In an effort to minimize the spread of Covid-19 in Kopah Village, as a Covid-19 Responsive Village Volunteer in Kopah Village who performs their duties such as, conducting education, registering sick people, identifying village facilities, spraying disinfectants, monitoring community movements, collaborating with referral hospitals, and conduct coordination based on the Circular of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Number 8 of 2020 concerning Villages Responding to Covid-19 and Confirmation of Village Cash Intensive Work. This study aims to find out how the efforts of Village Volunteers in implementing the Covid-19 Response by Village Volunteers in Kopah Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study uses a descriptive type of research which is a process of solving problems that are investigated based on the phenomena of facts in the field that are seen and then continued by being connected with theories. Researchers also use a qualitative approach with the aim of supporting the level of accuracy of the results so that they can be accounted for and can easily be understood. This research uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the research results of the Covid-19 Response Village Volunteer Team in Kopah Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, the implementation of the Covid-19 response in Kopah Village was not optimal. The inhibiting factors for the successful implementation of the Covid-19 Response by Village Volunteers in Kopah Village include the weakening commitment of the Covid-19 Response Village Volunteers in Kopah Village as a Village-level Task Force in the Emergency Response to Covid-19 Handling in Kopah Village. This can be seen from the lack of carrying out tasks based on the circular letter of the Minister of Villages, PDTT Number 8 of 2020 concerning Villages Responding to Covid-19 and Affirmation of Village Cash Intensive Work. This resulted in a lack of awareness and discipline of the citizens, there are still many residents who ignore the government's advice to obey health protocols. Therefore, the Covid-19 Response Village Volunteer Team needs to make critical awareness to the community through socialization and providing education to realize the importance of preventing the spread of Covid-19, as well as tightening access to movement in and out of the village community and installing a signpost for the MANDATORY MASK AREA to continue to remind the public. to always keep the distance between each other and wear a mask when going out of the house

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

The purpose of this article is to analyze the positioning of the pioneer youth movements, namely Pandawara and KHM in Indonesia. The study of youth and ecology is an interesting study because so far the relationship between youth and ecology has not been well connected. However, in recent years it has been seen how the younger generation has begun to migrate towards the issues they raise. As a result of this issue migration activity, there is a tendency to strengthen the younger generation's issues in the field of ecology. This fact triggered the birth of various associations, groups, communities, youth movements or organizations which began to pay attention and concern to the ecological sector. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The author collected data using literature study steps. All data and facts are collected from various relevant literature in accordance with the main problem formulation that has been determined previously. The research results show that the birth of KHM and the emergence of the Pandawara Group are signs of the awakening of the younger generation where they have paid attention to ecological problems. The existence of this young generation has a central role in accelerating ecological justice in the future. The trend of the younger generation like KHM and Pandawara in the dynamic arena of the younger generation is a historical milestone that we never imagined that their positioning would be able to mobilize the strength of society to work together to build ecological awareness today

Human resources are a problem that Batang Regency is still experiencing. Many policies have been and are being launched by the regional government and do not have enough impact. Therefore, with the situation experienced, the low level of human resources has become a complicated problem for the Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KITB). The purpose of this article is to educate students at SMK Ma'arif 01 Limpung to be motivated to continue their studies in order to attend the KITB competition. Batang Regency still has people whose awareness of continuing higher education still needs to be higher. Seeing this situation, researchers carried out educational services for students to continue their higher education to face KITB at SMK Ma'arif NU 01 Limpung. This service method uses a participatory educational approach that partners and coordinates with the target school as the object of service. Evaluation of academic activities at Vocational School Ma'arif NU 01 Limpung shows an increase in student interest in continuing higher education. The visible positive attitude changes indicate that this activity was successful in motivating students towards the importance of higher education

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

Economic Resistance of Sub-National Governments in Mitigating Inflation Risk: The Case of Bela Beli Kulon Progo Movement

Political decentralization has brought great changes in the form of challenges and opportunities. In the context of the challenges of decentralization, it requires regions to clean up, organize, and fix regional problems. However, it must be used as an instrument to solve economic problems, one of which is inflation in the regions. Kulon Progo Regency is one of the role models that has an economic instrument in mitigating the risk of inflation. This arrangement is stated in the Bela Beli Kulon Progo policy. This policy uses an approach to strengthen the local economy so that it can stimulate the growth of people\u27s per capita income. This study examines these issues using a qualitative approach with library research methods. It uses the theory proposed by the decentralization and inflation approach proposed by Treisman. The results show that strengthening the local economy had the power to mitigate the risk of inflation in regions. The strengthening of the local economy was seen in the increasing level of people\u27s income and regional income which resulted in stronger economic growth. However, inflation is a serious threat to the regional economy if people\u27s incomes are fixed and there is economic instability. Bela Beli Kulon Progo movement improved the local economy of Kulon Progo. Various programs of Bela Beli became the basis for the strong economic support of the district so that inflation could be controlled. On this basis, the movement becomes an instrument as well as a role model in mitigating the risk of regional inflation. This study, therefore, contributes to the study of local movement and inflation in the regional contexts
