Dans cet article on analyse les rapports entre une cantiga de amigo de don Denis, roi de Portugal, et une autre « cantiga » du jongleur Pero Meogo. Toutes les deux ont un contenu amoureux qui s'exprime par un répertoire de symboles naturalistes très enracinés dans toute la tradition romane. La comparaison des éléments paysagistes dans la chanson galaïco- portugaise avec la poésie lyrique populaire européenne, la péninsulaire des xve au xvne siècles surtout, et, dans une moindre mesure, avec la française, permet d'interpréter convenablement le motif du vent, aussi bien dans la chanson qui fait l'objet de cette étude que dans la « chanson de toile » française.En este artículo se analizan las relaciones entre una cantiga de amigo de don Denis, rey de Portugal, y otra del juglar Pero Meogo. Ambas expresan un contenido amoroso mediante un repertorio de símbolos naturalistas muy arraigados en toda la tradición romance. La comparación de los elementos paisajísticos en la cantiga gallego-portuguesa con la lírica popularizante europea, especialmente la peninsular de los siglos xv a xvii, y, en menor medida, de la francesa, permite interpretar adecuadamente el motivo del viento, tanto en la cantiga objeto de este estudio como en la chanson de toile francesa.Beltrán Pepió V. No full textLa lámina de fibra para la elaboración de punteras y contrafuertes es un producto de uso industrial utilizado por los grandes, medianos y pequeños empresarios dedicados a la fabricación de calzado para damas, caballeros y niños (formal, informal y deportivo), por lo que se convierte en un producto de consumo masivo o industrial. El oligopolio que existe entre las empresas del ramo hace que el precio del producto sea aumentado indiscriminadamente, lo que nos crea la necesidad de introducir en el mercado un producto de excelente calidad, precio competitivo y a bajos costos; brindando una mejor alternativa a los empresarios con el fin de posicionar el producto al margen de la oferta y una demanda aceptable.
Capitulo I: Filosofía Institucional, Misión, Visión, valores, políticas y plan de trabajo.
Capitulo II: Hace referencia al producto y sus características, en este caso Lámina de Fibra para elaborar Punteras y Contrafuertes, con una demanda superior al 30% en el barrio Restrepo de la ciudad de Bogotá y una oferta actual del 60%, de los cuales “CONTRAPUNTE LTDA” tiene como objeto el cubrir el 5% al primer año de funcionamiento. Se determino el precio a partir de un telemercadeo a la competencia así como el nicho al cual se debe dirigir el producto, contiene además la matriz DOFA, evaluación de estrategias, administración de inventarios y tácticas de planeación agregada (Estudio de Mercados).
Capitulo III: Tiene como objetivo establecer el tamaño del proyecto el cual se determino en 10.000 láminas de fibra mensuales, a partir del histórico de ventas que actualmente tiene el Barrio Restrepo, la capacidad financiera de las gestoras y la meta establecida por ellas de producir 120.000 láminas al año. Después de realizar el estudio pertinente se decidió la localización de la empresa en la ciudad de Bogotá por lo metrópoli de esta. La micro localización está en la Localidad Antonio Nariño, mas exactamente en el Barrio Restrepo por presentar bajos costos en arriendos, servicios, facilidad de transporte, mano de obra y consecución de materias primas. Enmarca también las condiciones legales, de seguridad social y la jerarquización que demanda la conformación de la empresa “CONTRAPUNTE LTDA”. (Estudio Técnico).
Igualmente, en este capitulo se describe el proceso de producción de la fabricación de lámina de fibra para elaborar Punteras y Contrafuertes, que maquinaria y equipo se necesita para la puesta en marcha del proyecto, cuales son las materias primas utilizadas y cual es la distribución optima de la planta.
Capitulo IV: Trata del estudio financiero, el cual establece una inversión inicial de 73.874.370.00 para la adquisición de maquinaria, equipos, muebles, materia prima, mano de obra, servicios y gastos preoperativos. Además contiene la Evaluación financiera y económica del proyecto.
