ALMA and Herschel observations of the prototype dusty and polluted white dwarf G29-38
JF gratefully acknowledges the support of the STFC via an Ernest Rutherford Fellowship. AB acknowledges the support of the ANR-2010 BLAN-0505-01 (EXOZODI). MCW and OP are grateful for the support of the European Union through ERC grant number 279973.ALMA Cycle 0 and Herschel PACS observations are reported for the prototype, nearest, and brightest example of a dusty and polluted white dwarf, G29-38. These long-wavelength programmes attempted to detect an outlying, parent population of bodies at 1–100 au, from which originates the disrupted planetesimal debris that is observed within 0.01 au and which exhibits LIR/L* = 0.039. No associated emission sources were detected in any of the data down to LIR/L* ∼ 10−4, generally ruling out cold dust masses greater than 1024–1025 g for reasonable grain sizes and properties in orbital regions corresponding to evolved versions of both asteroid and Kuiper belt analogues. Overall, these null detections are consistent with models of long-term collisional evolution in planetesimal discs, and the source regions for the disrupted parent bodies at stars like G29-38 may only be salient in exceptional circumstances, such as a recent instability. A larger sample of polluted white dwarfs, targeted with the full ALMA array, has the potential to unambiguously identify the parent source(s) of their planetary debris.Peer reviewe
EKSISTENSI ADAT DALAM KETERATURAN SOSIAL ETNIS DAYAK DI KAMPUNG BONSOR BINUA SAKANIS DAE
The Dayak community in the village of Bonsor Binua Sakanis Dae uses custom as a dispute resolution or socio-cultural problem, this study aimed to reveal the existence of adat in the social order of the Dayak community in the Bonsor Binua Sakanis Dae Village. This research used an ethnographic approach, which involved in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and also the documentation of data and information. This research shows that custom, as a legal system in the life of the people in Kampung Bonsor Binua Sakanis Dae, can be seen in four phenomena: (1) the custom is recognized by the people in Bonsor Village as a system of values and law, (2) it is shown in the existence of a structured traditional leadership pattern in the community form of Binua, (3) there are procedures for resolving disputes/problems in the form of baras banyu, buah tangah, tail, and starch of life, and (4) having a genealogical territorial range that applies based on customary areas.
Post-main-sequence evolution of A star debris discs
The population of debris discs on the main sequence is well constrained, however very little is known about debris discs around evolved stars. In this work we provide a theoretical framework that considers the effects of stellar evolution on debris discs; firstly considering the evolution of an individual disc from the main sequence through to the white dwarf phase, then extending this to the known population of debris discs around main sequence A stars. It is found that discs around evolved stars are harder to detect than on the main sequence. In the context of our models discs should be detectable with Herschel or Alma on the giant branch, subject to the uncertain effect of sublimation on the discs. The best chances are for hot young white dwarfs, fitting nicely with the observations e.g the helix nebula (Su et al. 2007) and 9 systems presented by Chu & Bilikova
A analysis of the copper age structures at through unpublished documents from the bonsor funds and hitotiography data

However, most of the archeological structures and products related to this culture had been detected in his excavations in 1908 and 1911, the results of which were never printed. For this reason, the main aim of this paper is to reveal these data and, in this way, to put an end to some disorder found in the following refeferences to Bonsor about this deposit

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
