Since then, many masterpieces of sacred and religious music were created in Protestantism in Germany, in particular by Johann Sebastian Bach. Over the last few decades, scholars have been putting forward religious and theological interpretations of Bach’s works, not only the religious but also the purely instrumental ones – even those which were long considered lay. No full textFlis by Sebastian Fabian Klonowic is the first composition in the history of Polish literature which is a poetic Polish-written description of the journey made by the author (by the Vistula, from Warsaw to Gdańsk). In the 19th century, when Klonowic was highly valued, seven different editions of Flis were published in Gdańsk, Cracow, Warsaw, Leipzig, Chełmno and Lvov. The article presents the circles and individuals responsible for those editions (Krzysztof Celestyn Mrongowiusz, Józef Czech, Włodzimierz Drucki-Lubecki, Jan Nepomucen Bobrowicz, Kazimierz Józef Turowski, Stanisław Węclewski, Adam Dominik Bartoszewicz and Mikołaj Biernacki) and their intentions, analyzes the structure of the editions, as well as their ideological and editorial principles.Flis Sebastiana Fabiana Klonowica to pierwszy utwór w historii literatury polskiej, który stanowi poetycki polskojęzyczny opis podróży odbytej przez autora (Wisłą z Warszawy do Gdańska). No full textThis article discusses the film Vuelve Sebastiana (1953) by Jorge Ruiz, focusing on its ideological and aesthetic aspects. The analysis establishes connections between the idea of “nation” in the context of cultural transformation prompted by the economic and social policies of the National Revolution of 1952 and the way the Chipaya community is represented. The central argument is that "Vuelve Sebastiana" can be read not only in relation to the new national identity but as an expression of a new national imaginary regarding the indigenous communities of the Altiplano. The author proposes that "Vuelve Sebastiana" represents the nation through the temporal and spatial cartographies of a modern nation-building project, making visible some of its tensions and contradictions and allowing us to explore the imaginary that has redefined the relationship between the State and the indigenous communities of the Altiplano throughout the second half of the 20th century.Este artículo analiza el film Vuelve Sebastiana (1953) de Jorge Ruiz, centrándose en sus dimensiones estéticas e ideológicas. El propósito del análisis es poner en diálogo la idea de “nación” propuesta por el film en el marco de las transformaciones culturales que vinieron de la mano de las políticas económicas y sociales impulsadas por la Revolución Nacional de 1952, y la forma en que la comunidad chipaya es representada. La hipótesis central del artículo establece que el film de Ruiz debe ser entendido no sólo como expresión de la nueva identidad nacional que empieza a articularse bajo el proyecto revolucionario, sino sobre todo como expresión de un nuevo imaginario nacional que empieza a configurarse en relación con las comunidades indígenas del altiplano. El artículo sostiene que la representación de la nación, con base en las nuevas cartografías espacio temporales del proyecto modernizador revolucionario, visibiliza las tensiones y contradicciones de este proyecto y el lugar que en el nuevo imaginario nacional ocupan las comunidades indígenas. En este sentido, Vuelve Sebastiana permite leer, desde estos desencuentros, la reconfiguración del imaginario que ha redefinido las relaciones entre el Estado y las comunidades indígenas del altiplano a lo largo de la segunda mitad del siglo XX

Get PDFThe article discusses the beginnings of the public activity of Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski (1616-1667), a son of the Cracow voivode Stanisław Lubomirski. Using abundant archival material, the author poses the question of whether the early years of Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski’s political activity influenced his later attitude as a rebel, and raises several other issues. As a young man, J.S. Lubomirski, following the example of many young magnates, took an educational trip around Europe which he continued for several years. J.S. Lubomirski’s public activities began with his position as Speaker of the Proszowice sejmik and then his election to both Sejms in 1637. In his parliamentary activities at the Sejm in 1637, 1638, 1639, 1640, 1643, 1646 and 1647, he usually balanced between the stance of an oppositionist carrying out his father’s plans as the leader of the Lesser Poland nobility and a moderately neutral politician when he became Speaker of the Sejm in 1643. The collected sources indicate that Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski turned out to be the most talented of Stanisław Lubomirski’s sons, clearly distancing his older brother Aleksander Michał and the younger Konstanty Jacek in terms of leadership skills and popularity among the nobility. After his father’s death in 1649, it was Jerzy Sebastian who became