ANALISIS SOSIOLOGIS NOVEL SI ANAK KAMPOENG DAN SI ANAK PANAH KARYA DAMIEN DEMATRA
No full textThis study aimed to describe: social values ??embodied in the Si Anak Kampoeng and Si Anak Panah of Damien Dematra. The theory used in this study there were four, namely (1) the nature of the novel, (2) the elements of the novel, (3) sociological theory of literature, and (4) approach to literary analysis. This research is a qualitative research as research procedures which produce descriptive data describing the condition or phenomenon that occurs in a text, in the form of literary novels, when linked with the needs relevant to the research problem. Results penelitain the Si Anak Kampoeng and Si Anak Panah novel of Damien Dematra work showed that the presence of social values ??in the novel is about the habits and ways of thinking people. It is like what has been described by the main character in this novel is "Syafii Maarif", and additional characters also play an important role in this regard. Habits contained in the novel, namely: (1) easy to worry, (2) helpful, (3) agriculture and livestock, (4) go abroad, (5) trade, and (6) like risking your chicken. This reseach was motivated by low of students’ reading comprehension and their reading interest. To anticipate this problem, the researcher offered group close technique – a technique focussed to enrich students’ vocabulary the research used desciptive quantitative. The population of this research was the eight grade students of Junior High School (SMP) Pembangunan UNP Padang. The reseach sample were taken using random sampling. The instrument used was reading comprehension test. The research revealed students’ abililty as follows: (1) an excellent reader was 2.8 percent; (2) very good readers were 11.1 percent; (3) good readers were 11.1 percent; (4) adequate readers were 19.4 percent; (5) less adequate readers were 41.7 percent; and (6) poor readers were 22.2 percent.

No full textPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh informasi-informasi tentang nilai-nilai moral bagi kehidupan manusia. Nilai-nilai moral dapat memperkaya batin dan pengalaman baru bagi manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Rembulan di Padang Cinta karya Fahri Asiza. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode deskriptif untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan data yang ada dalan novel Rembulan di Padang Cinta karya Fahri Asiza yang terurai dalam bentuk kata-kata, bukan dalam bentuk angka-angka. Data dan sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Rembulan di Padang Cinta karya Fahri Asiza. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tahapan membaca dan memahami sekaligus menandai aspek-aspek moral yang terdapat dalam novel Rembulan di Padang Cinta karya Fahri Asiza dan menginventarisasi data tersebut ke dalam format inventarisasi data. Selanjutnya, dianalisis dengan cara mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis data berdasarkan konsep nilai-nilai moral. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan dari nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Rembulan di Padang Cinta, yaitu (1) Nilai moral hati nurani, berkaitan erat dengan kenyataan bahwa manusia mempunyai kesadaran dalam melakukan sesuatu. (2) Nilai moral kebebasan dan tanggung jawab, setiap manusia memiliki kebebasan dan bertanggung jawab terhadap kebebasan tersebut. (3) Nilai moral hak dan kewajiban, manusia sebagai makhluk sosial tidak lepas dari hak dan kewajiban baik terhadap sesama maupun terhadap diri sendiri. (4) Nilai moral tentang nilai dan norma, baik dan buruk nilai dan norma tergantung baik dan buruknya perbuatan seseorang. Memahami aspek-aspek yang menjadi masalah pada novel ini dapat menambah pengalaman pembaca terhadap variasi permasalahan moral yang dialami dalam kehidupan mayarakat. No full textThe research was distributed by several factors as follows. (1) students often trembling voice in conveying the contents of talks; (2) at the time of sitting the discussion students discuss issues outside the discussion; (3) activities discuss monopolized by active students only; (4) at the time the lecturer asked students embarrassed answer for fear of wrong. This study aims to describe the process of improving the ability of students semester II discuss Prodi Indonesia language and literature Education using learning methods of type Numbered Heads Together. The subject of this study are students semester II Prodi Indonesia language and literature Education amounted to 27 people. Data collection is carried out through two main tools, namely test and nontes. The test is used to collect the data the ability to peacefully, while data nontes used to collect usage data learning method of type Numbered Heads Together in the study discussion. Penganalisisan data descriptive-analistis made in accordance with the application of the concept of research action class. The results showed that the method of learning type Numbered Heads Together on the mean values of prasiklus ability of students are discussing 53.90. On cycle I increased to 63.62, and in cycle II also experience increased 76.62. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an increased ability of discussing students semester II Prodi Indonesia language and literature Education STKIP YDB Bottom Alung using learning methods of type Numbered Heads Together

No full textThe aim of this study: (1) describe the type of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Three Seniors Streets Benny Rachmadi Singapore to work, (2) describe the function of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to the work of Benny Singapore Rachmadi, (3) describe the dominant illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Three Seniors Streets Benny Rachmadi Singapore to work. This research is a qualitative research method in this study deskriptif.Data main character in the form of narrative discourse Seniors comic Three Roads to Singapore Work Rachmadiyang Benny containing illocutionary speech acts. Data collection techniques used in this study is the technique of note, which is a technique used by researchers dealing with the use of written language. Based on the research results, it was concluded the following. First, the type of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to the work of Benny Rachmadi Singapore found 28 utterances. Representative speech acts found 13 utterances, 11 utterances directive, and the declaration of 4 utterances. Second, the function of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi found 12 utterances. Competitive speech act functions found 3 tuturanmenyenangkan 3 utterances, working 3 utterances, and found 3 contradicts speech. Third, the type of illocutionary speech acts used the dominant discourse of the main character in the comic Three Seniors Streets to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi is representative speech act, illocutionary speech acts and functions of the dominant discourse used the main character in the comic Three Seniors Streets to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi is no dominant speech acts

