, primary local roads and secondary local road.
Based on the physical analysis of the road by applying the space plant 8 meters on each part of the road in Purwodadi will be planted 8.495 trees. That amount takes place on the road of secoundary collector for 2.756 trees, on the road of primmary local 2.951 trees, and on the roads of secondary local 2.788 trees. Seeing the aspect of the purposes, ecological aspect, the feature of the tree aspect, management aspect and the aspect of the media of growing, there are 7 kinds of trees that can be improved in the urban, such as : Jati, Kere Payung, Angsana, Mahoni, Glodogan„ Nangka dan Mangga..
Based the budget analysis function, the urban greening trees in Purwodadi can be resulted every year about Rp 5.3 milions to Rp 62,734.4 milions. Besides the urban greening trees give social function or advantages for the urban citizens about Rp 51.8 milions to Rp .573.8 milions each year. Value of NPV on interest 18 % a year as Rp 1,324.35 milions ; B/Gibr 2.94. Total cost is equal with total revenue will reached on interest grate on 39.83
a year.
The Analytic Hirarcy Process shows that the institution of managing the urban greening trees exists in the regency government of Purwodadi.
Kabupaten Grobogan dengan ibukotannya Purwodadi terleiak di wilayah yang strategis karena mempunyai heherapa jalur penghuhung herupa jaringan jalan yang menghubungkan daerah di sekitarnyct. Akibat adanya jalur penghubung ini maka .frekuensi lalu lintas dalam kola meningkat sehingga dapat tnenitnbulkan pencemaran akibat gas bitting kendaraan bertnotor. Di sisi lain peningkatan jumlah penduduk berakibat pada tekanan terhadap ruang-ruang terbuka hijau perkotaan sehingga terjadi degradasi lingkungan hidup perkotaan. Untuk mengurangi pencemaran udara di perkotaan diperlukan kegiatan penghijauan. Kegicttan penghijauan perkotaan ini salah satunya adalah dengan penanaman pohon di kanan kiri jalan. Potion penghijauan perkotaan di samping berfungsi untuk perlinciungan dapat juga berfungsi secara ekonomis. Oleh karena itu diperlukan konsep pengusahaan pohon penghijauan perkotaan yang dapat memberikan nilai ekonomis bagi pembangunan kota.
Studi ini dinzaksudkan untuk menggali potensi ekonomi yang ada di Kota Purwodadi sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif pembiayaan pembangunan kota. Tujuan studi untuk mendapatkun konsep pengusahaan pohon penghijauan perkotaan sehingga nilai ekonomis pohonnyt dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan bagi pembangunan kota.
Sasa•an studi meliputi (1) identifikasi kondisi eksisting kawasan studi ; (2) analisis literatvr untuk penentuan jenis pohon yang sesuai ; (3) analisis finansial untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengusahaan ; dan (4) merumuskan bentuk kelembagaannya. Ruang linglcup secara substansial adalah konsep pengusahaan pohon penghijauan perkotaan dan letnbaga pengusahaannya. Sedangkan ruang lingkup spasial adalah ruas-ruas jalan dalam Kota Purwodadi yang terdiri dari ruas-ruas jalan di Jaringan Jalan Kolektor Sekunder, ruas jalan di Jaringan Jalan Lokal Primer dan ruas jalan di Jaringan Jalan Lokal Sekunder.
Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis fisik jalan untuk menentukan jumlah pohon, analith kualitatif normatif untuk menentukan jenis pohon, analisis biaya-pendapatan dan analisis finansial untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengusahaan serta proses hirarki analitik (PHA) untuk merumuskan institusi yang akan menangani penghijauan perkotaan ini.
Berdasarkan analisis fisik jalur dengan menerapkan jarak tanam 8 meter pada setiap ruas jalan maka terdapat 8.495 pohon penghijauan yang dapat ditanam. Jumlah sebanyak itu terdapat di Jaringan Jalan Kolektor Sekunder sebanyak 2.756 pohon, Jaringan Jalan Lokal Primer 2.951 pohon dan Jaringan Jalan Lokal Sekunder 2.788 pohon.
Memperhatikan aspek tujuan pengusahaan, aspek ekologis, aspek penampilan pohon, aspek pengelolaan dan tempat tumbuh nzaka didapatkan 7 jenis pohon yang dapat dikembangkan claimm penghijauan perkotaan yaitu : Jati, Kere Payung, Angsana, Mahoni, Glodogan, Nangka dan Mangga.
