Su obsesión fue sumergirse en el corazón de los seres, ver con sus ojos, pensar y sentir como ellos. En cierta manera, necesitaba transformarse en sus personajes para crearlos. Son pocos los escritores que, como él, han logrado caracterizar a los animales sin humanizarlos, describiéndolos en su propio entorno y recreándolos con su auténtica forma de ser. Este volumen recopila los libros titulados Historias del bosque hondo y En las lindes de monte, que son el resultado de la entrañable relación que mantuvo Mario Escobar Velásquez con los animales durante toda su vida y de su gran talento para observarlos, comprenderlos y plasmarlos en la literaturaAs a writer, Mario Escobar Velásquez insisted on decoding not only human but also animal behavior. He was obsessed with plunging into the heart of beings, seeing with their eyes, and thinking and feeling just as they do. Somehow, he needed to become his own characters in order to create them. There are few writers who, like him, have managed to characterize animals without humanizing them, describing them in their own environment and recreating them with their authentic way of being. No full textLa literatura salvadoreña se ha desarrollado bajo distintos escenarios sociales y situaciones difíciles del país a lo largo de los años. Circunstancias determinantes en la construcción de la visión de mundo de los autores nacionales. Sin embargo, unos alcanzan mayor relevancia que otros. En este estudio se propone un análisis crítico de la producción literaria de Francisco Andrés Escobar, poeta salvadoreño de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. La carencia de estudios de la obra literaria de Escobar, es una razón relevante para realizar esta investigación y llenar un vacío en la historiografía crítica de la literatura nacional, destacando que Escobar fue galardonado con el Premio Nacional de Cultura en el año 1995

Londoño near Medellín, 20 Mar 1989, Luer 14312 (holotype, MO!). Distribution: — Colombia. Notes:— Myoxanthus epibator is endemic to Colombia and most similar to the recently described M. bolivianus from Chochabamba, Bolivia.
