Dibimbing oleh Rusdiah Iskandar selaku dosen pembimbing I dan Musviyanti selaku dosen pembimbing II.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kinerja keuangan PT Federal International Finance pada tahun 2013, 2014, 2015 dan 2016 dengan menggunakan pendekatan Economic Value Added (EVA). Standar penilaian kinerja keuangan perusahaan dengan metode EVA adalah jika perusahaan mempunyai EVA>0 maka telah terjadi nilai tambah pada perusahaan, sebaliknya jika EVA<0 menunjukkan tidak terjadi proses nilai tambah pada perusahaan dan nilai EVA=0 menunjukkan posisi impas perusahaan.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menganalisis laporan keuangan menggunakan data kuantitatif yaitu laporan keuangan berupa laporan posisi keuangan dan laporan laba rugi komprehensif yang diolah dari Laporan Keuangan Tahunan PT Federal International Finance. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode Economic Value Added (EVA) dengan menghitung Net Operating Profit After Tax (NOPAT), Capital Charges, Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) dan Invested Capital.Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode Economic Value Added (EVA) pada PT Federal International Finance tahun 2013, 2014, 2015 dan 2016 menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan nilai EVA pada PT Federal International Finance tahun 2013, 2014, 2015 dan 2016 bernilai positif atau memberikan nilai tambah pada perusahaan. PT Federal International Finance menghasilkan laba yang dapat memenuhi seluruh biaya kegiatan operasi dan seluruh biaya modal serta menciptakan nilai tambah ekonomis bagi perusahaan dengan memperhatikan nilai Economic Value Added (EVA) dapat membantu investor sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam melakukan investasi
Lithofacies and depositional environment spanning the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary on the New Jersey coastal plain
The sedimentary record spanning the Cretaceous-Paleogene (K/Pg) boundary was examined in outcrop and in seven cores recovered from a 50 km long transect along the outcrop belt on the New Jersey coastal plain. The objectives were to: (1) conduct a high-resolution study of the K/Pg lithofacies, (2) document spatial and temporal changes in composition and texture of the sediments, and (3) interpret any changes in the depositional environment across this important geological boundary when a mass extinctions occurred. Analyses include core description, textural, petrographic, microprobe, and XRD analyses. Five lithofacies were interpreted in the Upper Cretaceous sediments and three lithofacies were recognized from the lowermost Paleogene deposits. Microprobe studies show the chemistry of Upper Cretaceous and lowermost Paleogene glauconite are identical (~7-8% K2O), but their color difference may suggest different redox condition. XRD analyses show the Upper Cretaceous clay contains more land-derived detritus than the lowermost Paleogene clay. The following sequence of events is interpreted from the sediment record spanning the K/Pg boundary: (1) deposition in near-shore setting and slow sedimentation in middle shelf when sea level was falling, albeit still shelfal depth; (2) deposition of K/Pg lithofacies when sea level was falling possibly creating a diastem but not a sequence boundary, per se; (3) a transgression above the K/Pg boundary; and (4) deposition in middle shelf possibly with decreased ocean productivity and a more reducing environment. There is no sedimentological evidence above the K/Pg boundary, suggesting tsunami-related deposition associated with a bolide impact. Either a tsunamite was eliminated by bioturbation, or NJCP was too far from the impact site to be affected. A transgressive lag, instead, was formed by normal sedimentation during the subsequent transgression in the early Paleocene.M.S.Includes bibliographical referencesby Hendra Wahyud

ABSTRACT OCCUPATION HEALTHINESS AND SAFETY IMPLEMENTATION ANALYSIS ON PT PATRA BUANA ABADI HENDRA DARMAWAN P.P F3512044 The purpose of this paper aims to determine the implementation of Health and Safety (K3) policy at PT Patra Buana Abadi which is engaged in the distribution of 3 kg LPG gas. Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a form of effort to create a safe, healthy, environment free workplace from environmental pollution so that it can protect and free from accidents in the end can increase efficiency and work productivity. The method of discussion used is descriptive method, that is giving systematic, factual, and accurate description about K3 application in gas agent PT Patra Buana Abadi. PT Patra Buana Abadi is one of LPG gas agent in solo city which become object of observation related to K3. Technique of collecting data using interview and direct observation method and supported by primary data from company. The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program in PT Patra buana Abadi is not maximized, due to lack of supervision and socialization of the company, and low awareness of employees to use Personal Protective Equipment (APD) in working and implementing Health and Safety Program policy (K3) in the company. Based on those analyses, the writer gave suggestion for the company to give control and socialization for the employees then the rewards for the best employees, so that can increase application of K3 policy. Kisah novel yang mencerminkan pengalaman penulis selama studi di Pondok Pesantren Darassalam Ponorogo, Jawa Timur pada tahun 1980. Madani Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan utama di dalam menunjukkan peran dalam membangun karakter siswa dengan mengintegrasikan modernitas dan ajaran Islam pada saat yang sama .Fuady mencoba untuk menunjukkan model yang baik tentang bagaimana lembaga pendidikan (Madani Pondok Pesantren) dapat mendidik siswa untuk meningkatkan perkembangan pribadi mereka. Madani Pondok Pesantren memiliki sistem pendidikan yang baik dan tegas untuk bertanggung jawab atas perilaku siswa-nya dari dasar sampai dengan akhir proses pembelajaran.Artikel ini menganalisa peran Madani Pondok Pesantre dalam mengembangkan siswa bangunan karakter. penulis memperoleh beberapa temuan dari novel Negeri Lima Menara pada bagaimana pondok pesantren madani berhasil bisa mendidik siswa untuk memiliki karakter yang baik dengan mengoptimalkan peran guru sebagai motivator dan model yang baik bagi siswa; membangun ikatan emosional antara guru dan siswa; dan memberikan kesadaran dan nilai-nilai moral kepada siswa.</p
Analysis of Hendra Virus Fusion Protein N-Terminal Transmembrane Residues
Hendra virus (HeV) is a zoonotic enveloped member of the family Paramyoxviridae. To successfully infect a host cell, HeV utilizes two surface glycoproteins: the attachment (G) protein to bind, and the trimeric fusion (F) protein to merge the viral envelope with the membrane of the host cell. The transmembrane (TM) region of HeV F has been shown to have roles in F protein stability and the overall trimeric association of F. Previously, alanine scanning mutagenesis has been performed on the C-terminal end of the protein, revealing the importance of β-branched residues in this region. Additionally, residues S490 and Y498 have been demonstrated to be important for F protein endocytosis, needed for the proteolytic processing of F required for fusion. To complete the analysis of the HeV F TM, we performed alanine scanning mutagenesis to explore the residues in the N-terminus of this region (residues 487–506). In addition to confirming the critical roles for S490 and Y498, we demonstrate that mutations at residues M491 and L492 alter F protein function, suggesting a role for these residues in the fusion process