the head of the powerful Lubomirski family.Artykuł omawia początki działalności publicznej Jerzego Sebastiana Lubomirskiego (1616–1667), jednego z synów wojewody krakowskiego Stanisława Lubomirskiego. Wykorzystując bogaty materiał archiwalny, autor, wśród wielu innych kwestii, stawia pytanie o to, czy początkowe lata działalności politycznej Jerzego Sebastiana Lubomirskiego wywarły wpływ na jego późniejszą postawę rokoszanina. W młodości J.S. Lubomirski wzorem wielu młodych magnatów odbył kilkuletnią podróż edukacyjną po Europie. Działalność publiczną J.S. Lubomirski rozpoczął od funkcji marszałka sejmiku w Proszowicach, a następnie wyboru na oba sejmy w 1637 r. W działalności poselskiej na sejmach w latach 1637, 1638, 1639, 1640, 1643, 1646 i 1647 zazwyczaj balansował między postawą opozycjonisty realizującego plany ojca jako lidera szlachty małopolskiej a polityka umiarkowanie neutralnego, gdy w 1643 r. został marszałkiem sejmu. Zgromadzony materiał źródłowy wskazuje, że Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski okazał się najzdolniejszym spośród synów Stanisława Lubomirskiego, wyraźnie dystansując pod względem zdolności przywódczych i popularności wśród szlachty starszego brata Aleksandra Michała i młodszego Konstantego Jacka. Structural properties of the linkers connecting the n- and c- terminal domains in the mocr bacterial transcriptional regulators
Get PDFPeptide inter-domain linkers are peptide segments covalently linking two adjacent domains within a protein. Linkers play a variety of structural and functional roles in naturally occurring proteins. In this work we analyze the sequence properties of the predicted linker regions of the bacterial transcriptional regulators belonging to the recently discovered MocR subfamily of the GntR regulators. Analyses were carried out on the MocR sequences taken from the phyla Actinobacteria, Firmicutes, Alpha-, Beta- and Gammaproteobacteria. The results suggest that MocR linkers display phylum-specific characteristics and unique features different from those already described for other classes of inter-domain linkers. They show an average length significantly higher: 31.8 ± 14.3 residues reaching a maximum of about 150 residues. Compositional propensities displayed general and phylum-specific trends. Pro is dominating in all linkers. Dyad propensity analysis indicate Pro–Pro as the most frequent amino acid pair in all linkers. Physicochemical properties of the linker regions were assessed using amino acid indices relative to different features: in general, MocR linkers are flexible, hydrophilic and display propensity for β-turn or coil conformations. Linker sequences are hypervariable: only similarities between MocR linkers from organisms related at the level of species or genus could be found with sequence searches. The results shed light on the properties of the linker regions of the new MocR subfamily of bacterial regulators and may provide knowledge-based rules for designing artificial linkers with desired properties. © 2016 The Author(s

Because a variety of dishes provided by Warung Sejahtera contain pork. In the recording of the food menu carried out by the warung sejahtera still uses a manual method. So to realize consumer satisfaction in ordering food, a websitebased menu ordering UI / UX design was made. In making UI/UX design, researchers use the Figma application. This article introduces Ścibor-Rylski as a highly versatile author, as exemplified by three scripts he wrote: Wczasy pod lipą [Lime Tree Holiday], Zaułek św. Sebastiana [Saint Sebastian Alley] and Stara baśń [An Ancient Tale]. Each of these scripts was written in a different convention and each was ordered by a different director, hence the title of this article – Aleksander Ścibor-Rylski in tandem with Kawalerowicz, Kutz and Hoffman. sampah pada kecamatan Sabbang berbasis website. Masalah yang sering terjadi pada
proses pembelajaran pengolahan sampah adalah metode atau pola pemberian materi
pengolahan sampah organik dan anorganik yang sering kali proses penyerapan materi
kurang maksimal diserap oleh masyarakat. Hal ini dipicu karena pola atau metode yang
kurang menarik. Untuk mempermudah proses pembelajaran pengolahan sampah dan
memaksimalkan materi pengelolaan sampah, maka dipandang perlu untuk membuat
sebuah metode pembelajaran pengolahan sampah yang baru yaitu dengan menggunakan
media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi macromedia
flash. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran pengolaan
sampah yang interaktif dalam menyampaikan materi tentang cara pengolaan sampah
yang baik dan benar kepada masyarakat. Metode pengujian yang digunakan untuk
menguji kesalahan pada perancangan media pembelajaran pengelolaan sampah adalah
metode pengujian black box. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan dapat
disimpulkan bahwa perancangan media pembelajaran pengelolahan sampah pada
Kecamatan Sabbang berbasis website layak untuk digunakan karena semua hasil
pengujian dapat diterima.
