No full textIsang pag-aaral ito tungkol sa Imahen ni Darna at ang imahen ng mga babaeng bayani sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas. Nakasentro ang pag-aaral na ito kay Darna na ipinalabas sa Telebisyon noong 2005 ng GMA channel-7 at nakilala ito sa tawag na Telefantasya. Nilayon ng pag-aaral na bigyang-pagpapakahulugan ang imahen ni Darna kaugnay sa imahen ng Babaeng bayani sa kasaysayan. Ginamit ang semiotics na pagdulog sa pag-aaral na ito dahil ito ang nakapagbigay kahulugan sa mga imahen na sinisimbolo ni Darna sa lipunan.
Sa resulta ng pag-aaral, natukoy ang pananaw ng babae sa kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng kanilang pakikipaglaban sa mga dayuhan upang makamit ang kalayaan. Paggawa ng kabutihan hindi lang sa sariling kapakanan ngunit para sa ikabubuti ng lahat ng tao sa lipunan.
Pinatunayan sa pag-aaral na ito na iisa ang imahen ni Darna at ang mga babaeng bayani sa kasaysayan. Naiiba si Darna sa mga bayani dahil sa kanyang anting-anting. Gayundin sa kanyang mga kaaway na may mahiwagang kapangyarihan hindi tulad sa mga naunang bayaning babae sa kasaysayan na pawang mga dayuhan ang kalaban. Napatunayan sa pag-aaral na ito na si Darna ay isang representasyon ng babaeng Filipina
Motinos ir kūdikio santykių darna
No full textTyrimo tikslas - įvertinti motinos ir kūdikio santykių darną bei jos komponentų sąsajas salutogenezės požiūriu. Metodai ir tirtųjų kontingentas: Motinos ir kūdikio darnos testas suformuluotas remiantis nepilna (13 klausimų) A. Antonovsky (1987 m.) vidinės darnos jausmo (SOC-Sense of Coherance) skale, kurią sudaro trys komponentai: suprantamumo, kontroliavimo ir prasmingumo jausmai. Tyrimui atrinktos motinos, kurios tyrimo metu augino šešių mėnesių (± 2 sav.) kūdikius. Pagal įrašus registracijos knygose išrašymo iš ligoninės metu parinkti sveiki, išnešioti naujagimiai, gimę 2000 m. spalio-lapkričio mėnesiais devyniuose įvairių Lietuvos miestų gimdymo namuose. Klausimynai paštu išsiųsti 1000 motinų. Gauta 460 anoniminių atsakymų. Atsako dažnis-46,0 proc. Statistinė analizė atlikta taikant SPSS for Windows 10.0. Rezultatai: Taikant Reliability analysis procedūrą, apskaičiuotas testo vidinio patikimumo Cronbach koeficientas a = 0,78. Testas laikytas patikimu. Tyrimas parodė, jog motinos ir kūdikio santykių darna bei atskiri jos komponentai (prasmingumas, suprantamumas, kontroliavimas) siejasi su motinos amžiumi, vaikų skaičiumi šeimoje, išsilavinimu. Vyresnių motinų darna stiprėja (p < 0,01), stipresni ir prasmingumo (p < 0,01), suprantamumo (p < 0,05), kontroliavimo (p < 0,01) komponentai. Didėjantis vaikų skaičius šeimoje taip pat stiprina darną (p < 0,01), suprantamumą (p < 0,01) bei kontroliavimą (p < 0,01). Išvados: Motinos ir kūdikio santykių darna bei jos komponentai (prasmingumas, suprantamumas, kontroliavimas) siejasi su motinos amžiumi, vaikų šeimoje skaičiumi. No full textGenus Darna Walker, 1862 Darna Walker, 1862, J. Proc. Linn. Soc. (Zool.) 6: 174. Type species: Darna plana Walker, 1862, by monotypy. Note. The genus includes middle-sized, being at least partly pale dull orange or pinkish orange moths. The male antennae are bipectinate till to the tip. The forewings are triangular in shape, with black discal spot and dark, not well defined, external fascia. The hind wings are pale. The tibial spurs are 0-2-4. The larvae are of the nettle-type. The male genitalia are diagnostic: the uncus is divided into two balloon-shaped parts, thickly covered with rows of scales; the gnathos is very slender and hook-shaped; the costal process in valva is a single flexed spine or with an apical patch of setae. Darna : a Lithuanian Pagan approach to life
No full textOnline ISSN 1743-1735Pagans constitute a minority of long standing in society; even in Lithuania, the last state of Europe to be Christianized, they’ve endured for over six hundred years. This persistence probably indicates that the movement meets certain religious and spiritual needs in society, but may also reflect something about how Pagans function as a movement. Here we report an ethnographic investigation of a Pagan group in Lithuania where we find evidence for a Pagan ideological influence on the movement’s organizational functioning. These Pagans not only seek inspiration in their national heritage and folklore but in the concept of darna, which relates to harmony, morality, honor, and fruitfulness. Thisarticle analyzes two filmsmade in the 1970s that revolved around the female superhero Darna, usingtrauma and memory as frameworks. Power Darna Distribution with Right Censoring: Estimation, Testing, and Applications