Capitulo V: Se refiere a la evaluación financiera y económica del proyecto, la cual establece una tasa de oportunidad del 15% y una tasa interna de retorno del 54.83%, con un punto de equilibrio de 55.850 unidades en el año; el análisis de sensibilidad de la variables precio, cantidad y costo; independiente a que aumente o disminuya el 8% sigue siendo atractivo el proyecto
Transsexualism in Spain: a Cultural and Legal Perspective
No full textIn this paper I will present an overview of the current legal, social and political situation of transsexual and transgendered people in Spain. The study is based on qualitative data gathered from in-depth interviews with transsexual people, transgendered activists and legal experts in Spain, including some aspects of a cross-cultural comparison between Spain and the UK. The empirical study accounts for the development of social policies related to sex-reassignment and their evolution in the last decade in Spain, as well as for transsexual associations and activism, issues of social exclusion and prostitution. The study on transsexuals consists of qualitative interviews with selected individuals of the transsexual community in Scotland and Catalonia about their life experiences. The analysis of the qualitative data explores the cultural assumptions underlying the legal aspects of sex-reassignment. Amongst other issues, the paper will deal with Spanish juridical procedures for documental reorientation and its potential role as incentive for undergoing sex-reassignment operation, and the performative character of transsexualism as a scientific category and folk gender myths in the shaping of gender. The cross-cultural comparison concerns scientific terminology, funding, cultural and legal aspects of sex-reassignment. The study reveals the performative character of scientific categories, the mobilisation of conflicting discourses in the negotiation of meaning, the circularity and self-referentiality of the terms used both in expert and folk discourse. Moreover, the cross-cultural comparison demonstrates the conventionality of transsexualism as a scientific category and some of the ways in which social institutions act to perpetuate the erasure of gender fluidity.Gender, Performativity, Sex-Reassignment, Social Policy, Transgenderism, Transsexuality, Spain
The fiction of reality: confinement and displacement, an introduction to research
No full textThis PHD project has been based on 100% studio practice; the original title for the research programme was Between Reality and Fiction and aimed at exploring the construction of reality and truth in our society, a society strictly controlled by the mass media. Whilst developing the first project within this body of research - Isolation (an attempt to contrast a real life experience of a visit to a prison with existing institutional information obtained through second and third hand sources - readings, media, films...), a range of other more pertinent concepts arose, causing a shift from those initial ideas to ones incorporating control, displacement and space, understanding this, not only as a physical entity, but also as a socio-political construction.Based on the different projects that form the basis of my research, I explored the concept of control and how that is exercised on individuals in free/democratic societies- from spatial control (access/no access), economical, cultural (oneself/others), medical/technological, or media control (the creation of public opinion). This research attempts to question/reflect public awareness of these control measures, in order to assess their limitations, whilst investigating any existing gaps in the system which could potentially subvert it.What has been particularly relevant has been the exploration of issues relating to space, understood not only as a physical entity, but also as a socio-political construction, how space is organised, divided and controlled in an era of globalisation, and whether, or why access to certain ‘spaces’ is either severely restricted or completely denied.Work developed during the PhD has consisted of: Practical studio research (mainly installations, video and photography), site specific visits/trips relevant to particular themes within the project (HMP Winchester, Strait of Gibraltar, Canary Islands, container depots, airports...); related readings; compilation of explicit news reportage; and the construction of an extensive archive that includes all printed and digital matter tracking the entire research process and its methodology. Personal experience has also been a main factor, influencing the development of specific research: temporary/precarious housing, part-time jobs, or in general, the situation of living abroad with all that that implies in the way of physical and cultural displacement
Fault detection and identification for control systems in floating offshore wind farms: A supervised Deep Learning methodology
No full textPublisher Copyright: © 2024 The Author(s)This study employs a data-driven Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI) methodology in Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) farms. The main objective of the work lies in classifying faults impacting the components of the control subsystems across multiple turbines. Unlike existing research, the emphasis here is placed specifically on identifying and classifying non-critical faults, which may result in suboptimal farm performance without necessitating a shutdown. From a methodological perspective, a Deep Neural Network has been designed to solve the classification problem by providing a probability vector, the most probable class indicator of the true state. One of the major contributions of this work lies in its applicability to FOWT farms instead of being confined to individual devices, facilitating a comprehensive performance assessment at the global farm level. The integration of this data-driven methodology with tolerant control strategies might enable early intervention, mitigating the impact of these faults and enhancing overall power generation efficiency. The target case study is a three-FOWT farm modeled in a Simulink environment, allowing for the simulation of operational behavior under diverse conditions and various faults affecting sensors and actuators. This work considers ten distinct fault classes, including the healthy condition, and three possible faults for each FOWT: pitch angle sensor, pitch angle actuator, and generator speed sensor. These frequent faults pose challenges to the optimal functioning of the control system managing the FOWTs. The outcomes highlight that the estimated probability of the healthy state serves as a robust indicator for detecting unknown faults. Results also demonstrate the adequate efficacy of the method in pinpointing the fault origin. However, we observe confusion between pitch sensor and actuator faults that require further investigation for comprehensive understanding.Peer reviewe

