    Интегрированные структуры в промышленности как экономики Робинзона Крузо

    A model, formulated by the Lausanne school of economics in the 30s of the XX century and known as the economy of Robinson Crusoe, forms a compulsory course in microeconomics at various universities of the world. Though it basically corresponds to the pattern of vertically-integrated system, it was undervalued by the industrialists.Keeping in mind that when the economy of Robinson Crusoe is in a state of equilibrium, a graph of the consumer indifference curve touches a graph of the manufacturer’s production function in the point, which reflects the maximum of company profit, the analysis of operating efficiency of the system on the whole can be carried out by studying the operating mode of the producer of good only.To adapt the classical model of Robinson Crusoe economy to the modern conditions of company operation it was offered to use a single-factor production function with an argument in the form of multi-resource equivalent (MRE), which is a hypothetic resource, combining the inputs of labour, electrical energy, fuel, materials, etc. and having the entire cost, which is equal to the entire company expenses . Based on the analysis of profit fluctuations of coal mining enterprises (coal mines), which have various production characteristics and operate in various market conditions, a conclusion is drawn that the worse the operating conditions of the coal mine are the more intensive its production load should be to make it more cost-effective. At the same time, coal mines, working in favourable operating conditions, need to limit their production load.It is worth to use the developed methodology to analyze and substantiate the methods of improving the operation of vertically-integrated systems in the sphere of coal washing, coke chemistry, metallurgy, power engineering and other branches of industry. At the same time, its introduction into practice requires further study of company production functions.Модель, розроблена у 30-х роках ХХ ст. економістами лозаннської школи, відома як економіка Робінзона Крузо, є обов'язковим елементом університетських курсів з мікроекономіки, але виявилася недооціненою промисловцями, хоча за своєю природою відповідає схемі вертикально інтегрованих систем. Методологія опису економіки формату «1×1×2», що означає «один виробник, один споживач і два товари», може бути використана для розрахунку оптимальних режимів роботи інтегрованих виробничих систем та оцінки ефективності інвестиційних проектів, пов'язаних з їх розвитком.Разработанная в 30-х годах ХХ в. экономистами лозаннской школы модель, известная как экономика Робинзона Крузо, является обязательным элементом университетских курсов по микроэкономике, но оказалась недооценена промышленниками, хотя по своей природе соответствует схеме вертикально интегрированных систем.Методология описания экономик формата «1×1×2», что означает «один производитель, один потребитель и два товара», может быть использована для расчета оптимальных режимов работы интегрированных производственных систем и оценки эффективности инвестиционных проектов, связанных с их развитием

    Psychological prerequisites and effects of using multimedia content in the mass media.

    The author of the article argues that multimedia content can be used not only for entertainment purposes, but also may help achieve various psychological effects on the audience. The paper provides a brief overview of the psychological research performed in the field of multimedia perception and describes the cognitive theory of multimedia learning. The article analyses two phenomena that may be regarded as prerequisites for the emergence of multimedia as a new technology: multimodality of human perception and so-called polyphony of reality. Multimedia content affects various sensory systems and thus imitates the real world, which is full of stimuli from various modalities. The author also highlights a range of psychological effects that may accompany the usage of multimedia content in the mass media

    Статтю присвячено особливостям урегулювання подальшої долі авторських прав, щодо яких не виявилося спадкоємців, за законодавством США, Великої Британії, Німеччини, Франції, Литви, Італії, Чехії та деяких інших країн. Незважаючи на виняткове значення захисту інтелектуальної творчості в сучасному інформаційному суспільстві, дотепер у більшості правових систем питання управління такими авторськими правами залишається не досить урегульованим, що унеможливлює законне використання громадянами результатів творчості автора, який помер без спадкоємців. These scientific papers are devoted to the escheatment of the copyrights in American, British, and European legal systems and their further management. Though, the author has found such problems even in those legal systems, where the state becomes the successor of the escheated copyrights, so they can be easily unclaimed. While analyzing the foreign experience the author highlights a number of the problems in concerning the acquisition of the escheated copyrights. The copyright is rare object of escheating cause the state or the local community are interested in the acquisition of real estate or other types of valuable property more than in owning and managing copyrights. The escheating of copyrights in the United States, for example, is more in theory than in practice, because the state treasures seek for real estates which are of material interest. This situation easily blocks the further legal use of the works, whose author had died without any heirs, by the public and its members, because it is impossible without the owner’s acceptance

