A dolgozat alapvető kutatási célja a Hajdú-Bihar megyében működő olyan családi gazdaságok vizsgálata, amelyek családi munka és tőkeerőt mozgósítanak a mezőgazda¬sági termelés érdekében, azaz családi gazdaságként működnek. A helyzetelemzés eredményeire valamint a vizsgálatba bevont kettőszáz gazdálkodó véleményére támaszkodva megpróbáltunk jövőképet felvázolni. A vizsgálat során a gazdaságok jellemzőit, a működési feltételeit, jövedelemtermelésének és felhasználásának jellemzőit, külső kapcsolatait, valamint a gazdaságok információ forrásait kívántuk feltérképezni valamint a közöttük lévő összefüggéseket feltárni. Ezzel párhuzamosan az empirikus kutatások segítségévek pótolni kívántuk a relatíve nagy információ hiányt ami a gazdálkodói kört és gazdálkodásának körülményeit mozgató rugóinak ismeretét jellemzi a megyében és országosan egyaránt. A kutatás során többek között a következő kérdésekre kerestük a választ: Milyenek a gazdálkodás körülményei a megyében? Hogyan, milyen forrásokból fejlesztik, illetve bővítik a gazdaságukat? Milyen humán tényezők játszik szerepet a gazdálkodásban? The main aim of this research work is to study farms in Hajdú-Bihar County, that mobilize labour and capital for the sake of agricultural production, namely family farms. During this study work we tried to chart the main characters, the conditions of functioning, their profitability and its use possibilities, their external contacts and the resource of information of these farms, beside this to investigate the relationships between these parameters. Parallel to this we tried to compensate the relatively high deficiency of information by empirical research work. This deficiency is the characterization of farmers and the inducement of farming and its conditions both on the level of county and state. By our empirical research work we have made a comprehensive position paper that shows the conditions of farms and farmer populations, as well. The number of filled out and evaluated questionnaires was 200. We tried to get answers to the following questions: What are the farming circumstances in the county? How and by which sources do farmers develop and extent their farms? Which human factors have a role in farming? How do farmers see their own future, what kind of aims do they have? Who will stop and who will go on producing? The collected information on the whole may help to make much more flexible legislatives and administrative regulations, although the survey covered only one county

Finding the burial place of King Béla III and Anne of Antioch in 1848

On 5 December 1848, the grave of the first, and so far the last, royal couple whose identity was confirmed with certainty – by common consent – was found in Székesfehérvár. We should also add that this was the last proven burial of a ruler of the Árpád dynasty in the capital of the royal house (since the burial place of the child László III, who died in 1205, is unknown). The finds were, and still are, interesting, not only because they were undisturbed: neither conquerors nor treasure hunters had managed to rob the graves. This was also of particular importance from a historical and cultural history perspective, since János Érdy’s archaeological excavation method and the results are still considered exemplary by his scientific successors. It was the excavation and the interest generated around it that led scientists to investigate the person, age, historical role and greatness of Béla III, and the excavation is the only source from which we know about the representation of the ruler in death. The original state of the king’s grave and the other graves in the vicinity can be reconstructed from the excavation documentation, such as the drawings made by János Varsányi on site (although Varsányi himself drew the queen’s grave based on the accounts of those on site, after the outer coffin had been opened before his arrival). Admittedly after many ups and downs, the royal skeletons discovered became the subject of study by generations of Hungarian anthropologists. In 1935, Lajos Bartucz expressed the importance of re-examining all the bones that had been discovered by that time: “They will shed some light on the inheritance of certain anthropological stamps in the family of the Árpáds.” It is fitting and just that the finds of the graves discovered in 1848, six hundred years later, are now at the centre of archaeogenetic studies

Gencsy Béla egyházvezetői tevékenységének főbb irányvonalai az államszocializmus idején

Béla Gencsy was the head of the Transcarpathian Reformed Church for thirty years. Although four decades have passed since his death (1982), neither his activity as a church leader and as a minister, nor his life has been revealed up to now. This fact encouraged the author to investigate the main directions of Béla Gencsy’s activity as a church leader, based on the contemporary documents of his activity as a moderator, then as a dean and finally as a bishop. In addition, the author sought to go beyond the one-sided characterization made of him as a church leader and to show the contradictory mechanisms of the possibilities defined by the given era and space, that determined not only the church leader’s activity, but also that of the Reformed parishes in Transcarpathia. The present study covers the period between 1949 and 1978. Because of the current state of research and the criteria set out, a primary source study was carried out based mostly on archival documents. The surviving contemporary documents revealed an ambivalent trajectory emerging from Béla Gencsy’s activity as a church leader. On the one hand, it is clear that he always and in any case wanted to observe and enforce the Soviet religious laws. On the other hand, his actions and reactions were steps taken in a give-and-take system, in return for which the bishop was granted the opportunity to raise and/or solve issues that had not been addressed before

    Get PDF
This thesis discusses the violin works of the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók. The first chapter delves into Béla Bartók's biography, allowing the violin compositions to be placed within the context of his various life periods. The biographical information is primarily drawn from the latest and most comprehensive biography of Béla Bartók by the Slovak author Tibor Tallián, published in 2012. The thesis briefly mentions Bartók's early violin compositions, transcriptions of his piano works for violin, and chamber compositions that include the violin. The core of the thesis comprises chapters analyzing Bartók's violin compositions that are part of the standard violin repertoire. These works include two violin concertos, two sonatas for violin and piano, two rhapsodies for violin and piano, and the Sonata for Solo Violin. In the chapters dedicated to these compositions, the thesis provides a general introduction and historical context for each piece, a formal analysis supplemented with musical excerpts for easier orientation, and interesting recordings available for listening. The aim of the thesis is to offer readers a basic overview and information about Béla Bartók's violin works, to help them better understand and navigate these compositions, and potentially to expedite their study of these pieces
