Etymology and semantics of the words kobieta, zhenschina in Polish and Russian languages. Bachelor work, Riga, University of Latvia. 2012 – 54pp. This work is dedicated to the studying of the meaning of the Polish word kobieta and Russian word zhenschina (woman), the changes of these meanings in the history of semantics of these words, as well as to the comparison of these words in Polish and Russian languages. This research uses the method of contrastive analysis, as well as the principles of etymological analysis. The factological basis of this study is the information reflected in various Polish and Russian etymological and defining dictionaries. The goal of the work is studying, analysis and comparison of possible etymological versions of the word kobieta, as well as consideration of the lexical-semantic relations of the Polish kobieta and Russian zhenschina. For the purpose of the research, materials in Polish were used. The translation of the quoted material was performed by the author of this research. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters (theoretical and practical parts), conclusions and a list of literature used. The first chapter is the theoretical part of the work, which covers topics such as the principles and aspects of the etymological analysis, as well as some of the problems associated with the semantics of these words. The second chapter is the practical part of the work, which includes etymological analysis of the Polish kobieta and Russian zhenschina, a description of the semantic relations of the same words, and an analysis of texts in which those words are used. The end of the work contains the findings of the research and a conclusion. In the conclusion, the work outlines the prospects of the study of this topic in the future

AbstractThis paper is devoted to integrated assessment of the alternative courses of action (objects) in the decision-making process. Expert investigation is frequently used method of comparison practical activities aspects. In some cases this method is only possible, as awareness about object behaviour can be obtained only from hands-on experience. Although attempts to create an automated system for obtaining expert evaluations to exclude the human factor are proceeding. In the paper comparison method used in getting criteria weights are described

Darbs sastāv no titullapas, anotācijas, ievada, 5 nodaļām, nobeiguma, pielikumiem, izmantotās literatūras saraksta. Pētījuma gaitā ir izstrādāti secinājumi un priekšlikumi. The present Master' s paper “ The Role of methodological work in the Improvement of the quality of Education ” investigates the influence of well – planned and organized methodological work on the quality of education. Työn tarkoituksena on selvittää miten venäläiset perheet sopeutuvat suomalaiseen kulttuuriin. Tämän työn tavoitteena on vähentää maahanmuuttajien syrjäytymisriskiä ja pohtia ennakkoluuloja ja stereotypioita venäläisiä kohtaan. Lisäksi tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on lisätä suomalaisten ymmärrystä venäläisperheitä kohtaan. The purpose of this project was to find out how Russian families integrate into Finnish society. The goal of this thesis was to decrease the risk of immigrants being excluded and change the stereotypes towards Russians. This project should also help to increase the wellbeing of Russian families through aiding those social workers in working with immigrants as well as developing and bringing new points of view into immigrant and child-protection working. The data for this project was based largely on observation, and by making notes during interviews to examine the experiences of Russian immigrants, including those of the author. It appears by the collected data that the Russian families in Finland suffer from the lack social networks, due in part to the loss of their own relatives as well as the exclusion from Finnish society. Also, the lack of communication between the authorities and Russian clients creates problems. Most of the Russian in Finland resort to using Russian welfare services in Russia

Identification Of Acoustic Parameters For Broiler Welfare Estimate

    No full text
Estimates of broiler welfare have subjective character. Nowadays, researchers seek non-invasive features or indicators that may describe this condition in animal production. The aim of this study was to identify acoustic parameters to estimate broiler welfare using the following five vocalization acoustic parameters: energy, spectral centroid, bandwidth, first formant, and second formant. The database that generated the model was obtained from a field experiment with 432 broilers, which half were Cobb® and half, Ross® breed, from day 21 to 42, containing bird vocalizations under either welfare or stress conditions. The results of the experiment generated responses to the tested conditions of gender, genetic strain, and welfare. The proposed model was based on the specific response of mean weights for each situation of stress and well-being. From the results, a model was developed to estimate the welfare condition of broilers from the registered information linked to their vocalization.343413421Baker, T.M., Wilson, D.R., Mennill, D.J., Vocal signals predict attack during aggressive interactions in black-capped chickadees (2012) Animal Behaviour, 84 (4), pp. 965-974. , AmsterdamBroom, D.M., Fraser, A.F., Welfare assessment (2007) Domestic animal behaviour and welfare, pp. 58-69. , BROOM, D.