First, describe the skills of producing procedural texts of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis before the Scientific approach is assisted by image media. Second, describe the skills of producing procedural texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis after the Scientific approach was assisted by the image media. Third, analyzing the effect of the application of the Scientific approach assisted by media images on the skills of producing procedure texts for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis.
The theory used in this study is three. The three things are: (1) the skill of producing procedural texts, (2) the Scientific approach assisted by image media, and (3) the application of the Scientific approach assisted by media images on the skills of producing procedure texts for XI grade 1 Ulakan Tapakis high school students.
This type of research is quantitative research. The research method applied is descriptive analysis method. The design of this study was pre-test and post-test one group design. The procedure of this study was: (1) pretest, (2) treatment, and (3) posttest. The population in this study were grade XI students of SMA 1 Ulakan Tapakis who were enrolled in the 2019 school year as many as 178 students. The sample in the study were students of class XI MIPA-2, amounting to 30 students. The variable of this research is the skill of producing procedural texts of class XI MIPA-2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis before and after the implementation of the Scientific approach assisted by image media. The data of this study are skill test scores producing procedure text for class XI MIPA-2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis before and after the implementation of the Scientific approach assisted by image media.
Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded as follows. First, the skill of producing procedure texts for class XI MIPA-2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis before the implementation of the Scientific approach assisted by the media image is more than adequate (69,33). Second, the skill of producing procedure texts for class XI MIPA-2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis after the Scientific approach was assisted by the media image was very well qualified (89.87). Third, there is the influence of the application of the Scientific approach assisted by image media on the skills of producing procedural texts of class XI MIPA-2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis after t-test at the level of 0.95, tcount> t table or 8.67> 1.70. So it can be said that, Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. That is, the Scientific approach assisted with image media is feasible in learning skills producing procedural texts in class XI of SMA 1 Ulakan Tapakis

No full textPenelitian ini membahas pandangan retorika terhadap bahasa. Aspek kebahasan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah kosakata baku dan tidak baku. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan kosakata baku dan tidak baku dalam pidato ketua umum partai nasdem Surta Paloh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deksriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan dalam pidato Surya Paloh yang secara rinci meliputi kosakata bakun dan tidak baku.
Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan lisan pidato Surya Paloh. Penelitian ini mengandalkan peneliti sebagai instrumen utamanya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Surya Paloh lebih banyak menggunakan kosaka baku dibandingkan kosakata tidak baku. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Surya paloh sangat memperhatikan pemakaian bahasa dalam pidato yang disampaikan, walaupun pidato yang disampaikan terkesan cepat dan menggebu-gebu tetapi Surya Paloh sangat memperhatikan sekali bagaimana penyampain formalitas pidato resmi

No full textThis research was motivated by a phenomenon of the most students do not understand that learning styles are very influential on learning success optimally.┬á This study aims todescribe the learning studentsÔÇÖ styles of Indonesia Languagen and Literature Education Study Program. The population of this study was the students of the Indonesia Language and Literature Education Study Program of YDB LubukAlung in 2017/2018 academic year.┬áData were collected using questionnaire to determine the dominant learning style of students. The data were analyzed with the following steps: (1) checking the data and giving a score according to the Likert scale for the questionnaire (2) analyzing and discussing the data. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded four things as follows: The average score of students' visual learning styles was 3.49, it means that the dominant visual learning was owned by Indonesia Language and Literature Education Study Program students. The average auditoria learning style was 2.99, it means the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education have an auditory learning style at a moderate level. The average kinesthetic learning style was obtained at 3.08,it means that Indonesian Language and Literature Education students are having a kinesthetic learning style. Relevant to the results of the study, the following things are recommended, the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program should conduct a learning style test at the beginning of the lectur

No full textAbstractThis research is based on several problems found in studentsÔÇÖ writing; (1) the structure of studentsÔÇÖ essay is not complete; (2) the use of languge is not communicative; (3) the paragraph development is not coherent; and (4) the title of the essay is not appropriate. This reseach aims at implementing mind mapping technique in writing an essay. Mind mapping is a technique of teaching writing to help students map their idea in writing an essay. This research used quantitative research. The research sample was the fifth semester students of STKIP YBD Lubuk Alung registered in 2015/2016 academic year. The result of this research shows that mind mapping technique could increase studentsÔÇÖ writing. This is indicated by the increase of studentsÔÇÖ score after applying mind mapping technique. 25 students (92.6%) got very good score and 2 others (7.43%) got good score. Based on this finding, it is suggested for English teachers to use mind mapping technique to improve studentsÔÇÖ writing skill.Kata Kunci: penerapan, teknik mind mapping, keterampilan menulis esa
