Ensino de história indígena por meio da biografia da Eliane Potiguara

Defesa : Curitiba, 18/12/2025Inclui referênciasResumo: Este trabalho apresenta uma sequência didática problematizadora que trata sobre a História Indígena no Brasil, com foco nas mulheres indígenas, através da Biografia da autora Eliane Potiguara. Foi motivada pela inquietação frente à invisibilidade feminina e indígena no currículo escolar apesar, da vigência da Lei nº 11.645/2008. A abordagem sobre o gênero e sobre os povos indígenas no Brasil permanece superficial nos materiais didáticos e na formação de professores. Propomos uma didática decolonial, antirracista e antimachista para o 9º Ano do Ensino Fundamental, visando reconhecer as mulheres indígenas como sujeitas históricas. A metodologia centra-se no estudo da biografia da escritora Eliane Potiguara como ferramenta de combate ao racismo e ao machismo. A presente dissertação foi dividida em três momentos: a análise da representação da mulher indígena sob a ótica da decolonialidade, o exame da legislação educacional nacional e capixaba através dos currículos vigentes e a apresentação da proposta pedagógica. Centrar o currículo em vozes indígenas femininas torna o ensino de História um instrumento de reparação histórica e valorização da presença das mulheres indígenas na construção do BrasilAbstract: This work presents a problem-solving teaching sequence that addresses Indigenous History in Brazil, focusing on Indigenous women, through the biography of the author Eliane Potiguara. It was motivated by concern about the invisibility of women and Indigenous people in the school curriculum, despite the enactment of Law No. 11.645/2008. The approach to gender and Indigenous peoples in Brazil remains superficial in teaching materials and teacher training. We propose a decolonial, antiracist, and anti-sexist teaching method for the 9th grade of elementary school, aiming to recognize Indigenous women as historical subjects. The methodology centers on the study of the biography of the writer Eliane Potiguara as a tool to combat racism and sexism. This dissertation is divided into three parts: an analysis of the representation of Indigenous women from a decoloniality perspective, an examination of national and Espírito Santo state educational legislation through current curricula, and a presentation of the pedagogical proposal. Centering the curriculum on Indigenous female voices makes the teaching of History an instrument of historical reparation and appreciation of the presence of Indigenous women in the construction of Brazi

extremely necessary as they enrich and produce a social, political and cultural debate on
concepts such as nation, identity, cultural production and social equality. Indigenous
Literature and, especially, that produced by indigenous women such as Eliane Potiguara, are
relevant within the studies of literary criticism. Therefore, the present work has as main
objective to propose an analysis of the political speeches of the author Eliane Potiguara in
order to analyze the concepts of Identity, woman and Earth in her literary work Metade cara,
half mask (2004) as well as in her texts, published on social media. From this point, it is
intended to deepen the studies on the textualities of the literary corpus to which the analysis is
intended, as well as to analyze the concept of identity in the works of Eliane Potiguara,
covering discussions about culture and the relation of confrontation with the other, identifying
in the works reflections on gender and the place of speech of indigenous women in society
and, finally, point out the reflections on Ecofeminism in the author's discourse.A fala de mulheres, homossexuais, negros, indígenas e outras minorias étnicas são
extremamente necessárias pois enriquecem e produzem um debate social, político e cultural
sobre conceitos como nação, identidade, produção cultural e igualdade social. A Literatura
indígena e, principalmente, aquela produzida por mulheres indígenas como Eliane Potiguara
mostram-se pertinentes dentro dos estudos de crítica literária. Portanto, o presente trabalho
tem como objetivo principal propor uma análise dos discursos políticos da autora Eliane
Potiguara a fim de analisar os conceitos de Identidade, Mulher e Terra em sua obra literária
Metade cara, metade máscara (2004) assim como em textos seus, publicados em mídias
sociais. A partir desse ponto pretende-se aprofundar os estudos sobre as textualidades do
corpus literário a que se destina a análise, assim como analisar o conceito identidade nas obras
de Eliane Potiguara, abarcando discussões sobre cultura e relação de confronto com o outro,
identificar nas obras da autora as reflexões sobre gênero e o lugar de fala da mulher indígena
na sociedade e, por fim, apontar as reflexões sobre Ecofeminismo no discurso da autora

No full textEste trabalho apresenta uma reflexão e articulação das reportagens do livro A vida que ninguém vê, da jornalista Eliane Brum com o livro A invenção do cotidiano, de Michel de Certeau. O estudo busca discutir acerca do cotidiano de personagens inseridos numa geografia cultural em transição. Para análise foram pinçadas histórias de personagens com algo em comum: a invisibilidade. Também a discussão sobre a contribuição da autora para a formação de uma paisagem humana dos espaços urbanos. Para tanto, é comum encontrar nos jornais notícias com base estatística, e na busca de trazer à tona o heterogêneo do cotidiano, Eliane Brum desvela em suas reportagens um cotidiano escondido pelas estatísticas e pelas máscaras da noticiabilidade homogênea.Palavras-chave: Jornalismo literário. Invenção do cotidiano.AbstractThis work presents a reflection and articulation of the reports of the book A vida que ninguém vê, of the journalist Eliane Brum with the book The practice of everday life, of Michel de Certeau. The study seeks to discuss the daily life of characters inserted in a cultural geography in transition. For analysis we have pinned stories of characters with something in common: invisibility. Also the discussion about the contribution of the author to the formation of a human landscape of the urban spaces. For that, it is common to find news in the newspapers with statistical bases, and in the search to bring up the heterogeneous of daily life, Eliane Brum reveals in her reports a daily hidden by statistics and by the masks of homogeneous news.Keywordas: Literary journalism. Modeling regulation of transcription initiation
