No full textChen Chen is the author of When I Grow Up I Want to Be a List of Further Possibilities (BOA Editions, 2017), which was long-listed for the National Book Award and won the Thom Gunn Award, among other honors. Bloodaxe Books published a UK edition in June. He is also the author of four chapbooks, most recently You MUST Use the Word Smoothie (Sundress Publications, 2019) and Gesundheit! (in collaboration with Sam Herschel Wein and forthcoming from Glass Poetry Press, fall 2019). His work appears in many publications, including Poem-a-Day, The Massachusetts Review, The Best American Poetry, and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. He has received a Pushcart Prize and fellowships from Kundiman and the National Endowment for the Arts. He holds an MFA from Syracuse University and a PhD from Texas Tech University. He teaches at Brandeis University as the Jacob Ziskind Poet-in-Residence and co-runs the journal, Underblong. He lives in Waltham, Massachusetts, with his partner, Jeff Gilbert, and their pug, Mr. Rupert Gile

Ada empat bidang kajian psikologi dalam studi sastra, yakni studi (1) psikologi pengarang, (2) proses kreatif pengarang, (3) tipe dan hukum-hukum psikologi yang diterapkan dalam karya sastra, dan (4) psikologi pembaca. Bidang kajian psikologi dalam studi sastra yang dimanfaatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi tipe dan hukum-hukum psikologi perkembangan yang diterapkan dalam novel Fatimah Chen Chen. Dalam novel tersebut terkandung gejala psikologi yaitu perkembangan kepribadian yang diwujudkan dalam dialog, monolog dan narasi pada tokoh utama Chen Chen. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan kepribadian tokoh Chen Chen dalam novel Fatimah Chen Chen. Aspek perkembangan kepribadian yang dideskripsikan tersebut meliputi (1) perkembangan kepribadian tokoh Chen Chen, pada masa pranikah dikaji dari aspek emosional, kognitif, moral, dan religiusitas, (2) perkembangan kepribadian tokoh Chen Chen, pada masa pascanikah dikaji dari aspek emosional, kognitif, moral, dan religiusitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa unit teks dalam novel Fatimah Chen Chen karya Motinggo Busye yang menggambarkan aspek emosional, kognitif, moral, dan religiusitas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membaca sumber data dengan menjadikan peneliti sebagai human instrument. Kemudian pengklasifikasian data, data dipisahkan berdasarkan indikator-indikator permasalahan dan tujuan penelitian. Data yang sudah diinterpretasikan selanjutnya dideskripsikan dalam bentuk paparan bahasa sebagai suatu hasil analisis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian perkembangan kepribadian tokoh Chen Chen dalam Novel Fatimah Chen Chen bahwa setiap perkembangan kepribadian baik aspek emosional, kognitif, moral dan religiusitas selalu berkaitan dan saling mempengaruhi, penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua masa yaitu pranikah dan pascanikah. Peralihan dari masa pranikah menjadi masa pascanikah Chen Chen mengalami perkembangan menjadi wanita dewasa. Memang tidak semua wanita dewasa bisa mencapai kematangan emosional secara sempurna karena kematangan dan kondisi emosi manusia bukan merupakan kondisi yang bersifat menetap. Tetapi, merupakan proses panjang dan melalui irama yang sering kali naik turun dari waktu ke waktu. Perkembangan kepribadian bisa bersifat progesif (maju) dan juga bisa bersifat regresif (mundur).Berdasarkan perkembangan kepribadiannya dari awal hingga akhir, tokoh Chen Chen bisa digolongkan dalam kepribadian yang dinamis dan bersifat progesif. Tampak pada perkembangan emosional Chen Chen yang semakin kuat dan tegar, apalagi ketika proses berislamnya dan ketika dia ditinggal mati suaminya, sehingga bisa terbentuk kepribadian yang dinamis pula layaknya wanita dewasa yang sempurna. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi penelitian, diperoleh dua simpulan meliputi (1) adanya perkembangan kepribadian pada tokoh Chen Chen dalam novel Fatimah Chen Chen pada masa pranikah, baik aspek emosional, kognitif, moral dan religiusitasnya, sesuai dengan perkembangan remaja pada umumnya, pada masa ini pula remaja masih mengalami proses pencarian jati diri, emosinya masih labil dan juga mudah terbawa oleh arus pergaulan bebas; (2) adanya perkembangan kepribadian pada tokoh Chen Chen dalam novel Fatimah Chen Chen pada masa pascanikah, baik aspek emosional, kognitif, moral dan religiusitasnya, proses perkembangan kepribadian tersebut yang membentuk pribadi Chen Chen menjadi seorang muslimah yang tegar dan kuat, layaknya seorang wanita dewasa yang sempurna. Berdasarkan pengetahuan bahwa pendekatan psikologi sangat bermanfaat bagi analisis karya sastra (novel), begitu pula dengan penelitian mengenai perkembangan kepribadian tokoh Chen Chen dalam novel Fatimah Chen Chen, bukan berarti permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan kepribadian sudah selesai, melainkan masih banyak masalah perkembangan kepribadian lain yang bisa diteliti. Maka disarankan penelitian ini perlu dikembangkan tidak hanya pada novel Fatimah Chen Chen karya Motinggo Busye, tetapi juga pada karya-karya sastra lainnya dan bisa juga menggunakan pendekatan yang berbeda

A Comparison of the Interactions between Tiwanaku and Chen Chen Based on Dietary and Isotopic Analyses
No full textabstract: Paleodietary analysis through the interpretation of stable isotopic analyses can be used to determine the approximate diet consumed at archaeological sites. The following question was investigated through the course of this research: What are the differences between the Middle Horizon capital of Tiwanaku and the associated colony of Chen Chen; and what do these differences, including those associated with paleodiet, suggest about interactions between the two sites? The main hypothesis suggested a similar dietary analysis between the two sites with two possible explanations. First, it is possible that similarities between the sites were due to the exchange and consumption of goods at both locations, perhaps through trade. Secondly, it is possible that the similarities were due to the acquisition of similar goods through local sourcing or limited trade. To assess this, an analysis was conducted based on δ13Cdiet (VPDB) values in the comparison of the city center Tiwanaku and the agricultural site of Chen Chen. Archaeological bone samples were processed from a diverse group of individuals at Chen Chen and combined with published values by Tomczak (2001), then compared against δ13C from Tiwanaku, published by Berryman (2010). After conversion to δ13Cdiet (VPDB) as described by Kellner and Schoeninger (2007), it was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between the δ13Cdiet (VPDB) values from either site, suggesting a similar ratio of goods consumed. These values were then compared to baseline values from the region to determine an approximate ratio of C3 to C4 flora or dependent fauna consumed. These data most likely support the second explanation of the main hypothesis, that both sites had access to similar goods through local sourcing or limited trade as an explanation for their similarity. However, because a similar ratio of foods consumed was determined in this analysis, it is still possible that trade occurred in both directions between Tiwanaku and Chen Chen. Additional isotopic analyses would be required to support the first claim, which can be addressed in future research projects

Señor de los Milagros de Chen Chen en la región Moquegua en el año 2018.
El diseño de la investigación es descriptivo correlacional, para esta investigación se ha empleado la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumentos los cuestionarios para determinar los niveles de relación entre las variables de estudio propuestas utilizando como población y muestra no probabilística intencional para 44 trabajadores de la Institución Educativa Señor de los Milagros de Chen Chen en la región Moquegua en el año 2018.
El resultado de la investigación demuestra que si existe una relación significativamente (rho Spearman = 0,529 y p – valor = 0,000 < 0,05) entre las variable clima organizacional y la gestión institucional en la Institución Educativa
