Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pemahaman pihak sekolah mengenai
konsep gender dan konsep pendidikan adil gender, (2) pengimplementasian pendidikan adil
gender oleh guru di sekolah, (3) kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam proses pengimplementasian
pendidikan adil gender.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. Bentuk penelitan adalah penelitian
kualitatif dengan strategi pendekatan studi kasus tunggal terpancang. Sumber data berasal dari
para guru dan siswa SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. Sampling diambil dengan teknik purposive
sampling yang dilakukan dengan memilih informan yang dianggap mengetahui informasi dan
masalah yang hendak diteliti secara mendalam dan dapat dipercaya untuk menjadi sumber data
yang mantap sehingga kemungkinan pilihan informan dapat berkembang sesuai dengan
kebutuhan dan kemantapan peneliti dalam memperoleh data. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan
observasi dan wawancara mendalam yang dilakukan dengan para guru serta siswa SMA Negeri 6
Surakarta. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data menggunakan teknik
analisis interaktif yakni dengan tahapan sebagai berikut : reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan
kesimpulan dan verifikasi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan : (1) pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh
informan sebagai pendidik dan siswa tentang konsep gender dan konsep pendidikan adil gender
sangat beragam terutama bagi para pendidik, (2) hampir semua pemahaman yang dikemukakan
oleh informan mengenai konsep gender cenderung mengacu pada jenis kelamin serta konsep
pendidikan adil gender mengacu pada adil dalam hal kuantitas saja, sehingga pendidikan adil
gender merupakan pendidikan yang adil dalam hal kuantitas atau jumlah saja, (3) implementasi
pendidikan adil gender belum diterapkan di SMAN 6 Surakarta, (4) program pemerintah yang
berupa pengarusutamaan gender (PUG) di bidang pendidikan belum terlaksana di SMA N 6
Surakarta

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model make a match dengan media grafis; (2) meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang perjuangan melawan penjajah; (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi pada penerapan model make a match dengan media grafis dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPS tentang perjuangan melawan penjajah pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Pandansari tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan lima kali pertemuan yang meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SDN 1 Pandansari yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu siswa dan guru kelas V SDN 1 Pandansari. Teknik pengumpulan data mengggunakan teknik tes dan nontes (observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi). Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) langkah-langkah penerapan model make a match dengan media grafis, yaitu: (a) penjelasan tujuan pembelajaran dan materi yang dibantu dengan media grafis; (b) mempersiapkan kartu; (c) pembagian kelompok; (d) penjelasan aturan make a match; (e) pembagian kartu; (f) pengaktifan siswa, (g) presentasi kelompok dengan media grafis; (h) penilaian oleh kelompok penilai; dan (i) konfirmasi dan kesimpulan; (2) penerapan model make a match dengan media grafis dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang perjuangan melawan penjajah, terbukti adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I = 52,38%, siklus II = 85,25%, dan siklus II = 90,00%; (3) kendala dalam penerapan model make a match dengan media grafis yaitu siswa kurang berani bertanya, guru kurang membimbing siswa ketika mencari pasangan kartu, siswa kurang memerhatikan penjelasan aturan make a match, siswa kurang percaya diri untuk memberikan tanggapan, dan siswa kurang terlibat aktif saat menyimpulkan materi. Solusi dari kendala tersebut yaitu guru memberikan motivasi dan penghargaan kepada siswa yang berani bertanya, mengarahkan guru agar lebih membimbing siswa saat mencari pasangan, guru memberikan teguran dangan mengarahkan siswa untuk memerhatikan penjelasan dari guru, guru memberikan motivasi dan penghargaan kepada siswa yang berani memberikan tanggapan, dan guru membimbing siswa saat menyimpulkan materi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model make a match dengan media grafis dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang perjuangan melawan penjajah pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Pandansari tahun ajaran 2016/2017. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps on the use of make a match model using graphic media; (2) to improve the learning of IPS about perjuangan melawan penjajah; (3) to describe problems and solutions on the use of make a match model using graphic media in improving the learning of IPS about perjuangan melawan penjajah for fifth grade students of SDN 1 Pandansari in the academic year of 2016/2017. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles and five meetings. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 22 students of the fifth grade of SDN 1 Pandansari.. Sources of data were derived from students, teacher, and observer. Techniques of collecting data were learning outcomes test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. The results of this research show that: (1) the steps on the use of make a match model using graphic media, namely: (a) explaining the objectives of the learning and materials using graphic media, (b) preparing cards, (c) grouping, (d) explaining the rule of make a match, (e) distributing cards, (f) students activation, (g) group presentation using graphic media, (h) scoring by the scoring group, and (i) confirming and drawing conclusion; (2) the use of make a match model using graphic media can improve the learning of IPS about perjuangan melawan penjajah. It was proven by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 52,38%, in the second cycle 85,25%, and in the third cycle 90,00%; (3) the problems encountered in the learning, namely: (a) students were afraid to ask, (b) teacher was not guiding students sufficiently during match making, (c) students did not pay attention to the rule of make a match, (d) students felt not confident to ask and answer question, and (e) students were not actively involved in the material. Solutions of these problems are: (a) teacher gives motivation and reward to students who dare to ask, (b) teacher guides students in choosing the pair mates, (c) teacher gives warning and tell students to pay attention on explanation, (d) teacher gives motivation and reward to students who dare to comment, and (e) teacher guides students when drawing conclusion. The conclusion of this research is the use of make a match model using graphic media can improve the learning of IPS about perjuangan melawan penjajah for fifth grade students of SDN 1 Pandansari in the academic year of 2016/2017. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