Berdasarkan analisis biaya-pendapatan maka pohon penghijauan perkotaan dapat memberikan pendapatan secara ekonomis setiap tahunnya berkisar antara Rp 5,3 juta sampai Rp 62.734,4 juta dan dimulai tahun ke-7. Di samping itu pohon penghijauan perkotaan juga memberikan manfaat sosial bagi warga kola yaitu sehesar Rp 51,8 juta sampai Rp 573,8 juta setiap tahunnya. Nilai NPV pada suku bunga 18 % / tahun adalah Rp 1.324,35 juta ; B/C sebesar 2,94. Total cost sama dengan total revenue tercapai pada tingkat suku bunga 39,83 % /tahun.

MEMAHAMI PEMIKIRAN ABDULLOH SAEED TENTANG GERAKAN ISLAM PROGRESSIF DALAM KONTEKS SOSIOLOGI
Abdullah Saeed is a prominent muslim, sultan of Oman, professor and director of the Center of Contemporary Islamic Studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia. The purpose of this study is to understand Abdullah Saeed's thoughts about progressive Islamic movements in the context of sociology. This study uses his book as primary source and other literature. The results showed that Abdullah Saeed could be accepted in a minority Islamic environment because his thoughts about the development of Alquran law that allows changes in accordance with the times. Understanding and interpreting Alquran according to the needs of today's society. Alquran, if comprehended holistically, contextually, and comprehensively will be able to answer problems in the modern era, because It is the perfect and final holy book. Alquran never stops being studied, both by Muslims and non-muslim Orientalists. They find messages in the text by searching the history and social conditions of the recipients of the text which includes culture, customs, beliefs, norms, values, as well as institutions of the recipients of Alquran. OPTIMALISASI KURIKULUM PESANTREN DALAM MENINGKATKAN SUMBER DAYA SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-HAMID MAN 1 MALANG
Islamic boarding schools as one of the forms of outside education providers Schools have the potential, position and role which are very important and strategic for creating high-quality human resources. This study aims to analyze and found out about optimizing the pesantren curriculum in improving the student resources of Al-Hamid Islamic Boarding School MAN 1 Malang. It uses qualitative research with a case study type. Technique data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews, participant observation, anddocumentation. The data is analyzed with an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.
The results of this study indicate that curriculum optimatization in Al-Hamid Islamic Boarding School MAN 1 Malang consists: planning refers to the vision, mission, designing the curriculum from the previous year's evaluation; implementing the vision, mission, and refers to the plans that have been made; evaluation that held at the end of each year lessons, making plans for the following year.Pondok pesantren sebagai salah satu bentuk penyelenggara pendidikan jalur luar sekolah mempunyai potensi, kedudukan dan peranan sangat penting dan strategis untuk mewujudkan sumber daya santri yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan: (1) Bagaimana optimalisasi kurikulum pesantren dalam meningkatkan sumber daya santri di Pesantren Al-Hamid MAN 1 Malang, (2) Faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat optimalisasi kurikulum pesantren dalam meningkatkan sumber daya santri di Pesantren Al-Hamid MAN 1 Malang. Manajemen pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan akhlak siswa: Studi multikasus di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kabupaten Malang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Malang
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan karakter dengan manajemen yang baik akan menghasilkan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan memiliki akhlakul karimah sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan: (1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan akhlakul karimah di MAN 1 Kabupaten Malang dan MAN 1 Kota Malang, (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan akhlakul karimah di MAN 1 Kabupaten Malang dan MAN 1 Kota Malang, (3) evaluasi pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan akhlakul karimah di MAN 1 Kabupaten Malang dan MAN 1 Kota Malang, (4) implikasi pendidikan karakter dalam mewujudkan akhlakul karimah di MAN 1 Kabupaten Malang dan MAN 1 Kota Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan rancangan multikasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan (1) wawancara mendalam, (2) observasi partisipan, (3) dokumentasi. Data di analisis dengan model interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan uji kriteria derajat kepercayaan, kriteria keteralihan, kriteria kebergantungan, dan kriteria kepastian. Analisis data dengan teknik berfikir reflektif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter menggunakan kurikulum yang sudah terintegrasi dengan pendidikan karakter, (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dengan pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang baik, keteladanan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pembentukan budaya organisasi yang kondusif dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, (3) evaluasi pendidikan karakter dengan rapat rutinan, home visit, (4) dampak pendidikan karakter dalam peningkatan akhlak siswa dengan menghasilkan manajemen pendidikan karakter yang berakhlakul karimah.
