No full textThis dissertation detailedly introduces how to calculate EVA and how to use EVA to value shareholder wealth in a Chinese listed corporation. It is involved with the calculation of NOPAT and capital employed adjusted from financial report, the estimation of the discount rate, the projection of company's future performance and the final valuation of shareholder wealth. Besides this, this paper demonstrates the validity and reliability of EVA as a measure of shareholder value in Bird through Pearson's correlation test model. In addition, this paper validates the theoretical consistency of EVA and DCF as a measure of shareholder value in Bird. Incidentally, this paper examines the efficiency of Chinese stock market through the comparison between external market value and internal intrinsic value of shareholders in Bird and finds that the stock market in China is highly volatile and speculative. Finally, the study discloses that Bird is a value destroyed corporation and the most effective and direct measure for Bird top management is to sell the company as quickly as possible

No full textLaporan akhir ini membahas tentang kinerja keuangan perusahaan PT Blue Bird Tbk tahun 2016-2018 dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan Economic Value Added (EVA) dan Return on Assets (ROA) dari hasil perhitungan EVA dan ROA tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan metode Economic Value Added (EVA) kinerja keuangan perusahaan selama tiga tahun terakhir mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya. EVA yang dihasilkan perusahaan tersebut bernilai negatif (-). Sedangkan menggunakan perhitungan Return on Assets (ROA) perusahan tersebut mengalami penurunan keuntungan setiap tahunnya dan tidak sesuai standar pengukuran perusahaan. Sebaiknya perusahaan melakukan evaluasi dan strategi terhadap bagaimana cara meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan

She talks about family life and her relationships with both her parents. Books were important to Eva from an early age and she was thrilled to study journalism in Dublin and later her love of language led her into a career in corporate communications. She contrasts the cultural and social scene in Dublin to that in Northampton. She avoided the more traditional Irish in England ‘scene’ after emigrating in the 1990s. Throughout her interview, Eva provides an insightful commentary into her own and others’ attitudes to women, education, employment, sex, contraception, mothering and loss. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with the obesity of older school age children and their dependence on eating and exercising habits. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge regarding overweight and obesity, disease diagnosis, epidemiological trends and complications related to obesity. Emphasis is put on the evaluation of reasons to why this problem occurs, such as disease prevention, dietary and exercise recommendations, its therapy and inclusion of the issue with the secondary school curriculum. The practical part contains research focused on the nutritional status, eating and exercise habits of pupils in secondary school. The survey results are designed for use in pedagogical practice. No full textEconomic Value Added (EVA is one approach to measuring the financial performance of a company by focusing on the creation of value-added enterprises. EVA shows how big the resulting rate of return on the investment made by shareholders. In this paper, the object used by the author is wrong a company engaged in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange. data used is the consolidated financial statements of the company in 2011-2012. purpose of this paper is to measure the financial performance of the EVA approach to food and beverage companies 2011-2012. Results analysis of the EVA calculation shows that by using the EVA approach, the financial performance of food and beverage companies can experience a volatile period 2011-2012. In 2011 the company's financial performance has improved food and beverage d in the presence of EVA is positive that the company has succeeded in achieving its goal create value-added enterprises. But in 2012 the company's food and beverage show poor financial performance since EVA generated negative worth. Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências e Engenharia de Materiais.No mercado cada vez mais competitivo, a sobrevivência das indústrias depende da redução dos custos de produção e do aumento significativo da produtividade. Estudar as propriedades de compósitos poliméricos utilizados em processos de transformações de polímeros é uma das maneiras encontradas para reduzir os custos. Por outro lado, a possibilidade de empregar tecnologias como a co-extrusão, também apresenta vantagens econômicas. A produção de compósitos poliméricos não pode ser realizada sem que sejam previstos ou calculados os impactos gerados no processamento e as modificações provocadas nas propriedades físicas, químicas, térmicas, mecânicas, morfológicas e reológicas dos materiais. A adição de 30% de CaCO3-EVA aumentou a estabilidade térmica do polipropileno na ordem de 32,6ºC, reduzindo a propriedade referência para projetos de embalagens plásticas, o DTUL em 15ºC. Volumes mássicos até o limite de 20% da composição de CaCO3-EVA podem ser utilizados nas formulações dos compósitos de polipropileno. Acima desse valor, podem ocorrer problemas com a estabilidade do fluxo do material fundido nos processos de extrusão ou co-extrusão, prejudicando, consequentemente, as propriedades mecânicas dos compósitos. Para preservar a integridade durante e após o envasamento de produtos, sugere-se que a composição de CaCO3-EVA seja utilizada na linha de embalagens projetadas para atender a solicitações mecânicas entre 20 MPa e 30 MPa e térmicas na faixa de 20ºC a 50ºC

No full textLessing's Nathan the Wise (1779), exemplary for its enlightenment and humanist ideals, assembles Jews, Christians, and Muslims in dialogue during the medieval crusades in Jerusalem. Their encounters allow them to transcend conflict, to recognize their common humanity, and to resolve their differences through dialectical discourse and group arguments. In this article Eva Urban looks closely at the representation of enlightenment in this play and examines the potential role of plays and theatre practice in developing autonomous citizenship and intercultural understanding. Particular reference is made to the 2013 Berliner Ensemble production of Nathan the Wise in relation to aesthetic debates about modern political drama. Eva Urban is a British Academy Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of English, University of Cambridge, and an Associate of Clare Hall, Cambridge. She is the author of Community Politics and the Peace Process in Contemporary Northern Irish Drama (Peter Lang, 2010) and has published a number of articles on political drama and Irish studies
