Notes — Duarte (1973) indicated the gathering Duarte 9387 from the herbarium RB in the protologue of A. formosanum. La filosofía del derecho de Alexandre Kojève
No full textThis article is a presentation of Alexandre Kojève’s philosophy of law, exposed in his Esquisse d’une phénoménologie du droit (1981). Little attention has been paid to this work. So there is a gap that has to be filled with a critical reflection of its strengths. Among them, undoubtedly, we count the fact that Kojève is introducing a conception of international justice that casts a singular light on current debates about cosmopolitanism and globalization. According to this author, citizenship is the key element of the process of global expansion of the juridical sphere. In sum, Kojève’s philosophy is useful to reflect upon the contrast between the juridical and the political, which is the basis for all philosophy of law, in order to achieve world peace and international justice.Este artículo es una presentación de la filosofía del derecho de Alexandre Kojève contenida en su Esquisse d’une phénoménologie du droit (1981). La poca atención que dicha obra ha recibido es un vacío que debiera llenarse con una reflexión crítica de sus puntos fuertes. Entre ellos destaca una concepción de la justicia internacional que proyecta una luz muy singular sobre los actuales debates en torno a la globalización y el cosmopolitismo. A ojos de este autor, la ciudadanía es el elemento clave para aquilatar la expansión global de lo jurídico. En suma, Kojève aparece como un valioso referente en la labor de pensar la contraposición entre lo jurídico y lo político que está en la base de toda filosofía del derecho, con la aspiración al logro de la justicia internacional y la paz mundial en el horizonte

No full textEste artigo apresenta-se como produto das análises parciais da pesquisa de pós-doutoramento desenvolvida no âmbito do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) e está integrado à proposta intitulada "Observatório da Educação Básica: impactos da pandemia sobre o direito à educação e a reconfiguração do trabalho docente", contemplada pela chamada no 12/2021 da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Ele representa uma análise inicial embasada na revisão da literatura e busca dar contornos iniciais ao debate em relação aos impactos da pandemia da COVID-19 sobre a realização do direito à educação no Brasil, a partir da leitura de alguns dos principais trabalhos e pesquisas desenvolvidos entre 2020 e 2021 e da perspectiva teórica que autores como Cury (2021) e outros apresentam. A produção científica do período recente sugere um alargamento do histórico fosso de disparidades do país. A Pandemia da COVID-19 expôs as fragilidades dos sistemas econômicos e educacionais em todo mundo, no entanto, na região mais desigual do planeta, tais debilidades se distribuem de formas muito distintas no seio da sociedade, com especial impacto sobre as classes populares, indivíduos pretos e pardos, mulheres e outras minorias.Fil: Duarte, Alexandre. III International Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Genetics - book of abstracts

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the III International Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Genetics, held in Évora on the 27th and 28th of June 2022. We have put together a two-day program, organised in five different sessions and focused on encouraging scientific discussion.
As in the previous editions, this Meeting is dedicated those who work or are interested in the different areas of Genetics. The program will reflect the diversity of subjects within Genetics, with special focus on Animal Genetics, Plant Genetics, Microbial Genetics, Biomedical Genetics and Evolutionary Genetics. Invited speakers with outstanding careers will set the tone to a Meeting that we hope will be a great opportunity to present and discuss the latest advances in Genetics.
The III International Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Genetics (IMPSG) will take place at an Auditorium located at the most emblematic building of the University of Évora, the Colégio Espírito Santo.
The organizing committee, on behalf of the University of Évora and of the Portuguese Society of Genetics, welcomes researchers and also students working in the field of Genetics to this two-day Meeting, in which we will get back to the interactions of an in-person meeting, sharing experiences and knowledge, and enjoying the scientific atmosphere of Évora.
Finally, we wish to thank the scientific committee for their key role in many important aspects of this meeting. On the Stability of the Wealth Effect
No full textEvidence of instability of the wealth effect in the USA is presented through the estimation of a Markov switching model of the long-run aggregate consumption function. The dating of the regimes appears to bear relation to movements in asset prices. A model-based explanation of the findings is suggested, highlighting the importance of the short-run relation between consumption, income and wealth in explaining the estimated long-run coefficients.Parameter instability, Markov switching, Consumption, Wealth effect.

