Uniqueness for second-order parabolic equations with discontinuous coefficients
No full textThe authors show the uniqueness of the ``good solution'' to the Cauchy-Dirichlet problem for linear non-variational parabolic equations with the coefficients of the principal part with discontinuities, in cases in which in general uniqueness of strong solutions in Sobolev spaces does not hold. No full textLa decisione di approcciare in maniera definita e specialistica il complesso ed articolato “mondo” dei bandi e della progettazione Europea, in particolare, e della programmazione Europea, in generale, è scaturita come idea e proposta dell’Associazione ARS.UNI.VCO a fronte della constatazione che la continua richiesta di approfondimenti, di informazioni, di aggiornamenti su queste tematiche costituisce oramai un necessario corollario con cui risulta imprescindibile confrontarsi.
Questa particolare situazione deriva anche, e forse soprattutto, dalla necessità di individuare percorsi di finanziamento diversi ed alternativi rispetto alle consuete linee che potremmo chiamare “istituzionali” perseguite fino ad ora (richieste di contributo a livello locale); linee che nell’attuale fase di crisi economica ed istituzionale appunto non sono più, ad oggi, in grado di rispondere adeguatamente alle sempre maggiori richieste di finanziamento di progetti di sviluppo, i quali in alcuni casi tendono, per necessaria contingenza, più che altro a reperire fondi per finanziarie l’ordinario.
Diventa quindi necessario ed opportuno, per ogni territorio, fare rete e dotarsi di un sistema che sappia rispondere alle richieste di tutti quei soggetti, pubblici e privati, che richiedono professionalità sempre più aggiornate e specializzate nell’ampio settore della progettazione Europea ed anche della conoscenza del sistema di funzionamento della programmazione Europea, tanto complesso ed articolato l’uno quanto l’altro

No full textNella società contemporanea, si parla spesso di “competenza creativa”, ma non è facile capire esattamente di che cosa si tratti, a causa delle sue molteplici sfaccettature. Il volume vorrebbe farsi bussola per un percorso preciso, non certamente l’unico possibile, nel fitto bosco della creatività. Capitolo dopo capitolo, presenta geografie, storie, pratiche, modelli e iniziative che esemplificano, chiariscono, regalano spunti, aprono interrogativi. In linea con le molteplici declinazioni della creatività, e con l’intento di rifletterne l’ampiezza e l’eterogeneità, il testo coniuga parti aventi diverse impostazioni – metodologica, empirica, divulgativa – valorizzando l’originale talento e l’autonomia creativa di ciascun autore e autrice. A chi legge, quindi, la sorpresa di scoprire i contenuti e la possibilità di addentrarsi pagina per pagina in questo mondo “fantastico”, dedicandogli un pensiero rodariano: «Andrà lontano? Farà fortuna? Raddrizzerà tutte le cose storte di questo mondo? No full textEn el presente trabajo se realizó un análisis de los procesos administrativos contables de la empresa Cerutti Jorge y Adalberto S.H. Para esto tomaron en cuenta los procesos más significativos de compras, pagos, ventas y cobranzas de la organización asociado a la actividad de tambo y animales. Se detectaron altos niveles de informalidad, falta de registración o registración manual, debilidades de seguridad asociadas a posibles ilícitos, entre otros.
A partir de esto se rediseñaron los procesos analizados y se construyeron herramientas que permitan la formalización de los mismos como lograr una sistematización de la información y control de la gestión, buscando lograr una seguridad razonable
EFFECTS OF ADHESIVE RESTORATION ON CUSPAL DEFLECTION IN ENDODONTICALLY TREATED PREMOLARS
No full textObjective: The purpose of this study was to determine, by means of a non-destructive experimental procedure, the extent to which tooth cusps are weakened by endodontic procedures and the effectiveness of adhesive bonding restoration in reducing cuspal deflection as function of different restorative procedures.
Methods: A mechanically controlled loading device induced cuspal deflection by axial force (range 98 – 294 Newton) on an occlusal surface while sophisticated Laser LTS twin sensor registered the amount of deflection. Cusps deflection values, in microns, were recorded for each tooth (Cerutti et al., IADR-Washington 2000). Thirty sound maxillary premolars teeth were sequentially evaluated in the following conditions: A) intact tooth; B) completion of restorative (cavity MOD preparation:depth 4 mm and width of a half of intercuspal distance) and endodontic procedures. Teeth were randomly divided in five groups (n = 5) and restored respectively with: 1) Amalgam (Dispersalloy); 2) Spectrum TPH; 3) Surefil; 4) Esthet-X; 5) Esthet-X + Dyract flow. The cavity margins were etched with H3PO4– 36%; P&B NT bonding system was used.
Results: We evaluated in intact teeth (range 49,52-58,76 N/μm) and in restored teeth (range 8,56-47,05 N/μm) for all groups: A) amount of cusps deflection B) average loading force needed to induce 1 μm andi C) mean structural recovery. Statistical analysis (Anova for repeated measures) has been performed. Mean structural recovery values after restorative treatment were for restored teeth: 17% amalgam, 60% in Spectrum TPH, 59% in SureFil, 54% in Esthet-X, and 99% in Esthet-X/Dyract flow.
Conclusions: Bonded composite restorations are effective in reducing cuspal deflection after treatment and in recovering tooth stiffness in endodontically treated premolars

No full textThis book examines the link between political identity and legitimacy in the European Union, and more precisely of the EU. Stimulated by the present crisis of legitimacy and identity suffered by the EU after the referenda on the Constitutional Treaty, the editors have developed a theoretical framework to examine the interplay between legitimacy and identity in the development of the EU into a full-fledged political actor. The editors examine these concepts jointly, specifically focussing on their connection and also consider the deeper cultural and moral layers from which a would-be polity such as the EU draws its justification and looks at the role played by symbols and memories.The authors seek to: redefine the key notions in the rigorous way of political philosophy, thus avoiding the generic or imprecise language usage found in a large part of political science literature on identity, and test these concepts in the analysis of EU policies that may reveal the world views and the principles upon which EU legislation is based, and also asks what impact those policies have in the perception of the European public, and how far they help develop a shared political identity and a justification for the growing role played by EU institutions inside and outside the continent.Featuring case studies on environmental policy, biosafety policy, biotechnology regulation, civil society, human rights promotion and democracy, this book will be of interest to students and researchers of political science, political philosophy, European politics and European Studies.
