The Aesthetics of Fronting and Delaying the Poem "the Processions" by (Gibran Khalil Gibran) as A Model
Fronting and delaying is one of the rhetorical techniques that enriches the poetics of the text and gives the author more space to express the emotional states that are intrinsic to him. Fronting and delaying also stimulates the recipient's linguistic and rhetorical capabilities to discover the reasons and motives that disrupt the simple linguistic system, and the study sought to determine these reasons in Gibran's poetry. Khalil Gibran was influenced by the expressive forces concealed in the movements of words and their placement along the poetry line. UNSUR INTRINSIK DALAM NOVEL "AL-AJNIHATU AL-MUTAKASSIRATU" KARYA KAHLIL GIBRAN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam novel “Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu” karya Kahlil Gibran. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis isi. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti adalah peneliti dengan cermat dan berulang-ulang membaca sumber data sampai data yang dibutuhkan ditemukan.
Hasil analisis unsur-unsur internal dalam novel “Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu” karya Kahlil Gibran: Novel ini memiliki tema utama sebagai tema utama novel “Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu” karya Kahlil Gibran adalah “cinta karena kesedihan dibalik penderitaan sepasang kekasih. dipisahkan oleh tangan takdir, dan kisah cinta pertama yang pahit. Alur yang digunakan dalam novel ini adalah alur campuran. Tokoh utama dalam novel ini adalah tokoh “Aku” yaitu Kahlil Gibran dan Selma Karami Sedangkan tokoh tambahan dalam novel ini adalah Faris Afandi Karami, Uskup Bulos Ghalib, Mansour Bey Ghalib, dan beberapa tokoh lain yang tidak digambarkan wataknya. Latar tempat dalam novel ini adalah: Beirut, Lebanon, Suria, rumah teman tokoh utama “Aku”, rumah Faris, daerah pegunungan Sunin, kamar Kahlil Gibran, rumah Selma dan Mansour , kamar Faris, kuil dan kuburan. Sedangkan latar waktu dalam novel ini adalah: Musim semi, bulan nisan, saat matahari terbenam, di malam hari dan musim panas di bulan Juli. Gaya bahasa yang digunakan pengarang dalam novel ini sangat khas, pengarang sering menggunakan kata-kata indah seperti puisi dan juga menggunakan kalimat yang bermakna metafora, salah satunya adalah personifikasi, sejenis bahasa kiasan yang menggambarkan wasiat orang mati. atau benda mati seolah-olah mereka memiliki karakteristik manusia. Penulis dalam novel ini cenderung menggunakan sudut pandang pertama. Dalam cerita, pengarang menceritakan tentang pengalaman pribadinya dan kata “aku” yang sering digunakan yaitu pengarang sendiri, sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sudut pandang orang pertama. Adapun pesan dalam novel “Sayap Patah” karya Khalil Gibran adalah pesan tersirat karena pesan novel ini tidak menggambarkan pesan secara langsung kepada pembaca, tetapi penulis menuangkan ceritanya ke dalam sebuah novel agar pembaca dapat memahaminya, sehingga pembaca harus mencari pesan dalam novel “Sayap Patah”. Novel Sayap Patah karya Kahlil Gibran memiliki pesan penting bagi pembacanya. Kita dapat menggunakan pesan ini sebagai panduan dalam hidup kita untuk menjadi orang yang lebih baik. Diantaranya: Tidak semua pemimpin bisa bertindak bijaksana, ikuti saja dia pada hal-hal yang baik. Cinta tidak selalu harus memiliki satu sama lain dan beberapa pesan lainnya.

This study aims to describe the intrinsic elements contained in the novel "Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu" by Kahlil Gibran. The method used by the researcher in this research is a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing the content. The technique used by the researcher is that the researcher carefully and repeatedly reads the data source until the required data is found.
