Being a Good Multicultural Counselor for Persons with Disabilities
No full textThis study aims to find out how to be a good multicultural counselor for persons with disabilities. This study uses qualitative methods and educational psychology approaches. The subjects of the study were three counselors at the state extraordinary school in Pemalang. This research lasted for three months. Based on extensive interviews and observations at the research location as the main tool for data collection, this study produced several findings. First, a multicultural counselor who is good for person with disabilities has several characteristics, they are empathy, familiarizing "greetings" and "say hello", listening wholeheartedly, having insight into cultural values of manners and the ethics of patience when interacting at person with disabilities, and mastering techniques in counseling. Second, these characteristics are able to increase and develop the career potential of person with disabilities and very helpful for person with disabilities through difficult times when facing life’s problems
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Sehat menurut WHO adalah terbebas dari segala jenis
penyakit baik fisik, psikis (jiwa) atau emosional, intelektual dan
sosial, namun masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak memperhatikan
kesehatan diri ataupun kesehatan keluarga. Keadaan seperti ini terjadi
pada masyarakat Kelurahan Sukarame Baru, dimana masyarakat
masih kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan
keluarga dan kebersihan lingkungan. Dari fenomena tersebut maka
kader Posyandu Kasih Ibu berusaha menyadarkan masyarakat agar
dapat menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan menjaga kesehatan keluarga
untuk menanggulangi permasalahan yang ada. Penulis mengadakan
penelitian mengenai Peran kader kesehatan dalam pemberdayaan
kesehatan keluarga di Kelurahan Sukarame Baru Kecamatan
Sukarame Bandar Lampung. Dengan rumusan masalah: Bagaimana
Peran kader kesehatan dalam pemberdayaan kesehatan keluarga di
Kelurahan Sukarame Baru Kecamatan Sukarame Bandar Lampung ?,
Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Peran kader
kesehatan dalam pemberdayaan kesehatan keluarga di Kelurahan
Sukarame Baru Kecamatan Sukarame Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat
deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan
teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh 8 orang. Metode
pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Observasi,
Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul dianalisis
dengan metode induktif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang penulis lakukan,
didapat temuan sebagai berikut : untuk menyadarkan masyarakat
tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan keluarga dan kebersihan
lingkungan dilakukan penyadaran dan pendimpingan oleh kader
Posyandu Kasih Ibu. Adapun tahapan yang dilalui antara lain :
penyuluhan kesehatan kepada masyarakat, proses pendampingan
masyarakat berupa pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat, dan pemandirian
masyarakat. Dalam pemberdayaan kesehatan keluarga yang dilakukan
kader Posyandu Kasih Ibu dapat dikatakan berhasil karena
meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terkait menjaga kesehatan

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka Non Return Rate (NRR), Service Per Conception (S/C), dan Conception Rate (CR) pada sapi Persilangan Simmental F1 dan F2 di Kecamatan Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai pengetahuan atau pedoman untuk peternak dalam keberhasilan reproduksi ternak dan bermanfaat dalam manajemen pemeliharaan ternak. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 ekor sapi Persilangan Simmental F1 dan 30 ekor sapi Persilangan Simmental F2. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria ternak pernah melahirkan 2 kali kelahiran dan memiliki catatan kelahiran yang lengkap. Variabel yang diamati adalah NRR, S/C, dan CR. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai NRR untuk sapi Persilangan Simmental F1 dan F2 berturut-turut adalah 93,33% dan 86,67% dan P>0,05 terhadap nilai NRR. Nilai S/C untuk sapi Persilangan Simmental F1 dan F2 berturut-turut adalah 1,4±0,67 dan 1,5±0,73 dan P>0,05 terhadap nilai S/C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai CR untuk sapi Persilangan Simmental F1 dan F2 berturut-turut adalah 70% dan 63,33% dan P>0,05 terhdap nilai CR. Berdasarakan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sapi Persilangan Simmental F1 dan sapi Persilangan Simmental F2 adalah sama atau tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai NRR, S/C, dan CR di Kecamatan Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar.

No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
