Vincenzo conducted the research described in this article while he was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Imperial College London, UK and an ISSF (Institutional Strategic Support Fund)-Wellcome Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK, where most of the work was carried out in Prof. Serge Mostowy's lab. He has just started his own group at King's College London, investigating host-pathogen interactions and antimicrobial resistance for globally relevant bacterial pathogens, such as Shigella and E. coli, using zebrafish as an in vivo model

No full textIl contributo si inserisce nel filone di ricerca sull’impiego della forma ovata nei chiostri, avviato con
l’analisi del chiostro di Santa Maria della Sanità a Napoli e ora esteso al panorama architettonico
europeo. In questo contesto, vengono presentati gli studi sul chiostro di Sant Antoni de Viana a
Palma di Maiorca, pregevole esempio di architettura barocca, ma tuttavia precluso alla fruizione
pubblica. Attraverso metodi e strumenti propri del Disegno, le indagini consentono una rinnovata
'accessibilità' alla conoscenza del bene, integrandosi nel progetto PRIN 2022 EX-IN_AccessiBILITY,
finalizzato allo sviluppo di nuovi modelli di fruizione e disseminazione del patrimonio religioso.
L‘attività ha previsto l’impiego di metodologie di rilievo digitale integrato, nel ricorso alle consolidate
prassi fotogrammetriche. Questo approccio ha garantito la documentazione del sito attraverso le
tradizionali rappresentazioni grafiche e ha permesso analisi geometriche approfondite della matrice
planimetrica policentrica, facilitando il confronto con il chiostro di S. Maria della Sanità. Inoltre,
l’adozione di avanzate tecniche di modellazione rappresenta un elemento chiave per future
iniziative di disseminazione e accessibilità virtuale, sfruttando le potenzialità delle moderne
tecnologie ICT.
Le indagini, oltre ad ampliare gli studi sul complesso di S. Maria della Sanità, contribuiscono alla
conoscenza di un bene finora poco esplorato dalla comunità scientifica, inaugurando un filone di
ricerca volto alla classificazione delle tipologie di chiostri con matrici planimetriche non tradizionali.
In questo contesto, sviluppando una rete interconnessa di ricerche attraverso il confronto tra
esempi distinti, si amplia la comprensione della diffusione e delle trasformazioni di tali tipologie
nel panorama architettonico europeo ed extraeuropeo

a jeho opeře Puritáni. Hlavním cílem a posláním práce je přiblížit čtenáři tuto významnou romantickou osobnost a úzce se zaměřit na dílo Puritáni. Zde se autor zaměřuje na vznik
a vývoj opery. Dále poukazuje na děj a jednotlivé postavy kusu. Jelikož se v inscenaci vyskytuje autorova oblíbená role Riccarda, rozhodl se jí věnovat blíže a rozebrat
její slavnou árii: „Ah, per sempre io ti perdei“ harmonicky i formálně. Nakonec se autor zaměří na vybrané pěvce, kteří zpívali árie od Vincenza Belliniho, a zmíní jeho vlastní postřehy a poznatky z poslechu skladeb. Magisterská práce by měla sloužit všem čtenářům, které zajímá hudební skladatel Vincenzo Bellini a jeho opera Puritáni.The master's thesis deals with the composer Vincenzo Bellini and his opera Puritans. The main goal and mission of the work is to introduce readers to this important romantic personality and to focus closely on the work of the Puritans. Here the author focuses on the origin and development of opera. Next, go to the history and individual characters of the piece. As the author's favorite role of Riccardo appears in the productions, he decided to take a closer look at it and analyze his famous aria: "Ah, per sempre io ti perdei" harmoniously and formally. Finally, the author focuses on selected singers who sang an aria by Vincenza Bellini, and his own observations and insights from listening to the warehouse. The master's thesis should serve all readers who are interested in the composer Vincenzo Bellini and his opera Puritans
