Perbedaan Kadar Cea dan Ca 19-9 dalam Serum berdasarkan Differensiasi Sel pada Kanker Kolorektal
No full textBackground --- Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and Carbohydrate antigen (CA 19-9) are the most common tumor markers for colorectal cancer. Both have prognostic value. According recommendation by the Colorectal Working Group of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) CEA ≥5 ng/ml was defined as elevated CEA level and CA 19-9 ≥37 U/ml was defined as elevated CA 19-9 level. To date in Indonesia, datas regarding serum level of CEA and CA 19-9 characteristic based on cell differentiation in preoperative colorectal cancer have not been avaible yet.
Objective --- To evaluate the difference of serum level CEA and CA 19-9 based on cell differentiation in colorectal cancer.
Materials and Methods --- The study was conducted from July 2012 to May 2013. Fourty patients were enrolled in the study, 22 males and 18 females. The mean age of patients was 50.78 ± 14.96 years old, 22 males, 18 females. Clinicopathological characteristics and associated follow-up data were cross sectional with comparative analytic. Then to evaluate the difference and correlation serum level of CEA and CA 19-9 based on cell differentiation (histopathologic grading).
Result --- Serum level of CEA and CA 19-9 based on cell differentiationwere not significantly different. There were no significant different of CEA and CA 19-9 based on cell differentiation in colorectal cancer with p value 0.314 and .,787 (p > 0.05) respectively. There was no correlation of CEA and CA 19-9 based on cell differentiation, p value 0.475 and 0.247 ( p > 0.05) respectively.
Conclusion --- There was no significantly different of CEA and CA 19-9 based on cell differentiation in colorectal cancer.Latar Belakang --- Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) dan Carbohydrate Antigen (CA 19-9) adalah penanda tumor untuk kanker kolorektal (KKR). Keduanya memiliki nilai prognostik. Berdasarkan Colorectal Working Group of the American Joint Committee on Cancer dikatakan nilai abnormal bila peningkatan nilai CEA yaitu ≥ 5 μg/l dan peningkatan nilai CA 19-9 yaitu ≥ 37 U/ml. Peningkatan CEA dalam serum dapat diperiksa pada penderita KKR pasca operasi bila terdapat rekurensi atau metastasis, mungkin hal tersebut menyebabkan adanya pengaruh differensiasi sel dengan kadar CEA. Demikian CA 19-9 menurut rekomendasi ASCO, dapat melengkapi pemeriksaan pada penderita KKR. Belum ada data penelitian di Indonesia mengenai karakteristik kadar CEA dan CA 19-9 berdasarkan diffferensiasi sel penderita KKR preoperatif.
Tujuan --- Untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar CEA dan CA 19-9 dalam serum berdasarkan differensiasi sel yang berbeda pada KKR. Bahan dan Cara --- Sampel studi adalah pasien KKR (n = 40, rerata umur SD 54,67 ± 14,96, 22 pria, 18 wanita) antara Juli 2012 sampai dengan Mei 2013 diperiksa kadar serum CEA dan CA 19-9. Karakteristik klinikopatologis dan data dasar diperoleh secara cross sectional dengan analisis komparatif. Selanjutnya dianalisis perbedaan serta korelasi kadar CEA dan CA 19-9 berdasarkan differensiasi sel (derajat histopatologi).
Hasil --- Tidak dijumpai perbedaan bermakna kadar serum CEA dan CA 19-9 pada KKR berdasarkan differensiasi sel dengan p value 0,314 dan 0,787 (p > 0,05). Uji Chi-square dan Spearman didapatkan tidak dijumpai hubungan yang bermakna dari CEA dan CA 19-9 dengan differensiasi sel dengan p value 0,475 dan 0,247 (p > 0,05).
Kesimpulan --- Tidak dijumpai perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik kadar CEA dan CA 19-9 pada KKR76 Halama
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used

The data is acquired by record, language game, and observation. From the
analisis it is found that : First, the acquisition lexical of English language by the
children Kindergarden Brigjen Katamso have differently between the knowledge
lexical and production lexical. Second, the total of knowledge lexical are 92,5 %
to girls and 93 % to boys. Third, the total of production lexical are 52 % and the
boys are 67 %. Fourth, the total of frequency lexical of root have differently
between lexical knowledge and lexical production. Fifth, the total acquisition of
