A partir da reexão a respeito de obra da escritora e poetisa Renata Pallottini, o texto reflete sobre a influência do público no desenvolvimento da obra cultural artística, traço fortalecido pela indústria cultural. Com base nas leituras de Georges Simenon, a autora escreve um romance policial – Chez Mme. Maigret – no qual a protagonista é a esposa do famoso inspetor de polícia da França Jules Maigret. Assim Pallottini dá vida à personagem e participa do universo literário de Simenon.Based on the study of the work of the writer and poet Renata Pallottini, the article discusses the inuence of the public on the development of artistic and cultural works, consolidated by the cultural industry. Using her readings of Georges Simenon as a starting point, the author writes a detective novel named Chez Mme. Maigret, in which the main character is the wife of the famous French Police Inspector Jules Maigret. Pallottini brings the character to life and participates in Simenon’s literary universe

DEAMBULAÇÕES NO TEATRO POÉTICO DE RENATA PIMENTEL
In this work, we focus on the work Denso e Leve como o voo das Árvores (2015), by Recife poet Renata Pimentel, born in 1972. The book is articulated around cycles of nature. Through geopoetry (SILVA JR, 2015), we advance through poetic voices in this book which, according to the author herself, is a dramaturgy-cycle of poems – set that articulates aesthetic, ethical and political dimensions of the poet-nature relationship. This investigation is guided by the studies of Augusto Silva Júnior (2015), Walter Benjamin (1989), Sigmund Freud (2011), Otávio Paz (2012) and other scholars, whose contributions add in a dialogical way with this effort of producing responsive literary critic about a living poet of Brazilian geopeosia.Este estudo analisa a publicação Denso e leve como o voo das árvores (2015), da poeta recifense contemporânea Renata Pimentel. O livro se articula em torno dos ciclos da natureza. Com amparo na teoria da geopoesia (SILVA JR, 2015), avançamos por entre vozes poéticas nessa obra que, segundo a própria autora, é uma dramaturgia-ciclo de poemas – conjunto que articula dimensões estéticas, éticas e políticas da relação poeta-natureza. O itinerário crítico aqui empreendido orienta-se pelos estudos de Augusto Silva Junior (2015), Walter Benjamin (1989), Sigmund Freud (2011), Otávio Paz (2012) e de outros estudiosos, cujas contribuições somem dialogicamente (BAKHTIN, 2010) com a proposta de se produzir crítica literária responsiva sobre uma poeta viva da geopoesia brasileira
Clinical significance of BORIS and MYC expression in hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma
Karcinom pločastih stanica hipofarinksa pripada skupini zloćudnih
bolesti s lošom prognozom. Glavni čimbenici rizika za nastanak ove bolesti dovode
do globalne hipometilacije DNA i posljedične aktivacije gena uključenih u zloćudnu
preobrazbu. U zloćudnim tumorima dolazi do aktivacije gena BORIS, što se povezuje
sa promjenama u aktivnosti gena MYC.
Provedeno je retrospektivno istraživanje izraženosti gena i proteina
BORIS i MYC na 59 uzoraka karcinoma pločastih stanica hipofarinksa. Analizirana je
povezanost izraženosti istraživanih transkripata i proteina sa klasičnim prognostičkim
pokazateljima: veličinom tumora, zahvaćenošću limfnih čvorova i diferencijacijom
tumora. Provedena je analiza utjecaja izraženosti transkripata i proteina BORIS i
MYC na petogodišnje preživljenje oboljelih od karcinoma pločastih stanica
hipofarinksa.
Pronađene su dvije transkripcijske inačice gena BORIS, izražene u
33,9% (BORISd) i 76,3% (BORISk) uzoraka, koje su statistički značajno utjecale na
petogodišnje preživljenje oboljelih (BORISd, p=0,001; BORISk, p=0,011). Protein
BORIS je pokazan u 42,4% tumora i nije imao utjecaj na preživljenje, kao niti protein
MYC, bez obzira na unutarstanični smještaj. Multivarijatnom analizom podataka
metodom rekurzivnog particioniranja pokazano je da izraženost transkripcijske
inačice BORIS d najsnažniji prognostički pokazatelj rizika od smrtnog ishoda oboljelih

cancer are known to cause global DNA hypomethylation and activate cancer-related
genes. BORIS is often aberrantly activated in cancer and is involved in activation of

study of 59 hypopharyngeal carcinoma samples. BORIS and MYC expression was
analyzed regarding to conventional prognostic factors: tumor size, lymph node
involvement and the degree of tumor differentiation. The influence of BORIS and
MYC expression on five-year survival rate was analyzed.
Two detected BORIS transcript variants, BORISd and BORISk, were
expressed in 33.9% and 76.3% of tumor analyzed tumors. The expression of both
BORIS transcript variants significantly influenced the five-year survival rate (BORISd,
p=0,001; BORISk, p=0,011). BORIS protein was detected in 42.4% of tumor samples
and its expression had no impact on patients survival rate. The expression of MYC,
regardless of its subcellular localization had no influence on patients survival.

Binding of CTCF and BORIS to TOP2A promoter in Cal 27 cells
Topoizomeraza IIα (kodirana genom TOP2A) je enzim neophodan za preživljavanje stanica. Razina tog enzima je često povišena u zloćudnim tumorima i povezuje se sa osjetljivošću stanica na citotoksične lijekove. Protein CTCF i njegov paralog BORIS, koji se ispoljava samo u subpopulaciji spermatocita te aberantno u brojnim tumorima, imaju važnu ulogu u uspostavljanju i održavanju metilacije DNK i regulaciji transkripcije brojnih gena. S obzirom da se ova dva proteina mogu vezati na ista mjesta u genomu, ali imaju različitu ulogu u regulaciji transkripcije, cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi da li se oni vežu na promotor gena TOP2A. Tretmanom 3- aminobenzamidom sam potaknula ispoljavanje proteina BORIS u stanicama Cal 27 te metodom kromatinske imunoprecipitacije pokazala da se proteini CTCF i BORIS vežu na navedeni promotor. Rezultati ovog istraživanja će olakšati upoznavanje uloge ovih proteina u regulaciji transkripcije gena TOP2A i primjenjivosti njezine modulacije u nalaženju novih pristupa u liječenju tumora.The enzyme topoisomerase IIα (encoded by TOP2A) is essential for cell survival. Its expression is often upregulated in malignant tumors and has been implicated in cellular sensitivity to cytotoxic drugs. Protein CTCF and its paralogue BORIS, which is normally expressed only in a subpopulation of spermatocytes and aberrantly in various tumors, have important roles in the establishment and maintenance of DNA methylation and transcriptional regulation. Since those two proteins bind to the same DNA motifs, but have different roles in transcriptional regulation, the aim of this study was to investigate their association with the TOP2A promoter. With an 3-aminobenzamide treatment I have induced BORIS in Cal 27 cells and by chromatin immunoprecipitation demonstrated that CTCF and BORIS bind to the TOP2A promoter. Results of this study facilitate further investigation of their role in the regulation of TOP2A transcription and the applicability of its modulation in the therapy of malignant tumors