No full textThe concept of activation in transcriptional regulation is based on the assumption that product mRNA increases monotonically as a function of regulator concentration. We analyze the Shea-Ackers model of transcription and find this assumption to be correct only for the simplest of promoters. We define a new regulatory constant that is a nonlinear combination of association and transcription initiation constants characterizing activation and repression for more complicated promoters. Our results can guide the synthesis of new promoters and lead to a deeper understanding of the constraints guiding the natural promoters evolution. Using a validated mathematical model based on the Shea-Ackers transcription rate function, we then show that two modes of upregulation have very different effects on the function of promoter PRM in phage lambda. We predict that if CI2 bound to OR2 produced equal increase in RNAP-DNA binding constant (compared to wild-type increase in the closed-open transition probability), the lysogen would be significantly less stable. We then focus on the promoter clearance process during transcription initiation. Our work builds upon an initial sequence-dependent three-pathway model proposed by Xue et al. After making several modifications to this model and not being able to satisfactorily match experimental data, we introduce a new parameter to the model: the possible formation of secondary structure in the single stranded scrunched DNA accumulated before RNA polymerase is able to escape the promoter .Ph. Palavra-alma: o grito da terra em Eliane Potiguara
No full textDissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura, 2022.A partir do livro Metade cara, metade máscara, de Eliane Potiguara, esta dissertação se propõe investigar as possibilidades de criação de mundos, com foco na relação indissociável entre identidade e território indígenas. Aqui, se a ancestralidade é fio condutor da transtemporalidade, a memória, por sua vez, é catalisadora da revisão do contexto histórico de insurgência que marca as manifestações lírico-políticas da autora. No percurso, a história da conquista e as premissas ocidentais que delimitam, fragmentam e fronterizam o espaço-tempo são depostas; o [corpo]território é reestruturado com base nos preceitos comuns às cosmovisões indígenas. As proposições são sustentadas pela aproximação à identidade da autora, ou seja, pela análise do seu itinerário de retomada identitária (como pertencente ao povo potiguara) e de autoelaboração autoral; em sua produção literária, igualmente ressaltamos o impacto dos conflitos territoriais que atravessam a identidade indígena: daí que nas palavras escritas escutemos o eco de vozes ancestrais, sustentadas através da oralidade. Já no tempo dos sonhos, as palavras metamorfoseadas em alma nutrem as raízes expandindo o possível: do português ao potyguês, afirmamos a unidade da crítica e, sobretudo, da criação indígena.Abstract: Based on the book Metade cara, metade máscara from the author Eliane Potiguara, this master thesis proposes to investigate the possibilities to create worlds, focusing on the inseparable relation between identity and indigenous lands. In this piece, if ancestry is the conducting line of transtemporality, memory, on other hand, is a catalyst of the historic context, of insurgencies, revision, which marks the lyrical-political manifestations of the author. Along the thesis, the history of conquer and ocidental premises that delimitate, fragmentate and fronterize time and space are deposed; the [body]territory is restored based on common pressets to the indigenous cosmovision. The propositions are sustained by the proximity to the author?s identity, that is, by the analysis of her identity?s resumption itinerary (as she belongs to the potiguara?s people) and original self elaboration; in her literary production, we also emphasize the impact of territorial conflicts that cross the indigenous identity: so we hear in the written words the echo of ancestral voices, sustained throughout orality. But in the dreams? time, the metamorphosed words in soul nurture the routes expanding the possible: from portuguese to potyguês, we affirm the unity of criticism, and, overall, of indigenous creation
Professional WhatsApp use among health workers in Sub-Saharan Africa
No full textBackground: The use of social media and particularly WhatsApp for professional and job-related purposes is very popular among health professionals in Sub-Saharan African contexts and beyond. Regardless of a number of benefits, the platforms’ adoption in health professional settings brings about an array of challenges and its professional and sensible use requires health professionals to develop and apply a set of digital competencies. Despite these issues, very little is known about this topic. Objectives, approach and methods: The study’s main objectives were to explore challenges ingrained in health professionals’ use of social media and particularly WhatsApp (RQ1) and to identify competencies that professionals need to overcome these challenges and to use WhatsApp in a professional manner (RQ2). These were explored with a systematic literature review in the databases Pub Med databases and Ovid Medline, and through the selective analysis of existing guidelines. In addition to the more general analysis of health professionals’ social media use in the systematic literature review, RQ1 and 2 were also explored specifically with regard to the use of WhatsApp by nurses in the countries of Nigeria, Zambia and South Africa using six focus groups (n=29)...