Temuan penelitian dari perencanaan; mengacu pada visi dan misi madrasah, merancang kurikulum akademik dan non akademik, merancang kurikulum pendidikan karakter dari evaluasi tahun sebelumnya, pengelolaan lingkungan ekstrakurikuler, menciptakan budaya religius. Pelaksanaan; melalui lingkungan madrasah, melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar, melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Evaluasi; evaluasi dilakukan melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan, dengan melibatkan waka dan bidang-bidang terkait, dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah secara rutin dan bertahap, berkala dan berkesinambungan. Implikasi; kurikulum pendidikan karakter berdasarkan visi dan misi madrasah, penciptaan keteladanan, pembiasaan, peduli lingkungan, kerjasama dengan semua stakeholder. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: manajemen Pendidikan karakter berbasis religius dan habitualisasi.

يستخدم هذا البحث منهج البحث الكيفي بنوع دراسة الحالة مع تصميم متعدد الحالات. يتم جمع البيانات من خلال (١) مقابلة متعمقة، (٢) ملاحظة على المشاركين، (٣) الوثائق. ويتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام نموذج تفاعلي يتكون من جمع البيانات وتحديدها وعرضها و الاستنتاج منها. التحقق من صحة البيانات عن طريق اختبار معايير درجة الثقة ومعايير الاختيار ومعايير التبعية ومعايير اليقين. تحليل البيانات باستخدام تقنية التفكير التأملي.
أظهرت نتائج هذا البحث ما يلي: (١) تخطيط تعليم الشخصية باستخدام المنهج التعليمي الذي تم دمجه مع تعليم الشخصية، (٢) تنفيذ تعليم الشخصية مع التعويدات الجيدة والشفافية والأنشطة اللامنهجية وتشكيل ثقافة تنظيمية تفضي إلى قيم تعليم الشخصية، (٣) تقييم تعليم الشخصية من خلال الاجتماعات المنتظمة والزيارات المنزلية، (٤) آثار تعليم الشخصية في تحسين أخلاق الطلاب من خلال إنتاج إدارة تعليم الشخصية مع الأخلاق الكريمة.
نتائج البحث من حيث التخطيط؛ يشير إلى رؤية ورسالة المدرسة، وتصميم المناهج الأكاديمية وغير الأكاديمية، وتصميم مناهج تعليم الشخصية من نتائج التقويم في العام السابق، وإدارة البيئات اللامنهجية، وخلق الثقافة الدينية. من حيث التنفيذ؛ من خلال بيئة المدرسة، أنشطة التعليم والتعلم، والأنشطة اللامنهجية. من حيث التقويم؛ يتم التقويم من خلال تنفيذ الأنشطة التي تنضم فيها وكلاء المدرسة والأقسام ذات الصلة، التي يقوم بها رئيس المدرسة بانتظام وتدريجيا ودوريا ومستمرا. من حيث الآثار منه؛ منهج تعليم الشخصية على أساس رؤية ورسالة المدرسة، وخلق القدوة، والتعويد، والرعاية البيئية، والتعاون مع جميع أصحاب المصلحة. نتائج هذا البحث هو : إدارة تعليم الشخصية على أساس الدينيىة والاعتيادية.
ABSTRACT
Character education with good management will produce good quality education and noble character (akhlakul karimah) by Islamic values. This research aims to analyze and find out: (1) The planning of character education in realizing a noble character at MAN 1 Malang and MAN 1 Kota Malang, (2) the implementation of character education in realizing a noble character at MAN 1 Malang and MAN 1 Kota Malang, (3) the evaluation of character education in realizing a noble character at MAN 1 Malang and MAN 1 Kota Malang, (4) the implication of character education in realizing a noble character at MAN 1 Malang and MAN 1 Kota Malang.
This research employed qualitative research with a case study type and multiple case design. Data collection techniques were carried out by (1) in-depth interviews, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation. The data was done using an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To check the data validity, the researcher analyzed its credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability degree. Data analysis employed the reflective-thinking technique.
The result shows that: (1) The planning of character education uses a curriculum integrated with character education, (2) the implementation of character education is realized with good habits, exemplary, extracurricular activities, the formation of a conducive organizational culture with character education values, (3) the evaluation of character education is realized with regular meetings, home visits, (4) the implication of character education in enhancing students' morals is realized by producing management of character education with a good character.
Research findings from the planning; refer to the vision and mission of the madrasa, designing academic and non-academic curricula, designing character education curriculum from the previous year's evaluation, managing the extracurricular environment, and creating a religious culture. Implementation; through the madrasa environment, through teaching and learning activities, and extracurricular activities. Evaluation; evaluation is carried out through the implementation of activities involving the vice principal and related fields and is carried out by the headmaster regularly and gradually, periodically and continuously. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
