No full textI valori professionali, conseguentemente alla crescente flessibilità del mondo del lavoro, giocano oggi un ruolo sempre più importante. Il presente contributo, composto da due parti, propone un progetto di ricerca che utilizza l¿Inventario dei Valori Professionali (IVP; Boerchi e Castelli, 2000). La prima parte dello studio ha lo scopo di verificare l¿esistenza di differenze valoriali tra due differenti setting: orientamento professionale e selezione del personale. La seconda parte ha lo scopo di analizzare il rapporto tra la modalità di somministrazione carta e matita e quella informatizzata del IVP. Vengono indagati e confermati sia l¿attendibilità e validità del test (anche con campioni di adulti), sia l¿influsso di alcune importanti determinanti valoriali (sesso, età, titolo di studio, condizione professionale).As a consequence of an increasinglyflexible work environment, professional values nowadays play a more and more significant role. The present study, made up of two sections, offers a research project wich uses the Professionale Values Inventory (IVP; Boerchi, Castelli, 2000). The first part of the study aims to verify the existence of value differences between two different setting: occupational guidance and personel selection. The second part aims to analyze the relationship between the paper and pencil way of organization and computer assisted mode of the IVP. In both parts, reliability, validity of the test (with adult samples) and influence of certain important values (sex, age, quelification, professional condition) are investigated and confirmed

The automatic behavior of smokers as a function of the time passed from the last sigarette smoked
No full textThirty-two smokers participated in the present study. They were administered an implicit task (i.e., IAAT, Implicit Approach-Avoidance Task; Castelli & Paladino, 2002) in order to measure their spontaneous behavioral tendency to approach smoke-related stimuli. It is hypothesized that the internal motivational state of either deprivation or satiation may influence spontaneous behavioral responses. Results confirmed the hypothesis demonstrating that participants who spent more time without smoking were faster when approaching smoke-related stimuli in comparison to those who had smoked recently. These results suggest the importance of investigating the impact that motivational states may exert on the automatic processes that regulate smokers' perception of smoking