Duarte de Carvalho parte do estudo da peça de William Shakespeare intitulada A
tempestade para verificar, segundo uma perspectiva pós-colonial, a abordagem da
colonização nas narrativas do escritor angolano Ruy Duarte de Carvalho.
Publicadas após a independência de Angola, nelas a experiência da colonização
não se mostra como um processo plenamente findado, visto que suas marcas
ecoam no presente. Assim, Próspero e Caliban (personagens da peça
shakespeariana considerados, a partir da década de 1950, como respectivos
símbolos do colonizador e do colonizado) e a simbologia da tempestade são aqui
teoricamente retomados na tentativa de elucidar os novos impasses vivenciados
após a descolonização angolana. Para se estabelecer a aproximação entre a peça
de William Shakespeare e as narrativas de Ruy Duarte de Carvalho, levou-se em
conta o diálogo teórico proposto pelo autor angolano ao nomear sua trilogia como
Os Filhos de Próspero (aludindo ao processo de mestiçagem física e cultural
advindo da colonização), bem como a recorrência temática da tempestade em sua
criação artística. Nesta Tese, além das narrativas que compõem a trilogia Os
filhos de Próspero – Os papeis do inglês (2000), As paisagens propícias (2005) e
A terceira metade (2009) –, são também analisadas as obras Como se o mundo

Project analyses, upon a post colonial point of view, William Shakespeares play
entitled The Tempest, to verify the colonization approach in the narratives of the
Angolan writer Ruy Duarte de Carvalho. Published after the independence of
Angola, these works dont show the colonization experience as a fully complete
process since its traces reverberate in the present time. Thus, Prospero and
Caliban (Shakespearean characters considered after the 1950s as respective
symbols of the colonizer and the colonized) and the tempest symbology are
theoretically discussed, in this research, to elucidate the new obstacles
experienced after the Angolan decolonization. To establish the approach between
Shakespeares play and Ruy Duarte de Carvalhoss narratives, the theoretical
dialog proposed by the Angolan author naming his trilogy as Os filhos de
Próspero (referring to the physical and cultural miscegenation process as a result
of the colonization) was considered as well as the tempest thematic recurrence in
his artistic creation. In this thesis, besides the narrations that set Os filhos de
Próspero – Os papeis do inglês (2000), As paisagens propícias (2005) e A
terceira metade (2009) –, Como se o mundo não tivesse leste (1977), Vou lá

No full textPartimos da evolução histórica do consensualismo contratual salientando os
principais carateres que, nos diversos momentos históricos, se foram evidenciando.
Numa segunda etapa exploramos os fundamentos dogmáticos do modelo de
transmissão contratual assumido pelo legislador e a sua viabilidade no sistema
jurídico global, em particular, no direito dos valores mobiliários. Constatamos a
crescente necessidade na prática mercantil e inevitabilidade no sistema jurídico
global da admissibilidade da existência de contratos de compra e venda de natureza
meramente obrigacional. Num terceiro momento desenvolvemos os principais
aspetos do regime jurídico aplicável às ações tituladas nominativas fora do mercado
regulado, em particular, os principais limites à transmissão, enquanto instrumentos/barreiras ao consensualismo contratual.We start from the historical evolution of contractual consensualism emphasizing the
main aspects that, in different historical moments, were showing up. In a second
stage we explore the dogmatic foundations of the transmission model contractual
assumed by the legislator and its viability in the global legal system, in particular, in
securities law. We note the growing need in commercial practice and inevitability in
the global legal system the admissibility of the existence of contracts of sale purely
obligatory. In the third stage we develop the main aspects of the legal regime
applicable to nominative titled actions outside the regulated market, in particular,
the main limits to the transmission, as instruments / barriers to contractual
consensualism
