TECNICA, NORMA E INDIVIDUALITÀ: CANGUILHEM NELL’ANTROPOCENE
The essay analyses some aspects of Canguilhem’s philosophy against the backdrop of the Anthropocene scenario. It focuses especially on three conceptual nodes. The first is technology. This is the central theme in Canguilhem’s 1973 lecture on ecology and, according to the author, the Leitmotiv of Canguilhemian philosophy. The second is philosophy of values and normativity. The author addresses the question of Canguilhemian perspectivism in an ecological key. The third is individuality: what “individual” means, and how to rethink the inter-individual relationship in the light of the social metaphors of
“organism” and “machine”. In the conclusion, the author addresses a philosophical issue that is central in reflections on ecology and the Anthropocene, namely the relationship between nature and culture
The cultural landscape of Matera-Basilicata 2019 through the literature of the past: a network project between culture and tourism of Basilicata's literary parks
There is a wide-ranging geographical and philosophical: Turri (1998) argues that landscape cannot be an entity in its own right; rather, it possesses an identity determined by human activity. Landscape is therefore a representation that results from an objective formulation of material reality and from the perceptual and subjective orientation of the eye. Literature made in Basilicata has allowed landscape to be reenvisioned and depicted, while contributing to the definition of some of its main characteristics .
At this particular moment in which the designation of Matera European Capital of Culture in 2019 is a "promesse du bonheur" for the Basilicata, the Region is developing a project to link Matera 2019 to a network of Basilicata literary parks with the aim of realizing an articulated widespread and integrated system of foundations and literary parks to enhance the opportunities for the tourism operators, for cultural tourism and the quality of life of the territories
Film routes in Basilicata
A classical definition of landscape is “nature perceived through a culture”. On the “historicity” of the landscape, some authors have underlined the cinema’s capacity to register the transformations of the territory and, at the same time, to direct the gaze on it. Since the end of the Second World War, the Basilicata region has been a film location; more than forty full length movies have been shot in Basilicata. Most of them, from The Gospel According to St. Matthew by Pier Paolo Pasolini to Christ stopped at Eboli by Francesco Rosi, have shown the misery and the backwardness of Basilicata, inspired by the works of some authors as Carlo Levi and Ernesto De Martino. In the last years, Basilicata has been the location of some worldwide box office hits: The Passion, Ben Hur, Wonder Woman. The paper presents a project of film routes, developed by Basilicata Region, Eni Enrico Mattei Foundation, Gal Bradanica, and Osservatorio del Cineturismo aiming at make available the cinematic landscapes.
Delio Tessa’s pages as records · The paper focuses on the use of translation in Delio Tessa’s Milanese poems. The reading guide of "L’è el dì di Mort, alegher!", probably prepared by an editor, is followed in the second collection, "De là del mur", by ‘record pages’ (or ‘performer’s pages’) made by the author in order to offer explanations, comments and tips for a public reading
[Book review of:] Ilia Delio, Re-enchanting the Earth: Why AI Needs Religion
Can religion still play a relevant part in the hyper-connected, hyper-technologized society of the third millennium? This is the question that Ilia Delio, Roman-Catholic theologian, Franciscan sister, and author, deals with in her newest book. The simple answer is a resounding yes, but in order to demonstrate it, Delio takes an impressive tour de force through a wide array of disciplines, from evolutionary biology to critical posthumanism, and from the history of technology to philosophy and theology. The thesis of the book is “that religion is the linchpin to the future of AI-mediated cosmic intelligent life and that an AI world, oriented by new religious sensibilities, can bring about an ecological re-enchantment of the earth.

Misogeny and the defense of women in colonial Peru: the dialogues of Delio y Cilena in Miscelánea Austral (1602) by Diego Dávalos
The first defence of ladies on the American continent was a poem published in Lima, in 1603, by Diego Dávalos y Figueroa. Defensa de damas was written as a second part of the Miscelánea Austral (1602), an extensive dialogue where Delio and Cilena (the author Diego Dávalos and his wife Francisca de Briviesca) talk about multiple subjects, including love and ladies’ qualities and behaviour. This essay pays attention to female cultural roles in Davalos’ works. It suggests the possibility that his wife had also taken part in his production