The results of the analysis of the internal elements in the novel "Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu" by Kahlil Gibran: This novel has the main theme as the main theme of the novel "Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu" by Kahlil Gibran is about "love because of sadness behind the suffering of a pair of lovers. separated by the hand of fate, and the story of a bitter first love. The plot used in this novel is mixed. The main characters in this novel are the characters “I”, namely Kahlil Gibran and Selma Karami. Meanwhile, the additional characters in this novel are Faris Afandi Karami, Bishop Bulos Ghalib, Mansour Bey Ghalib, and several other characters whose characters are not described. The setting in this novel is Beirut, Lebanon, Syria, the house of the main character's friend "I", Faris' house, the Sunin mountain area, Kahlil Gibran's room, Selma, and Mansour's house, Faris' room, temples, and graves. While the time setting in this novel is: Spring, the month of the gravestone, at sunset, in the evening, and summer in July. The style of language used by the author in this novel is very distinctive, the author often uses beautiful words such as poetry and also uses sentences with metaphorical meanings, one of which is personification, a type of figurative language that describes the will of the dead. or inanimate objects as if they had human characteristics. The author in this novel tends to use the first point of view. In the story, the author tells about his personal experience and the word "I" which is often used is the author himself, so is included in the category of first-person point of view. The message in the novel " Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu" by Khalil Gibran is an implied message because the message of this novel does not describe the message directly to the reader, but the author pours the story into a novel so that the reader can understand it, so the reader must look for the message in the novel " Al-Ajnihatu Al-Mutakassiratu". The novel Broken Wings by Kahlil Gibran has an important message for its readers. We can use this message as a guide in our lives to become better people. Among them: Not all leaders can act wisely, just follow him on good things. Love doesn't always have to have each other and some other message.

A study on religious and social values in the Novel Jiwa-Jiwa Pemberontak by Kahlil Gibran
ABSTRACT
One of the objective of literary works, especially for novel or prose Active, is to give example if moral (religious and social) values owned by the character. It is important because readers are usually interested in the ideal moral of the characters of the story. Then, it gives them an inspiration to draw lesson from the story. There are, the writer interested to investigate Khalil Gibran literary works entitled “Jiwa-Jiwa Pemberontak”.
The problems of this study are: to describe the religious and moral values found in the novel “Jiwa-Jiwa Pemberontak” by Khalil Gibran and to describe the way the author presents the religious and moral values in his novel.
This is a descriptive qualitative research. The data of this study are analyzed using snowballing technique. The data are analyzed several times relevant to the number of the categories made. In line with the feature of qualitative research, the study is conducted simultaneously, and the conclusion is made after rechecking the data with other data sources. Two kinds of triangulation are applied in this study. First, triangulation of the data sources is done by using other sources of data, namely internet and other books besides the main sources of data that is in the book entitled “Jiwa-Jiwa Pmberontak” by Khali] Gibran. Second, methodological triangulation is done by using multiple data collecting procedures, namely reading the main sources of data, reading other title of Khalil Gibran books / novel and getting data from internet.
The findings show that they are some kinds of religious and social values found in “Jiwa-Jiwa Pemberontak” by Khalil Gibran. It means that religious and social values presented simultaneously, truthfully occurs in the real life of society so far. It is suggested that the readers of this study draw lesson from the moral values presented in Khalil Gibran’s novels. The next researchers are suggested that they conduct research with similar theme with this study but in wider scope and perspective
KONSEP KEBEBASAN DALAM PANDANGAN KAHLIL GIBRAN (STUDI KOMPARASI TERHADAP AJARAN JABARIAH)
Freedom is a complex and multi-dimensional concept that has long been debated and
philosophical questions. This concept involves an understanding of individual involvement in
decision making, Freedom includes individual, social, political, and moral aspects in human life.
In this paper, the author wants to explain how the concept of freedom according to Kahlil Gibran
and also the Moderate Jabariyah School. In this paper, the author describes each view related to
freedom which is then compared regarding similarities and differences.
This study the author uses a data collection method through literature studies or library research.
The author obtained the data through sources relevant to this research such as books, journals,
research results both thesis and thesis, and other sources that support the research. Data
collection techniques start from reading repeatedly about the prose studied, understanding the
contents of the prose studied, looking for books related to research titles to be used as references,
taking some prose contained in the book "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran and analyzing each
sentence that contains language style using descriptive qualitative methods.