In this paper we generalize this result by quantifying Pfitzner's theorem. Moreover, we prove that in dual Banach spaces a quantitative version of the property (V) implies a quantitative version of the Grothendieck property

No full textFiguras, TablasEl trabajo académico titulado "El Diseño como Estrategia de Reterritorialización para el Fortalecimiento del Sentido de Identidad Social del Territorio a través de Narrativas Transmedia: Proyecto "Pintaramanga" en el Barrio Los Colorados, Bucaramanga, Santander" es una tesis de investigación-creación que presenta el estudio de caso del proyecto "Pintaramanga", una iniciativa interinstitucional que buscó mejorar las condiciones de vida de los habitantes de la zona norte de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, Colombia, a través de talleres de sensibilización y creación colectiva, intervenciones artísticas y una estrategia transmedia que articuló todos los componentes del proyecto. El objetivo del estudio fue fortalecer el sentido de identidad social de la comunidad del barrio Los Colorados a través del diseño como estrategia de reterritorialización por medio de narrativas transmedia. El estudio se realizó desde la perspectiva de la investigación-creación, utilizando métodos y técnicas de co-creación, análisis de contenido y revisión sistemática. El estudio se basó en un enfoque post-paradigmático que no buscaba comprender el problema del territorio, sino transformar las situaciones existentes a través de una práctica disciplinar creativa. El proyecto se desarrolló a través de un estudio de caso con la comunidad del barrio Los Colorados. Los resultados del estudio evidenciaron las estrategias implementadas en el marco de una creación estructurada como práctica orientada a restaurar la percepción de la calidad de vida, utilizando métodos de las artes y el diseño. También se llevó a cabo la hibridación de técnicas de artes y diseño con ciencias sociales, para permitir no sólo evidenciar el conocimiento tácito a partir de experiencias sensibles, sino que éstas pudieran complementarse con el conocimiento explícito a partir de los resultados obtenidos de los instrumentos aplicados en el grupo focal y la caracterización de la comunidad. El estudio concluyó que la estrategia transmedia desarrollada en el proyecto, se constituyó en un artefacto de diseño y en un artefacto mediador, que permitió indagar su desempeño en la articulación de procesos de creación colectiva y su impacto en los imaginarios sociales, la reterritorialización y la percepción de calidad de vida.The academic work entitled "Design as a Reterritorialization Strategy for Strengthening the Sense of Social Identity of the Territory through Transmedia Narratives: "Pintaramanga" Project in the Los Colorados Neighborhood, Bucaramanga, Santander" is a research-creation thesis that presents the case study of the "Pintaramanga" project, an inter-institutional initiative that sought to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the northern area of the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia, through awareness-raising and collective creation workshops, artistic interventions and a strategy transmedia that articulated all the components of the project. The objective of the study was to strengthen the sense of social identity of the Los Colorados neighborhood community through design as a reterritorialization strategy through transmedia narratives. The study was carried out from the perspective of research-creation, using methods and techniques of co-creation, content analysis and systematic review. The study was based on a post-paradigmatic approach that did not seek to understand the problem of territory, but rather to transform existing situations through creative disciplinary practice. The project was developed through a case study with the community of the Los Colorados neighborhood. The results of the study showed the strategies implemented within the framework of a structured creation as a practice aimed at restoring the perception of quality of life, using methods of arts and design. The hybridization of arts and design techniques with social sciences was also carried out, to allow not only to demonstrate tacit knowledge from sensitive experiences, but also to allow these to be complemented with explicit knowledge from the results obtained from the applied instruments. in the focus group and the characterization of the community. Muñecas que hablan. Ética y estética de los modelos de belleza en publicidad y moda
No full textOn the basis of qualitative empirical data gathered by means of semi-structured interviews with former fashion models, secondary oral sources and autoethnographical data, in this paper I analyze the embodiment and representation of beauty ideals as the result of bodily and emotional work carried out by fashion models. Given that models supposedly embody the aesthetic and identitary ideals proposed by media and advertising, they constitute key informants to explore bodily and identity performances in agreement with hegemonic aesthetic patterns, as well as to analyse the construction of such ideals. Models’ bodily work illustrate more general processes carried out to adjust to gender presentation norms, and testify to the performance that sustains beauty representation in media. Their experiences reveal their own strategies to adapt to and, at the same time, resist objectification, their diferente degrees of bodily self-identification according to gender, and their critical vision on the ethics of image production. The role of silence in the performance of beauty - a technique to empty models of the personality in order to facilitate the projection of desire sustaining the construction of glamour - is broken in this anthropological incursion to fashion’s backstage.Partiendo de datos empíricos cualitativos recogidos en entrevistas con ex-modelos de moda, fuentes orales secundarias y material autoetnográfico, se analiza el proceso de incorporación y representación del ideal de belleza como fruto de un trabajo corporal y emocional de las y los modelos. Dado que este colectivo profesional supuestamente incorpora los ideales estéticos e identitarios propuestos por los medios de comunicación y la publicidad, son informantes clave para explorar las actuaciones corporales identitarias de acuerdo con los patrones estéticos hegemónicos, así como para analizar la construcción de dichos ideales. El estudio del trabajo corporal de los modelos muestra sus estrategias de adecuación a las normas de presentación de género, así como la actuación que sostiene la representación de la belleza en los medios de comunicación impresos y audiovisuales. Sus testimonios ponen de relieve sus propias estrategias de adecuación y resistencia a la objetificación, los diferentes grados de autoidentificación corporal según el género, y una visión crítica de las cuestiones éticas relativas a la producción de imagenes.
