The article analizes the phases of the indigenous culture by the Peruvian author Manuel González Prada, within the perspectives of discussion by wich the indigenous essay flows by the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century in Latin America. Manuel González Prada, perhaps the most polished prose writer of the nineteenth century, finds the need of an amalgamated American free of the religious, artistic and intelectual yoke that was still outstanding in a culture that to him, was Hispanizing and foreign. In his indigenous texts collected in Páginas libres(1894) and Horas de lucha (1908) this sharp thinker shows the true problems of the Latin American Native in the construction of the Peruvian nationality and thus, the Latin America.

Developed in the context of the educational experience of Celestino Fabriani, a priest and educator for the deaf and dumb in Modena in the nineteenth century, his grammar (1845, 1875) is a product of linguistic rationalism in Italy. Linked to the linguistic reflection in Lettere Logiche by Marcantonio Parenti (1838), Fabriani aimed to overcome the limits of predominantly descriptive and prescriptive grammars that were considered unsuitable for differential teaching. The grammar puts the model of Grammairiens philosophes and Idéologues to good use as well as that of the Lords of Port-royal and the second posthumous and definitive edition was printed in 1875. The interest in this text lies in the author’s focus on the need for “special” education and the theoretical implications of this leading to innovative choices. In particular, the author proposed to radically revise the technical lexicon on an etymological basis, so that it was transparently linked to logical linguistic functions. He described the functional characteristics of a large number of linguistic elements and made an attempt at rationalizing the system of parts of speech. From a teaching point of view, Fabriani paid great attention to the applicability of his model, combining rationalism with a language teaching strategy that was sensitive to the needs of special users (and open to reflections and experiments carried out in France and Italy by De l’Épée and Assarotti). It was a system in which natural, direct and grammatically oriented methods were combined. Strictly speaking, the linguistic paradigm proposed by Fabriani remains traditional: the authors cited do not date back beyond the second half of the seventeenth century. He offers an exhaustive panorama of literary language, showing no openness to common use, if not in the lexis, without puristic inclinations. This can be explained by the fact that he had been trained and worked in a politically and culturally conservative environment and that the rationalistic models which inspired him was anchored to a classicistic framework which validated the Quintilian archetype of consensus bonorum
The objective of this research work is to make known the privilege of seeing the birth of one of the most influential and emblematic characters in our history. An intellectual who goes hand in hand with his ideals, his constant training in the literary field, his demands on the political side and his critical fighting voice. They were going to bequeath Peru the opportunity to see the great mistakes that had been made and the opportunity to undertake a new vision about ourselves. And in the poetic field, the present study based on the poetry of Manuel González Prada as one of the minds that influenced and renewed all other generations, including the poet from Santiago de Chuco. González Prada, a threshold writer, who gave birth to everything, was a before and after in national poetics and in literature in general, some thinkers argue that if Don Manuel had not existed, characters such as Valdelomar would not have stood out in their true dimension, Mariátegui, Vallejo, Chocano, Haya de la Torre. Many of the referring writers valued him in his writings with dedications to the author of Pájinas Libres, and took him as a distinguished teacher.
