Dziewica, Panna i epitety synonimiczne Matki Bożej w pieśniach kościelnych
The author reminds the dogma of Mary’s virginity from the universality of education and its solemn formulation by I Lateran Synod in 649. The author evokes the names: Wirginia and Werginia, derived from Latin noun virgo, –inis ‘a virgin’, Parteniusz and Partenia (in East Slavic nations Parfien and Parfieński) from Greek equivalent parthénos, surnames Dziewa, Dziewulski, Panna, Panienka, Panieński and similar, the name of the US state Wirginia. The author also reminds the appellations from the ancient mythology: Parthénos of Athena, Virgo of Minerva, Virginalis of Juno. Titles of the Mother of God: Dziewica, Panna, Panienka and their synonymous equivalents are supported by the quotations from church songs taken from “Church Songbook” by Jan Siedlecki.Autor przypomniał dogmat o dziewictwie Maryi, Matki Syna Bożego z powszechności nauczania i jego uroczyste sformułowanie przez I synod laterański w r. 649, przywołał imiona: Wirginia i Werginia, pochodne od łac. rzeczownika virgo, -inis ‘dziewica’, Parteniusz i Partenia (u narodów wschodniosłowiańskich Parfien i Parfieński) od gr. odpowiednika parthénos, nazwiska Dziewa, Dziewulski, Panna, Panienka, Panieński i podobne, nazwę stanu USA Wirginia. Poetic Supplications for "Panna na Wydaniu”
The subject of the deliberations in this dissertation are occasional poems of two Enlightenment poets, written after putting on a comedy Panna na wydaniu in one of Warsaw school theatres (probably in 1770). The aim of the works analysis is the depiction of artistic values and presenting literary-genres which were adapted by both writers who aimed requests for the publication of this work to the author of this, Duke Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski. A characterization of these poems is set in the context of comments on kinds and function of recommended statements (by poem and prose) printed in books of XVI and XVII century and in Enlightenment prints
Mr. Vynnyčenko’s Idle Hours of the Year 1918, or: The Art of Inoffensiveness (Panna Mara)
1918 was a fateful year for Ukrainian nation builders, but also for Socialist Vynnyčenko, who since mid-1917 had tried to accredit the autonomy statute of the Central Rada through laborious – and finally abortive – negotiations with the Russian and Bolshevik governments. The comedy Panna Mara(Miss Mara) that Vynnyčenko jotted down in early 1918 in order to kill the boredom of one of his many railway trips between Kiev and Moscow, later appeared to him as an “inane little play” – a judgement which the present paper intends to challenge. Starting off as a satire of bourgeois life under revolutionary rule, Panna Marasoon quits the satirical mode. The scenic representation of rural Ukraine resulting from this shift is not downright idyllic; but the communication between the dramatis personae(and, especially, the encounter between owners and have-nots) shuns away from class struggle so definitely as to remind the spectator of a family concerned with solidarity only: in the world of Panna MaraUkraine is fundamentally reconciled with herself. The generic standards of comedy – the final restoration of harmony between people previously engaged in a harmless, amusing confrontation – coincide with a political program that Vynnyčenko, later in his life, designated as Concordism. This paper tries to show that Panna Maradiffers as much from the ingenuous solutions of this treatise as it avoids the bitter conclusions of Vynnyčenko’s book The Nation’s Renascence; the comedy addresses both the opening-up of modernity and the fraternal effort towards the nation. The play’s message, thus, is relevant to the literary scholar, but also to a politically enlightened public. The question of Ukrainian independence, controversial, nay, utopian in 1918, has found an unambiguous answer since the country, in the run-up to 2018, claimed an ultimate “farewell to the Empire”. Recent years, true, have shown that this parting could not be achieved like a short distance run, but it is clearly engaged. No one interested in the early moments of the ongoing ‘farewell’ will ignore Panna Mara– however “inane” the author himself may have considered his play.1918 was a fateful year for Ukrainian nation builders, but also for Socialist Vynnyčenko, who since mid-1917 had tried to accredit the autonomy statute of the Central Rada through laborious – and finally abortive – negotiations with the Russian and Bolshevik governments. Study of a Newly Discovered Microliths and Rock Art Site, Badedev Rakseha at Panna District of Madhya Pradesh, India
The literary data revealed that the Panna district of Madhya Pradesh has not been explored extensively in the context of prehistoric archaeology. Therefore, present study is considered, keeping in view for the same. For this purpose, a systematic exploration of Panna district was conducted during seasons 2019–20. After exploration, a rock art and microliths assemblage site, Badedev (24°45’41.80” N 80°17’2.73”E), Rakseha was discovered at Panna district by the first author and recovered around 500 Microliths assemblages and 02 rock shelters with depiction of paintings. The major type of microliths artefacts identified are; core, flake, blade, bladelets, scraper, lunate, borer, burin, points, triangle, and debris. The typo-technological and morphological analyses of assemblages revealed that various types of stone artefacts used by prehistoric group of this area were made on locally available raw material and they have a sound knowledge of durability of raw material used for tool making, as we have identified more than 36% and 30% of agate and quartz type of microliths respectively among the whole artifacts collected, as both of these are hard as well as durable type of stones. Remains of microliths assemblages and debitage stone material also certified that Badedev prehistoric site was a tool manufacturing site at this area. In rock paintings, themes are most dominantly zoomorphic figurine, human figurine, handprints, and geometric and non-geometric design. For detail study of pictographs DStretch software was utilized. On the basis of rock art style, color, composition, technique, theme, subject matter; motifs such as hunting scenes and large number of animal groups, it is assumed that this site was inhabited by hunter-gatherer group. Finally we are in position to say that the discovery of prehistoric site Badedev Rakseha enhanced our knowledge about the prehistoric culture of central Indian region

Designing Wireless Sensor Networks: from theory to applications
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are having a dramatic impact on the way surrounding environment is being monitored. In this article, many underlying design issues of WSNs have been summarized, starting from the coverage and the connectivity. As batteries provide energy to sensor nodes, effective ways of power conservation are considered. Advantages of placing sensors in a regular pattern have also been discussed and various tradeoffs for many possible ways of secured communication in a WSN are summarized. Challenges in deploying WSN for monitoring CO emission are briefly covered. Potential use of sensors in many different fields are also discussed, including an exact boundary detection of a wild forest fire. Finally, the use of sensors is illustrated in automatically generating music based on dancers’ movements.Conference PaperPre-prin
