A poesia visual de Miguel de Frias: o universo da visualidade na poesia
No full textEsta pesquisa discute a trajetória da visualidade na poesia, tendo como foco principal as obras do artista Miguel de Frias. O trabalho buscou fontes de visualidade poética desde a Grécia Antiga, passando pelo movimento da Poesia Concreta, até a poesia visual da atualidade. Aborda com brevidade a história do design e como trabalha o profissional designer. Relaciona a construção do projeto de design gráfico e da poesia visual, mostrando até que ponto eles se aproximam e o que os distancia. Traz o conhecimento de um pouco da vida e trajetória profissional do artista Miguel de Frias, para chegar a suas poesias. Foram analisados seis poemas visuais do artista, com o olhar particular da autora. No full textEnrique Dussel ha dedicado los últimos 20 años de su labor intelectual a repensar la praxis política desde los oprimidos procurando superar las concepciones negativas del poder que según el autor han primado en toda la filosofía moderna. El clima teórico en el que Dussel ha abordado estos temas coincidió con la emergencia de corrientes que buscaron alternativas al neoliberalismo en la experiencia horizontal de los nuevos movimientos sociales, lo que llevó al autor a poner la cuestión clásica de la ?extinción del Estado? como uno de los ejes de sus intervenciones en el campo de la filosofía política.¿En qué sentido sigue teniendo validez, hoy, el planteo marxista de la disolución del Estado? En este trabajo exploramos las estrategias teóricas que emplea Dussel para formular dicho problema bajo nuevos términos. Así, a través del repaso por las categorías dusselianas, su concepción del poder, sus reflexiones en torno a la democracia y su insistencia en la riqueza analítica del concepto de pueblo intentamos rastrear las claves de lectura y las operaciones teóricas con que el autor retoma algunos de los tópicos del debate acerca de la relación entre Estado, democracia y luchas populares en el contexto del llamado capitalismo tardío.Enrique Dussel has spent the last 20 years of his intellectual work rethinking political praxis from the oppressed, trying to overcome the negative conceptions of power that according to the author have prevailed in all modern philosophy. The theoretical climate in which Dussel has addressed these issues coincided with the emergence of currents that sought alternatives to neoliberalism in the horizontal experience of the new social movements, which led the author to put the classic question of the "extinction of the State" as one of the axes of his interventions in the field of political philosophy. In what sense does the marxist proposal of the dissolution of the State continue to be valid today? In this paper we explore the theoretical strategies used by Dussel to formulate this problem under new terms. Thus, by reviewing the dusselian categories, their conception of power, their reflections on democracy and their insistence on the analytical richness of the concept of the people, we try to trace the reading keys and the theoretical operations with which the author it takes up some of the topics of the debate about the relationship between State, democracy and popular struggles in the context of the socalled "late capitalism".Fil: Frias, Javier Ignacio. No full textCancer treatment is greatly challenged by drug resistance, highlighting the need for novel drug discoveries. Here, we investigated novel organoarsenic compounds regarding their resistance-breaking and apoptosis-inducing properties in leukemia and lymphoma. Notably, the compound (2,6-dimethylphenyl)arsonic acid (As2) demonstrated significant inhibition of cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis in leukemia and lymphoma cells while sparing healthy leukocytes. As2 reached half of its maximum activity (AC50) against leukemia cells at around 6.3 µM. Further experiments showed that As2 overcomes multidrug resistance and sensitizes drug-resistant leukemia and lymphoma cell lines to treatments with the common cytostatic drugs vincristine, daunorubicin, and cytarabine at low micromolar concentrations. Mechanistic investigations of As2-mediated apoptosis involving FADD (FAS-associated death domain)-deficient or Smac (second mitochondria-derived activator of caspases)/DIABLO (direct IAP binding protein with low pI)-overexpressing cell lines, western blot analysis of caspase-9 cleavage, and measurements of mitochondrial membrane integrity identified the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway as the main mode of action. Downregulation of XIAP (x-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein) and apoptosis induction independent of Bcl-2 (B-cell lymphoma 2) and caspase-3 expression levels suggest the activation of additional apoptosis-promoting mechanisms. Due to the selective apoptosis induction, the synergistic effects with common anti-cancer drugs, and the ability to overcome multidrug resistance in vitro, As2 represents a promising candidate for further preclinical investigations with respect to refractory malignancies

No full textEsta tese parte da ideia de que a forma de Manuel António Pina pensar o biográfico, os temas comuns da poesia, encontra-se intimamente ligada ao modo como o autor pensa a linguagem e a trata. Dividi a tese, por necessidade do argumento, em duas partes − cada uma delas repartida em dois, às quais juntei uma conclusão. A primeira parte concerne a ligação entre as noções de infância e de tardio, nomeadamente no facto de a primeira se tratar, para o autor, “de uma segunda e mais perigosa infância”, infância em linguagem, onde uma coincidência não é possível e, em relação à qual, se é sempre tardio, se olha sempre do lado de fora. A segunda parte, de modo contíguo à primeira, procura colocar lado a lado as questões da morte (do “eu” e de o que o compõe nele) e da ironia, uma que é, linguisticamente, uma auto-ironia para com aquilo que usa como modo de falar e de dizer “eu”: as palavras e o que elas carregam consigo. São efectuadas considerações acerca da relação entre autoria e leitura. O conceito de casa, como trabalhado pelo autor, é sumulado e discutido na parte conclusiva.This thesis starts from the idea that Manuel António Pina’s way of thinking about the biographical, the common themes of poetry, is closely linked with the way the author thinks about language and treats it. I have divided the thesis, for the sake of argument, into two parts — each divided into two, to which I have added a conclusion. The first part concerns the connection between the notions of childhood and lateness, namely in the fact that the first is, for the author, “a second and more dangerous childhood”, childhood in language, where a coincidence is not possible and, in relation to which, if you are always late, you always look from the outside. The second part, contiguous to the first, seeks to put side by side the questions of death (of the “I” and what composes it in it) and irony, one that, linguistically, is a self-irony towards what it uses as a way of speaking and saying “I”: words and what they carry with them. Considerations are made about the relationship between authorship and reading. The concept of home, as worked by the author, is summarized and discussed in the concluding part

Haro, was one of the most influential Castilian aristocrats at the time of Charles V. He already is known as the author of two chronicles, one about the history of the Spanish kings and another about his own family’s history, the Velasco. This article identifies him as the author of a third chronicle about the Revolt of the Comuneros, the anonymous Relación del discurso de las Comunidades.
