Analisis Karya Lukis Realisme Pelukis Tuna Daksa Khanafi di Kota Blitar

Keunikan karya lukis Khanafi lebih menitik beratkan pada tema yang ditampilkan berdasarkan realitas sehari-hari sehingga perwujudan objek-objeknya bersifat nyata. Objek-objek yang ditampilkan berkaitan dengan aktivitas, kebiasaan yang pada dasarnya dapat ditangkap oleh indera mata. Objek alam difungsikan sebagai dasar pengungkapan yang bersifat anatomis. Khanafi tetap berfikir positif, menunjang kehidupan ekonomi keluarga dengan berjualan lukisan. Seseorang dengan fisik yang kurang sempurna seperti Khanafi, juga dapat menciptakan hasil karya lukis layaknya pelukis dengan fisik sempurna lainnya. Oleh karena itu bagaimanakah latar belakang penciptaan dan tujuan visualisasi karya lukis Khanafi, serta bagaimanakah karakteristik, dan faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi proses penciptaan karya lukis Khanafi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang penciptaan, tujuan visualisasi, karakteristik hasil karya lukis, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penciptaan karya lukis realisme pelukis tuna daksa Khanafi di kota Blitar. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data berupa kata-kata dan tindakan dalam proses berkarya lukis, serta sumber tertulis dari narasumber. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tahap analisis data dimulai dari tahap reduksi data, paparan data, penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menjaga keabsahan data, dilakukan trianggulasi sumber data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut maka diperoleh tiga simpulan hasil penelitian. Pertama, Latar belakang penciptaan karya lukis Khanafi dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian, lingkungan, kemampuan teknis, dan pengalaman. Tujuan visualisasi dari lukisan Khanafi adalah merekam semua objek yang hadir secara nyata di alam,. Kedua, Karakteristik karya lukis Khanafi terdiri dari beberapa aspek yaitu Khanafi menggunakan lingkungan dan kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai konsep ide serta sumber gagasan dalam penciptaan lukisan. Dalam penggunaan warna Khanafi menggunakan warna primer, sekunder, dan tersier. Tujuan penggunaan warna dalam hasil karya lukis Khanafi dimaksudkan sebagai representasi alam. Proses penciptaan karya lukis Khanafi meliputi tiga tahapan utama seperti: tahap pencarian gagasan, tahap pengembangan gagasan awal menjadi gambaran pravisual kemudian diberi bentuk atau wujud nyata, dan tahap menvisualisasikan gambaran pravisual dengan memanfaatkan material lukis yang meliputi bahan, alat, dan tehnik. Ketiga, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Khanafi dalam proses penciptaan karya lukis meliputi lingkungan, waktu, prinsip proses kreatif dan cita-cita, serta material lukis yang digunakan Khanafi pada saat melukis. The objects presented are connected with the activities and habits which can be captured by the eyesight. Natural object are functioned as the basic approach of anatomic, proportion, and perspective. Eventhough Khanafi is disabled, he still thinks positively, supporting family funding by selling his paintings. A person with imperfect physical appearance like Khanafi can also create works of art like a professional artist with more complete physical appearance. Howewer, the background and the purpose of Khanafi creation, characteristics and what are the factors that influence the process of creating works of Khanafi gallery. The research was conducted in purpose to describe background of the creation, visualization purposes, the characteristics of the paintings, and the factors that influence the creation of works of art in realism painting of disabled Khanafi in Blitar. This study use qualitative research approach, while the type of research used in this research is descriptive research. The data source is in the form of words, actions, and written sources from the source. The data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis phase starts from the stage of data reduction, exposure data, drawing conclusions, verification, and reflection. In order to maintain the validity of the data, triangulation of data sources are performed. Based on the results of data analysis, three conclusions are obtained. First, the background of Khanafi creation consists of a series of personality including genetic factors, environmental, technical skills, and experience. The visualization purpose of Khanafi painting is recording all real objects which present in the nature, such as humans, animals or plants. Second, the characteristics of Khanafi paintings consist of several aspects such as the environment and daily life as the concept and idea of the paintings creation. Khanafi used primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. The purpose of color in Khanafi paintings are as the representation of nature. The process of Khanafi paintings creation include three major stages such as: finding the idea, improving the idea to the pre visualization of reality, and completion. Third, the factors that influence Khanafi in the process of creation covers the environment, time, the principle of the creative process and ideals, as well as painting materials used by Khanafi during painting
“DARI LUCU MENUJU KOMERSIAL” SEBUAH TINJAUAN SEMIOTIKA VISUAL KOMIK IKLAN TAHI LALATS
The Tahilalats advertising comics are a differentiator from works that only aim to convey humorous messages on Instagram. An overview of advertising comics with commercial purposes is interesting because the contents of commercial advertisements for a product become a new pattern of creativity for Tahilalats creators. The object of the problem taken from the work entitled “Surprise” offers a form of negotiation between the aim of being funny and commercial advertising The Ponds Men advertisement is a promotional idea for men’s skin care products which is humorously visualized in ten comic strip panels. The series of panels is a sign structure that will be dissected in order to find the right meaning to show the persuasion message of a commercial product. The accuracy of meaning can be seen from the visualization of the text or aspects of form and context or content as part of the marking system. The marking system will be reviewed based on the sign structure of Barthes’s semiotic theory, namely lexia. The meaning analysis begins by re-reading the nine comic panels into four lexias by naming them based on the logic of meaning, not chronology. In the lexia you will find code categories used as sign dynamic rules according to Barthes based on the perception and culture of the users as interpreters including hermeneutic codes, semimic or semantic codes, symbolic codes, proairetic or action codes, and cultural codes. The code becomes the main reference showing the context in the form of a persuasive message from a Ponds Men commercial advertisement. The context of being funny can be visualized with aspects of character shape, cartoon-style expressions that are simple and simple. The supporting theory is in the form of relays and intertextuality from Julia Kristeva to review the performance of the tagging system based on caption text in the form of titles and descriptions in the Instagram Tahilalats column. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