The results of this study show that freedom according to Kahlil Gibran in which there
are verses of poetry in which there is an implied meaning about the freedom of human life. As
stated in Kahlil Gibran's work entitled The Prophet there is a definition of implied freedom,
Gibran also discusses many other issues, including, about divinity, love, aesthetics, and several
other discussions. While the classical Jabariyah school considers that this human life has been
arranged by God, so that in living life humans cannot seek their freedom in determining attitudes
and choices. Even this school considers the sinful deeds committed by man also by God's will
without having to be accounted for later. This is different from the moderate Jabariyah school
which considers that human life today occurs by human desire itself and humans must account
for each one, this thought is almost similar to the Qadiriyah school which considers humans can
exercise freedom as they wish with all the consequences that must be received later
Analysis of Gibran Teguh's Online Blusukan Campaign Strategy at The 2020 Solo Elections
This paper aims to analyze the online blusukan campaign strategy used by the Gibran-Teguh in the 2020 Solo Regional Election. This is considered important to analyze because the situation in Indonesia, which is being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, has changed the pattern of people's lives on all fronts, including politics. The candidates for regional heads and mayors are looking for new ways to campaign so that they do not violate the health protocols set by the government. In the Solo Election, one of the candidates, namely Gibran – Teguh, used an online blusukan campaign strategy. The author used the theory of mass society and network society from Jan Van Dijk to find out how this online blusukan strategy was applied to the Solo Election. This paper is conceptual research that uses a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study research methods. This study concludes that the online blusukan campaign strategy is by the types and conditions of the citizen of Solo
Descriptive study on Gibran Khalil Gibrans‘ Point of view about Religion and Religious Thought
Gibran Khalil Gibran was born in Christian family in Lebanon. His mother was a virtuous woman who could familiar him with religious principle from childhood .After some years, he went to the west. He spent the best of his life time there. He made himself a great author and poet by his interest and talent in literature .The comparison between culture of west and south in Gibrans’ mind caused a great change in his life .Although, Niches’ thought had great effect on him and he acted independent on religious in world analysis and had been called infidel, we cant ignore his holy life and affection song which replaced by rebellious and also some of his mystically educations which gave for human who drowned in material things. In this paper, the researchers tried to investigate different part of Gibrans’ character and his belief about Islam, the Jews and Christ, so the method which applied by researchers was descriptive
Figurative Language in the Broken Wings by Kahlil Gibran: An Analysis of Language Style as Stylistic Effect
The objective of this research is to find out the figurative languages in the Broken Wings by Kahlil Gibran. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data was taken from Kahlil Gibran’s novel entitled “The Broken Wings”. The researcher analyzes the data based on Abrams’s theory (1999) about figurative language. The result analysis shows that Based on table 9 above, shows there are several types of figurative language in “The Broken Wings” by Kahlil Gibran. 292 data contains figurative language in 8 types of figurative language including simile, personification, metaphor, synecdoche, hyperbole, paradox, symbol, and proverb. In a simile, there are 128 data (43.8 %). In personification, there are 34 data (11.6 %). In metaphor, there are 33 data (11.3 %). In synecdoche, there are 30 data (10.3 %). In hyperbole, there are 25 data (8.6 %). In a paradox, there are 22 data (7.5 %). In symbol, there are 13 data (4.5 %). In the proverb, there are 7 data (2.4 %). It shows that the most dominant type of figurative language in “The Broken Wings” by Kahlil Gibran is simile as 128 data or 43.8 %. The novel Broken Wings by Kahlil Gibran is a romantic literary novel that tells the fate of Gibran's love story for a Lebanese girl named Selma Karamy. The writing of this novel is very light and easy to read and the way he writes it makes us immersed in the situation of the love story. The style of language used by the author in this novel is very distinctive. The author provides proof that his love story wrapped in romance is written in beautiful and interesting language to the readers
