Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Labraq airport located in Labraq city , 25 km east of the Albetha in Libya
circle on the spin-off 27-21 north at its intersection with longitude 74-22 east longitude
and altitude of 650 m above sea level.
This airport built in 1967, a total value of 1,000,000 dollar US by a group Bethune
Syrian national and project manager Renaissance architecture.After the military coup
stoppedin 1986, the airport return as an airport of a civilian-military joint, and in 1996 it
has not been converted to a civilian airport only. The condition of Labraq airports
nowadays isold building or already 45 years, not modern,the small size of the passenger
terminal, administration, departure halls, reception rooms, security and baggage claim
conducted in one small building which causing obstruction of the work.
Theobjective of this study isto make design for reconstruction of the terminal
building for Labraq Libya airport to be more comfortable and more modern and to
quantitatively evaluate the characteristics of the terminal configurations. The secondary
data is taken by the official report of the Labraq airport that consists of data such as the
number of passengers, the number of airplane, seat capacity, periodical flight, parking
lot capacity for departure and arrival, width of terminal building, and the number of
employees.The other secondary data supporting this research are also downloaded from
internet which consists of population growth, economic growth, and growth of tourism
industry in Libya.
Therefore with the prediction in the next ten year thetotal passangers in 2020 will
two times the existing passangers.This means that minimum terminal bulding is about
two times the existing building. The new design is also already draw by considering all
the aspects i.e. the number of passengers and be more comfortable and more modern.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
No full textWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

the emerging Information Society. Furthermore, the various constraints to book
development were identified while the paper advised on how the Book Industry can be

No full textInternational audienceIn Le Fils Naturel, Dorval is portrayed as a weak agent with limited self-control, lacking in both initiative and efficiency. The aim here is to demonstrate how, while diagnosing the problem of action Dorval faces, Diderot’s play offers a practical solution adapted to his weaknesses. Manipulating wealth – understood as money and liquid assets – is the only technique available to Dorval to transform his attachments and feelings in line with moral and social values. This technique is borrowed from economic management and applied to morality.Dans le Fils Naturel, Dorval est un agent chroniquement faible, disposant d’un degré très limité de contrôle de soi, manquant d’initiative et d’efficacité. Il s’agira ici de montrer comment la pièce de Diderot, en même temps qu’elle fait le diagnostic du problème d’action auquel se heurte Dorval, propose une solution pratique adaptée à sa faiblesse d’agent. La manipulation marginale de la fortune – entendue comme l’argent et les avoirs liquides – est la seule technique dont dispose Dorval pour réaliser la transformation des attachements et des sentiments que la situation réclame au regard des valeurs morales et sociales.