Apuração jornalística em vias de ternura: a narrativa de sentidos de Eliane Brum
No full textOn a normative perspective of Communication (WOLTON, 2004, 2006), this article is dedicated to investigate the journalistic dynamics triggered by Eliane Brum in the text Os vampiros da realidade só matam pobres (The vampires of reality only kill poor), produced for the book Dignidade! (Dignity!, 2012), in the context of celebrating the 40 years of operation of the Doctors Without Borders organization. In Brum’s report on Bolivian peasants affected by Chagas’ disease, we discuss the presence of parameters of dialogical treatment (BUBER, 1979) and sensorial (MEDINA, 2016), outlining a narrative that is open to author mediation and intersubjectiveness. Contrary to the positivist grammar that guides the professional culture, it is proposed, therefore, the adoption of tenderness (RESTREPO, 1998) as a guiding procedure for journalistic verification.Atento ao horizonte relacional da Comunicação destacado por Wolton (2004, 2006), este artigo se dedica a investigar a dinâmica jornalística acionada por Eliane Brum no texto Os vampiros da realidade só matam pobres, produzido para o livro Dignidade! Perspectivas do “Eu” na obra Meus desacontecimentos, de Eliane Brum
No full textA pesquisa analisa a obra da escritora Eliane Brum, meus desacontecimentos - a história da minha vida com as palavras (2017), por meio das teorias que versam acerca da categoria literária do narrador e das temáticas da memória e do feminismo decolonial. A fim de desvelar as possibilidades que são assumidas pelo narrador em primeira pessoa, como Autobiografia e/ou Autoficção (LEJEUNE, 2008; ALBERCA, 2007; MANZANO; 2003), fez-se um apanhado teórico que ilumina a leitura do texto de Brum. A temática da memória (ASSMANN, 2011; JELIN, 2002; SARLO; 2007), elemento desencadeador das narrativas, permite diferentes leituras e asserções em torno do tão debatido conceito de Autoficção, visto sua posição bastante fronteiriça e intersticial nas teorias contemporâneas. A figura do autor é discutida visando observar e avançar nas teorias acerca do autor contemporâneo (BARTHES, 1988; FOUCAULT, 2006; COMPAGNON, 2003; HOISEL, 2019). Desenvolve-se também uma análise do cambiante conceito do eu (HALL, 2002; QUIJANO, 2005; 2014) e da subjetivação, o que se revela crucial para entender a presença notadamente vasta em produções literárias atuais.The research analyzes the work of the writer Eliane Brum, meus desacontecimentos – a história da minha vida com as palavras (2017), through theories that deal with the literary category of the narrator and the themes of memory and decolonial feminism. In order to reveal the possibilities that are assumed by the narrator in the first person, such as Autobiography and/or Autofiction (LEJEUNE, 2008; ALBERCA, 2007; MANZANO; 2003), a theoretical overview was made that illuminates the reading of Brum's text. The theme of memory (ASSMANN, 2011; JELIN, 2002; SARLO; 2007), a triggering element of the narratives, allows for different readings and assertions around the much-debated concept of Autofiction, given its rather borderline and interstitial position in contemporary theories. The figure of the author is discussed in order to observe and advance theories about the contemporary author (BARTHES, 1988; FOUCAULT, 2006; COMPAGNON, 2003; HOISEL, 2019). An analysis of the changing concept of the self (HALL, 2002; QUIJANO, 2005; 2014) and subjectivation is also developed, which proves to be crucial to understanding the remarkably vast presence in current literary productions.La investigación analiza la obra de la escritora Eliane Brum, meus desacontecimentos - a história da minha vida com as palavras (2017) por medio de las teorías que discuten acerca de la categoría literaria del narrador, de la memoria y del feminismo decolonial. Con el objetivo de desvelar las posibilidades que son asumidas por el narrador en primera persona, como Autobiografía y/o Autoficción (LEJEUNE, 2008; ALBERCA, 2007; MANZANO; 2003), se hizo una selección teórica de autores que, a partir de sus obras, alumbran la lectura de los textos de Brum. La temática de la memoria (ASSMANN, 2011; JELIN, 2002; SARLO; 2007), elemento desencadenador de las narrativas, permite distintas lecturas y aserciones alrededor del tan discutido concepto de Autoficción, dada su posición fronteriza e intersticial en las teorías contemporáneas.
