'Resting' and 'Fremantle Terzinas' Poems by author Hersri Setiawan (Translation into English by David T. Hill)
In late February 1993, Indonesian author Hersri Setiawan arrived for a brief visit to Australia to participate in the Perth Writers' Festival at the Fremantle Arts Centre. A former political prisoner held for nine years in detention without trial, he managed to leave Indonesia several years ago and now lives in the Netherlands as a political exile. In at anchor often encountered some problems, one of it which is the
dragging anchor to lead the ship ran aground and suffered a collision, so that to
overcome and prevent that happening, one of the way is to increase the holding
power of the chain jangkar, therefore to increase the knowledge and understanding
about dragging anchor on the container ship, the author tries to analyze and get the
problem as follows: (1) what is the cause of dragging anchor when at anchor in
Shanghai Strait on MV. NYK LYRA?, (2) how the prevention of dragging anchor
when at anchor in Shanghai Strait on MV. NYK LYRA?.
Present different references that support the theory about the cause of
dragging anchor on container ships, as well as efforts to prevent dragging anchor.
The method used by the author in delivering the problem is qualitative
method to illustrate and describe the object under study. Based on how to obtain it,
will present the data obtained in a descriptive or create a picture of the situation or
event based on the data that is accurate and has a close relationship between the
researcher and the researched.
The authors concluded that the cause of dragging anchor when at anchor in
Shanghai strait on MV. NYK Lyra is due to seabed anchors do not grip properly
and anchor chains that have rusted and faded colors could cause errors determines
the length of chain that had been in the water, resulting in a lack of holding power
that causes the dragging anchor. And prevention of dragging anchor when at
anchor in Shanghai strait on MV. NYK Lyra is to loose extra anchor chain to
increase holding power (traction), if still dragging lower the other anchor. If
necessary, use the main engines and combine with steering the ship to detain the
ship from dragging.

ALIH KODE DAN CAMPUR KODE DALAM KONTEN YOUTUBE LEONARDO EDWIN
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1) bentuk alih kode, (2) bentuk campur kode, (3) faktor penyebab alih kode, dan (4) faktor penyebab campur kode dalam konten youtube Leonardo Edwin.Jenis penelitian skripsi adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah konten youtube Leonardo Edwin rentang Januari 2023 sampai Maret 2024 sebanyak 14 video. Data peneltiian yang diambil yaitu tuturan yang mengandung alih kode dan campur kode. Instrumen penelitian adalah human instrument atau peneliti sendiri dengan berbekal pengetahuan mengenai bentuk alih kode, bentuk campur kode, faktor penyebab alih kode dan campur kode. Teknik pengumpulan data pada berupa teknik simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode agih dan metode padan. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari empat hal. Pertama, bentuk alih kode ditemukan 100 data yang didominasi oleh bentuk alih kode ekstern bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Inggris. Kedua, faktor penyebab alih kode didominasi oleh faktor penutur. Ketiga, bentuk campur kode ditemukan 222 data yang didominasi oleh bentuk campur kode penyisipan unsur kata. Description (amended from de Laubenfels 1954): A repent or sprawling ramose sponge, reaching a maximum length of at least 13 cm. The diameter of the branches is 9 mm; oscules are about 2 mm in diameter and 2 cm apart. Colour. Colour in life is dull olive drab. Consistency. Slightly spongy but also somewhat stiff, tearing very easily. Spicules. Oxeas in a range of 100- 119.8 -150 x 2.5- 2.9 -5 µm. Skeleton. Less dense, more irregular isodictyal spicule network with one size of spicule. Remarks: De Laubenfels (1954) described that the consistency of the type specimen was slightly spongy, somewhat stiff and tearing very easily. The surface of the type specimen does not possess an ectosomal specialisation, which is a typical characteristic of sponges from Family Chalinidae. Little or lack of spongin in skeleton was observed. Selama ini kita salah memandang musik hanya sebagai sebuah peristiwa seni yang netral dan tanpa bias. Musik sejak awal harus diklasifikasikan dalam dua kategoriberbeda. Pertama, ia adalah sebentuk karya seni bunyi yang dinikmati sisi estetisnya. Ide penciptaan bisa berasal dari mana saja, tapi tujuannya tetaplah memberi kenikmatan estetis pada pendengar. Kedua, karena kodratnya yang demikian, musik seringkali digunakan sebagai katalisator dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan tertentu. Artinya musik tidak lagi netral, tapi berpihak. Hal itulah yang membedakan musik dengan kicauan burung. Sama-sama indah, tapi yang satu tak bisa disebut musik. Musik itu dilandasi dengan aspek kesengajaan, tidak hadir secara spasial. Kesengajaan maksud inilah yangdiperdebatkan, menempatkan musik “dalam bingkai kepentingan”. Tapi mari, walaupun sulit, kita lepaskan keterkaitan musik dengan penciptanya. Lepaskan musik dari beban-beban kepentingan musisinya. Biarkan bunyi musik itu mengalun, dinyanyikan, dan disenandungkan dalam peluh perjuangan mencari keadilan. Spicule size variation in Xestospongia testudinaria Lamarck, 1815 at Probolinggo-Situbondo coastal
Abstract. Xestospongia testudinaria Lamarck, 1815 is a marine sponge that become a main constituent in reef ecosystems at northern waters Probolinggo-Situbondo. This barrel sponge species possesses an oxea type of spicule that varies in dimensions (length and width) in concordance to condition and location of habitat. The experiment aimed to understand how spicules condition of this sponge reacted to environment variables. Sponges’ specimen were taken by SCUBA equipment in 6-7 m, 10-11 m, and 14-15 m depths in addition to four different localities and three different part of sponges’ body (upper, middle and basal parts). Environmental variables data were also retrieved (salinity, water clarity, temperature, dissolve silica, and depth) in each locations. Results confirmed that oxea spicule size either in length or width dimensions in four locations (Batu Lawang coral cluster [BL], Karang Mayit coral cluster [KM], Paiton coral cluster [PT], and Takat Palapa [TP]) relatively increased toward depth. Likewise, the size of spicules in the TP relatively longer than three other locations. In contrast, spicules oxea in PT relatively wider than three other locations. Salinity gave negative impact to spicules length, while depth gave positive impact. Depth, water clarity, dissolve silica, and temperature gave negative effect to spicules width while salinity gave positive impact
