    Ibn Khaldun was a gifted philosopher of history and the greatest scholars of his time, one of the leading thinkers ever born. He was a founder of the science of sociology which typically distinguishes the way it treats history as a science and provides reasons to support real events. Tradition survey of scientific conducted by Ibn Khaldun began using tradition to think scientifically and to critique the way of thinking " old model "and the works of former scientists, the results of the investigation regarding previous works, has contributed to the academic to the development of science valid, knowledge ilmiah authentic knowledge.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Penelitian disertasi ini adalah usaha untuk mencari jawaban tentang Model pendidikan nilai humanis religius di Madrasah Aliyah di Bojonegoro dengan alur pemetaan terdiri dari tiga Madrasah Aliyah Negeri dan tiga Madrasah Aliyah Swasta, empat hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini dilakukan pertama, adanya indikasi degradasi moral siswa di Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Bojonegoro, kedua, di beberapa Madrasah Aliyah proses pendidikan Islam yang di jalankan masih konvensional bersifat kognitif-oriented, ketiga, proses pembelajaran masih berfokus pada guru sebagai satu-satunya sumber ilmu pengetahuan, keempat, pemahaman akan nilai-nilai humanis religius dan aktualisasinya belum nampak dalam aktivitas siswa di Madrasah. penelitian ini adalah kualitatif fenomenologis dengan teknik analisis diskriptif analitik fokus penelitian adalah bagaimana model pendidikan nilai humanis religius di Madrasah Aliyah Bojonegoro?, apa implikasi pendidikan nilai humanis religius di Madrasah Aliyah Bojonegoro? Apa yang menjadi Hambatan dan tantangan penerapan nilai humanis religius di Madrasah Aliyah Bojonegoro? Temuan penelitian, Model Pendidikan nilai humanis religius di Madrasah Aliyah baik Negeri maupun swasta di kabupaten Bojonegoro peneliti temukan dalam sistem pendidikan integralistik Sedangkan dalam proses pendidikan terdapat dalam hidden kurikulum. Implimentasi nilai humanis religius di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta diwujudkan dalam bentuk kultur madrasah dimana ada aturan dan program pendidikan yang harus dijalankan oleh siswa ketika di lingkungan Madrasah, tujuan pembentukan pendidikan nilai humanis religius terwujudnya kebebasan dan kemandirian belajar, terbentuknya spiritualitas, kesalehan individual dan sosial siswa. Sedangkan dalam implementasi nilai humanis religus peneliti temukan dalam bentuk hidden kurikulum yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. ABSTRACT: This dissertation research is an attempt to find answers about the model of education humanist religious values in Islamic High School at Bojonegoro with a mapping flow consisting three of State Islamic High School and three of Private Islamic High School, there is four of problems behind this research are conducted. First, there is an indication a moral degradation of students in Islamic High School at Bojonegoro, secondly, in some Islamic High School, the process of Islamic education which is run is still conventional such as cognitive- oriented; third, the learning process still focuses on the teacher as one a source of knowledge; fourth, the understanding of the value - religious and their actualization have not been seen activities in Islamic High School. This research is qualitative phenomenological with analytical descriptive analysis technique focus of research is how is the model of education religious humanist value at Islamic High School Bojonegoro?, What is the implication of education humanist religious value in Islamic High School at Bojonegoro? What are the obstacles of applying education religious humanist values in Islamic High School at Bojonegoro? The research findings, integralistic humanist education value formed the education of Islamic High School. Implementation of religious human values in Islamic High School private is manifested in the form of madrasah culture where there are rules and educational programs that must be run by students when in the Madrasah environment, the goal of education religious values is the realization of freedom and independence of learning, the formation of spirituality, individual and social piety of students.     Kyai dan wacana pendidikan berperspektif gender di pesantren: studi kasus pondok pesantren Al-rosyid Dander Bojonegoro

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan tentang pandangan kyai pondok pesantren Al-Rosyid tentang wacana pendidikan berperspektif gender di pesantren, sekaligus ingin mengetahui adakah bias gender dalam pendidikan di pondok pesantren Al-Rosyid Dander Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (filed research) dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Sumber data yang dipergunakan diperoleh dari beberapa informan yang peneliti klasifikasikan menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu kiai-nyai, ustadz-ustadzah dan santri putra-santri putri. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi partisan (observer as observer), independent intervieu, dokumentasi dan kepustakaan yang kemudian diolah untuk dideskripsikan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode GAP (Gender Analisis Pathway) dan trianggulasi data. Proses penelitian yang dilakukan, terdapat beberapa hasil temuan. Pertama, kyai berpandangan progresif (perlu adanya wacana pendidikan berperspektif di pesantren Al-Rosyid Dander Bojonegoro,), pandangan kyai tersebut dipengaruhi dari dua faktor, yaitu faktor pengalaman pendidikan dan pengalaman hidup di luar pesantren. Sedangkan temuan kedua, pesantren Al-Rosyid Dander Bojonegoro tidak mengenal budaya patriarkhi, dibuktikan dengan temukan berbentuk aturan-aturan di pesantren. Aturan-aturan tersebut, terdapat peluang dan kesempatan yang sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Perjuangan pendidikan kesetaraan jender masih perlu dilakukan, maka perlu dicarikan sebuah formulasi solusi yang lebih menitiktekankan fakta alternatif interpretasi keagamaan yang lebih progresif, sehingga agama dan keberagamaan masyarakat Islam dapat mendukung program kesetaraan jender

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