No full textThe current paper proposes a new three-parameter probability distribution, called power Darna distribution (PDD), as an extension to the Darna distribution. An extra parameter is added to the base model and aims to increase the flexibility of the model in fitting various real data sets. Different statistical properties as reliability functions, hazard functions, and reversed hazard rate functions are obtained. Additionally, the shapes of the model, moments, inverse moments, and quantile function are derived and discussed. The distribution functions of order statistics from the PDD and moments of the smallest and largest order statistics are presented and a simulation study is conducted for explanation. An estimation of the parameters of PDD based on maximum likelihood estimation is presented. Finally, to demonstrate the PDD applicability in real life situations, a right-censored data set of carcinogenic DMBA in the vaginas of rats is considered and analyzed

No full textThe present study was designed to examine the relationship between Lithuanian students’ religious beliefs, sense of coherence and well being (n=132). The study revealed some significant interactions between these variables, and is consistent with works of many authors. A significant correlation was found between students’ negative psychological well being and belief in punishing God. Similarly, a significant correlation was found between belief in punishing God and negative physical well being. Lithuanian students’ belief in punishing God was found to be significantly negatively related to the students’ sense of coherence. However, conversely to some studies, no significant correlations were found between sense of coherence and belief in personal relationship with God. A significant strong negative correlation was observed between students’ negative psychological well being and sense of coherence. In the same way, a significant correlation was found between students’ sense of coherence and negative physical well being.Straipsnyje analizuojamas religingumo, vidinės darnos ir savijautos ryšys, naujausios tyrimų tendencijos visuomenės sveikatos ir religijos psichologijoje, aptariami Lietuvos studentų (n = 132) tyrimo rezultatai. Šis tyrimas parodė, kad tikėjimas baudžiančiu, griežtu Dievu yra statistiškai reikšmingai neigiamai susijęs su studentų vidine darna, psichologine bei fizine savijauta, ir priešingai, tikėjimas Dievo rūpestingumu reikšmingai teigiamai susijęs su psichologine savijauta, nors nenustatyta jo statistiškai reikšminga koreliacija su vidine darna. Šiuo tyrimu taip pat nustatytas statistiškai reikšmingas teigiamas psichologinės bei fizinės savijautos ir vidinės darnos ryšys, nors ryšys su psichologine savijauta pasirodė esąs statistiškai reikšmingesnis nei ryšys su fizine savijauta. Tyrimo duomenų pagrindu straipsnyje pateikiamos praktinės rekomendacijos, formuluojami naujų tyrimų klausimai

Skripsi ini membahas tentang siri‟ dalam budaya Bugis Makassar. Jenis penelitian
yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui
representasi nilai siri‟ Suku Bugis Makassar dalam film uang panai‟. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, observasi dilakukan dengan
cara menonton dan mengamati adegan-adegan dan dialog dalam film uang panai‟.
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis konten dengan
menggunakan teori analisis naratif oleh Tzvetan Todorov untuk mendeskripsikan
atau menggambarkan objek yang sedang diteliti melalui data-data yang telah
terkumpulkan yang kemudian dapat ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukkan bahwa representasi nilai siri‟ yang terkandung dalam film uang
panai‟adalah bentuk kerja keras dan sikap pantang menyerah untuk mencapai
keinginan yang ingin dimilki oleh seorang laki-laki Bugis, di samping itu budaya
siri‟ sangat mewarnai kehidupan masyarakat Bugis, siri‟ menjadi tatanan nilai dan
norma yang menjadi tolak ukur perilaku manusia yang baik, sedangkan uang
panai‟ merupakan bentuk budaya perkawinan yang memberikan pemahaman arti
kerja keras dan bentuk penghormatan atau penghargaan seorang laki-laki terhadap
perempuan.