    Land and water arrangement among the indigenous peoples in Yenisei region in the early XX century

    This paper examines the process of land arrangement among the Khakas and water arrangement in the lower reaches of the Yenisei River in the early XX century, which affected the Kets, Dolgans, Selkups, Nenets, Enets and Evenks. The author considers water arrangement and land arrangement as parts of a single process. Land arrangement and water arrangement had different immediate causes, but they were of the same essence: the government secured its rights for natural resources: lands in the south of Yenisei region and fishing areas in the north of the region. During the land arrangement resettlement, the officials withdrew the land from the use of the Khakas people. The author argues that the withdrawn land was more than 744 500 dessiatins (more then 800 000 hectares). But it wasn’t ethnicity-based discrimination, because the land was taken away from the Russian people too. On the contrary, the officials responsible for relocation tried to give the Khakas people land above the limit. Fishing areas in the north of Yenisei region were withdrawn from the use of the indigenous peoples and the Russian people. It had been planned to lease fishing areas. So, there was no ethnicity-based discrimination in the north of Yenisei region. The author also argues that the goal of land and water arrangement was to create legal conditions so that big business could enter Siberia. For example, a large capitalist sheep farm «Vladimir Alekseev» was created in the south of Yenisei region. It was built on the lands that had been taken away from the Khakas people. It had been planned to lease fishing areas to big business in order to organize high-yield fisheries in the north of Yenisei region. «Enisejskaya kompaniya parohodstva» (Yenisei steam navigation company) received a lease. But that enterprise didn’t organize high-yield fisheries. It subleased the fishing areas to the local population. The goal wasn’t reached. Thus, we can conclude that government's activity in the south of Yenisei region was successful, and in the north it was a failure

    Concrete Strength and Crack Resistance Control

    AbstractAn integrated approach to the control of cracking processes and destruction of concrete, including the kinetics of crack growths depending on the duration and the magnitude of the external load is proposed. Based on the accumulated theoretical and experimental data it is determined that elastic and plastic deformations developed in the action under the action of the applied load due to the forming or development of different defects in concrete structures. The results of the experimental research to establish the strength and crack resistance parameters of fine-grained basalt fibrous concretes are presented. The values of strength changes with different indices of loading rate and kinetic characteristics of micro cracking, the activation energy and the effective activation volume were obtained. Development of different defects along with the destruction of concrete was investigated by indirect methods. The integral assessment of cracking processes and destruction of concrete allows defining the integral characteristics of materials under the impact of mechanical loads. For testing the experimental facilities with a wide range of concrete samples loading rates were used

    AbstractThe problems arising at operation of force compensating systems were considered. The necessity to apply additional speed restriction systems was proved. Two approaches to implement speed restriction systems were proposed due to application of a nonlinear negative feedback of speed and with use of the motor acceleration control. The ways of considered systems were proposed, the analysis of their operation in static and dynamic modes was made. Operation simulation of speed restriction systems was performed while operating under conditions of impact of various external efforts. Pilot studies’ results in relation to restriction systems operation were given. Advantages and disadvantages of proposed speed restriction systems were reviewed. The areas of the rational application of different systems of speed restriction were defined

    AbstractThe study of the strength and fatigue life of a welded load-bearing structure of the open-top wagon body was carried out by methods of mathematical simulation. The causes of occurrence of crack-like defects in the pivot center of the wagon were detected. Options to improve the load-bearing structure of the pivot center of newly manufactured open-top wagons and repaired wagons with defects were proposed. For the modified design of the open-top wagon pivot center conception complex calculations were made that confirmed its efficiency
