as “resenhas”.The present research aims to analyze the recent reconfiguration of funk, especially in the
2000s, considering territorial inequalities and the history of popular culture in Rio de
Janeiro. One of the main manifestations of this reconfiguration is the gatherings of "funk
galeras" or "old-school funk," organized by funk artists from the 1990s who seek to imbue
contemporary funk with new meanings. My hypothesis is that the cultural movement of
"galera funk" is based on three main axes: a) the (re)appropriation of the funk's past,
specifically from the 1990s; b) the articulation between the organization of "resenhas"
(gatherings of "galera funk"), territorial location, and public authority; and finally, c)
representations of contemporary funk genres, from which the "galera funk" wishes to
distance itself or about which they have criticisms. To do this, we propose to reconstruct
the Rio de Janeiro funk movement since the 1990s and examine how currently the "galera
funk" presents their gatherings as a kind of rescue or rebirth of "old-school funk." Using
qualitative techniques such as interviews and participant observation, the research will
seek to understand how members of "galera funk" appropriate certain past experiences
lived as funk artists, as well as their motivations and relationships with different groups
and instances of public authority that enable the main expression of old-school funk, the
"resenhas" (gatherings).112 p
El Túmulo 20 de la necrópolis Ibérica de Tútugi (Galera, Granada)
Here the results from the excavation of Tumulus 20 of the Iberian Necropolis of Tútugi are presented. This tumulus was robbed in 1916, but the materials were recovered and published by Cabré and Motos in 1920. Among the artefacts was the Dama de Galera (Lady of Galera). The excavation has uncovered a structural complex with two phases of construction. The first phase consists of a quadrangular chamber with an access passageway, both carved into the rock, and with a central pillar of adobe that possibly supported a ceiling. In the second phase, the chamber was filled in with rocks and earth, and the rock was cut to form a circular platform of 13 m in diameter, which was painted red. In the centre of this platform a quadrangular space serving as an entrance corridor was constructed as a projection of the underground structures. This building in the open air was framed within an Cypriot-ingot-shaped platform painted in white.

From constructive practice to masonry literature: the vaulted passages in the presbitery of the Granada Cathedral
[EN] Studies about the Cathedral of Granada frequently emphasize the diaphanous opening of the presbytery to the ambulatory through seven vaulted passages. From the constructive point of view, these elements present interesting features, such as the splaying, the contrast between the planar arch in the ambulatory and the concave side in the main chapel, and the asymmetry of the extreme passages, caused by the complex articulation between nave, ambulatory and presbitery. In addition, these vaults are among the first pieces executed in Spain using the construction technique called “bóvedas por cruceros”, which is based on a network of ribs that supports severies. This study presents a detailed survey of these vaults, an analysis of their geometric and stereotomic characteristics, and a commentary on the diffuse influence of these pieces in later literature.[ES] Los estudios sobre la catedral de Granada destacan con frecuencia la diáfana apertura del presbiterio a la girola mediante siete pasos abovedados. Salcedo Galera, M.; Calvo Lopez, J. Implications of sepiolite dehydration for earthquake nucleation in the Galera Fault Zone: A thermodynamic approach
A new thermodynamic model for the Mg-phyllosilicate sepiolite was developed and used to calculate its P-T stability conditions and water content for different bulk rock compositions. The standard-state thermodynamic properties, entropy (S°) and enthalpy (H°), were initially estimated by oxide summation taking into account the different entropic and enthalpic contributions of the three types of water in sepiolite: zeolitic water, bound water, and structural OH groups. The starting model was then refined with experimental data. The dehydration process follows a step function that allowed us to define “end-members” with decreasing hydration states in a theoretical solid solution. The stability field of sepiolite is ultimately limited by the reaction sepiolite = talc + quartz + H2O, which is located at about 325 °C at 1–500 MPa. The large thermodynamic stability field of this clay mineral suggests that it could control the mechanical behaviour of crustal faults to 325 °C. The refined model was then applied to the natural case of the Galera Fault Zone (SE Spain) using thermogravimetric analysis and X-ray fluorescence data of the bulk rock composition of the fault core gouge, which is mainly composed of sepiolite. The dehydration of sepiolite at T 2O; a reaction that also involves a reduction of around 31% of the original solid volume. These significant hydration and volume changes of sepiolite can have important implications on the strength and mechanical stability of the Galera Fault and other sepiolite-bearing gouges. We compare triaxial friction experiments on the natural sepiolite-rich gouge with a synthetic gouge to estimate strength changes on the gouge with depth. The synthetic gouge represents the breakdown association above 325 °C, and was constructed following the mineral phases predicted by the thermodynamic model (93 wt% talc and 7 wt% quartz). The contrasting frictional strength and mechanical stability of sepiolite in comparison to talc could be one of the causes of fault instability and earthquake nucleation seen to be concentrated in the upper 13 km of the Galera Fault
Feeding patterns and electivity of Salmacis sphaeroides Linn. in Sandbar, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines
Morphometric relationships, feeding pattern and food preferences were determined for 5almecis ,phaeroides Linn. collected from the seagrass bed at Sandbar, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. Highest correlation was observed between test diameter and body weight. Feeding was high during nighttime and low during daytime. 5.sphaeroides. primarily graze on seagrasses but feed actively on foraminiferans at night. Preference for Helodule was high over the other plant species (CymodoceA \u3e Enhalus \u3e Halophila \u3e Padina \u3e Syrinoodium) based on electivity values

Peer reviewe
