Vlastita pacijentova centrifugirana krv, odnosno plazma obogaćena trombocitima potiče aktivaciju fibroblasta i sintezu kolagena te regenerira kožu vraćajući joj zdraviji i odmorniji izgled. One of the most prominent signs of skin aging is the appearance of wrinkles and the loss of volume and plumpness in the face. Nowadays, wrinkle filling and adding volume is successfully done using non-surgical techniques of skin rejuvenation such as the application of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. The injectable hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers are some of the most popular non-invasive facial treatments. The combination of dermal fillers aimed at adding volume and correcting static wrinkles and botulinum toxin for treating dynamic wrinkles has shown to be extremely successful. While botox is used for treating the upper third of the face, dermal fillers are given an advantage when treating the lower third of the face. With an increase in demand, the market is now offering plenty of materials. While most of them can cause certain complications, they are also transient and brief. For the dermatology correction procedures to be successful, it is important to have the perfect knowledge of facial anatomy and to choose the correct materials and application techniques. That way, the possibilities of complications, whether smaller or more serious such as blindness and tissue necrosis, are significantly reduced. Also, the risks of complications and mutual satisfaction are ensured by choosing the right patients and clearly defining the expectations as well as the possibilities of the treatments. Platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) is popular because of the autologous material which achieves the rejuvenation effect. The patient’s own centrifuged blood, i.e. platelet-enriched plasma, is what starts the activation of fibroblasts and collagen synthesis, regenerates the skin, and thus makes it appear healthier and well-rested

Cilj ovoga rada jest da temeljem relevantne hrvatske i međunarodne literature obrazloži i dokaže važnost primjene društvenih mreža u korporativnoj komunikaciji. Treći dio rada piše o korporativnim komunikacijama i društvenim mrežama u korporativnim komunikacijama. Četvrti dio govori o društvenim mrežama i community managmentu, a posljednje poglavlje donosi analizu društvenih mreža unutar pet korporacija. The purpose of this paper is to explain and demonstrate the importance of social networks in corporate communication based on relevant Croatian and international literature. Uvod: Kardiovaskularne bolesti (KVB) obuhvaćaju široku skupinu bolesti srca i krvnih žila, poput koronarne i cerebrovaskularne bolesti, bolesti perifernih arterija. Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) encompass a wide range of heart and blood vessel conditions, such as coronary and cerebrovascular diseases, and peripheral artery disease. The main causes of CVD are linked to unhealthy lifestyle habits and both modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors. Despite advances in medical diagnostics and therapy, CVD remains the leading cause of mortality and one of the main causes of hospitalization in Croatia. Subjects and methods: The research was conducted in Sinj from March 1st to March 31st, 2025, on 50 participants over the age of 40. Demographic data (age, gender, level of education), blood pressure, smoking status, and blood cholesterol levels were collected. Exclusion criteria included individuals under 40 years of age and patients with incomplete medical documentation. Results: Out of the total 50 participants, 70% were women. A statistically significant number of participants had a moderate cardiovascular risk (χ² test; P < 0.001), with a median risk of 3.63%. A significantly higher risk was observed among participants with a lower level of education (p = 0.011), participants older than 66 years (Dunn; p < 0.05), and smokers (Mann-Whitney test; p = 0.017). Gender did not show statistically significant differences in terms of cardiovascular risk. Conclusions: The research conducted in Sinj showed that the majority of participants have a moderate cardiovascular risk, which increases with age and is higher among those with lower levels of education. Cardiovascular risk is also higher among smokers

This article proposes a comparison between La Celestina and La Dorotea based on their discursive particularities. From the reign of the Catholic Monarchs, a series of literary innovations took place that modelled a creative line with projection until the Golden Age: the configuration of a self-conscious author who narrates himself, the disappearance of traditional rules of style for the construction of type-characters, the innovative use of a "copious style" in which vocabulary of different etymologies and registers proliferate and intertwine.Fil: Chicote, Gloria. Darwin, feminism, and everyday heterosexuality

Deposited with permission of the author. © 2009 Dr. Laura Dorotea TarziaThis thesis investigates whether feminism has successfully challenged evolutionary psychology models of heterosexuality at an everyday level. The thesis engages with debates between feminism and biological determinism, focusing on Darwin’s theory of evolution and the ways in which it has been used to justify gender inequality. In particular, the emerging field of evolutionary psychology is criticised, as well as self-help books on sex and relationships such as Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, since both reinforce evolutionary models of heterosexuality that are harmful to women. The thesis used a combination of quantitative and qualitative social research to explore the perceptions and experiences of Victorian university students, in the form of small focus group discussions, a large-scale online survey, and qualitative postal questionnaires. The thesis finds that, despite years of feminist struggle, evolutionary psychology models of heterosexuality are dominant in many ways within the context of everyday heterosexuality

Cervantes and Lope: the Adventure of Writing from Novelas a Marcia Leonarda to La Dorotea

This article focuses different Lope de Vega´s works published after 1620 from La Filomena to La Dorotea in order to describe the author in them, as a writer who investigates, an intellectual who speculates and as a reader who comments himself. In this way this paper analyzes how Lope is the agent of a creative act: the act of writing a world that writes and writes him.Fil: Brito Díaz, Carlos. Universidad de La Laguna

Prikaz knjigeThis book gives a legal analysis of the conflict of law rules for maritime torts. After an introductory, in the second part of the book the author analyzes the general conflict of law rules for torts lex loci delicti, and the specific for maritime torts lex bandi. In the third part the author deals with the problem of conflict of law rules for three different cases of extra-contractual liability in maritime law: a collision, personal injuries and wrongful death and pollution of the sea caused by a vessel. Special attention is paid to the application of the specific conflict of law rules lex bandi in cases of vessels flying flags of convenience and bareboat charter. In the final part author stresses that in many legal systems exists a strong tendency of rejection of the fixed and rigid conflict of law rule lex loci delicti (lex bandi) and elastic conflict of law principle of the closest connection has been introduced. The book is written clearly and concisely and is a very useful source of information for further consideration
