This study is about designing fruit picker tool. The research was underway
to design, build and test melinjo fruit picker tool in its plants. The parameters
measured were the capacity of the tool, the percentage of defects, and economic
analysis. The research was conducted in Tridharma, A. H. Nasution and Bunga
Mawar Roads on the road from February to August 2012.
The results showed that the effective tool capacity was 12.22 kg / hour.
Percentage of defect was 4.6%. The economic analysis was Rp 427.58 / kg, the

No full textMawlid Nabi is the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which is held every 12 Rabi'ul Awal. By some people, the birthday of the prophet is commemorated as a review of the memory of the birth as well as the struggle of the Prophet Muhammad in spreading the da'wah of Islam throughout his life. There are many ways that people do in commemorating the birthday of the prophet and each region has its own way. The Kemuja village community is one of them. The celebration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the village of Kemuja embeds various series of activities with Islamic nuances, such as cultural festivals, barzanji readings, nganggung, and closed with a gathering to eat together. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of local wisdom contained in the implementation of the tradition of celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the village of Kemuja. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The techniques used in obtaining this data are observation, interviews, and literature study. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative by describing, analyzing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found the values of local wisdom and social strata inherent in the tradition of celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad in Kemuja village. The value of wisdom for peace and the value of wisdom for prosperity. Social strata are not a problem for most Kemuja villagers regarding the implementation of the prophet's birthday celebration. This is evidenced by the implementation of celebrations that take place lively, lively, and magnificently from year to year, so that this can be transformed as empowerment to form a fortress of prosperity and peace in society.
Keywords: The value of local wisdom, social strata, traditions, the Prophet's mawlid.Maulid nabi merupakan peringatan kelahiran baginda Rasul Muhammad SAW yang diadakan setiap tanggal 12 rabi’ul awal. Oleh sebagian masyarakat, maulid nabi diperingati sebagai ulasan memori kelahiran sekaligus perjuangan Nabi Muhammad dalam menebarkan dakwah Islam sepanjang hidupnya. Ada banyak cara yang di lakukan masyarakat dalam memperingati maulid nabi dan setiap daerah mempunyai caranya masing-masing. Masyarakat desa Kemuja adalah salah satunya. Perayaan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW di desa Kemuja menyematkan berbagai rangkaian kegiatan yang bernuansa islami, seperti festival budaya, pembacaan barzanji, nganggung, dan ditutup dengan silaturahmi makan bersama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat dalam pelaksanaan tradisi perayaan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW di desa Kemuja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam memperoleh data ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, menginterpretasi, dan menarik simpulan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan strata sosial yang melekat dalam tradisi perayaan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW di desa Kemuja. Nilai kearifan untuk kedamaian dan nilai kearifan untuk kesejahteraan. Strata sosial bukan menjadi sebuah problema oleh sebagian besar masyarakat desa Kemuja terhadap pelaksanaan perayaan maulid nabi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pelaksanaan perayaan yang berlangsung ramai, meriah, dan megah dari tahun ke tahun, sehingga hal demikian dapat ditransformasikan sebagai pemberdayaan untuk membentuk benteng kesejahteraan dan kedamaian di masyarakat.

No full textThis is a recording of two men, Saipul Bahri and Mahrozi. Saipul Bahri, called Epol, is a 42 year old fisherman who was born and raised in Pondo Perasi. He finished elementary school and is married to a woman from Tanjung Karang, Ampenan. He spends one month every year staying in North Lombok for fishing. Mahrozi is 31 years old, born and grew up in Pondok Prasi, married to a woman from Cakra, a subdistrict of Mataram municipility. He finished middle school. The conversation revolves around Epol sharing his experience on fishing during the period when machines have not been available. He narrates the challenges fishermen were facing. The oconversation ends with Khairunnisa collecting metadata from the speakers. Muhammad Jaelani assisted with the recording. There have been many soybean extractor in the market, that have been
developed by home industry or university student. One of the soybean extractor
was made by Winanda Pardhanu in Agriculture Engineering Program Study,
University of North Sumatera. The capacity of soy bean extractor can be
improved by testing their parts. This research was about testing pulley diameter
of soybean extractor to improve its capacity. This research had been conducted at
Agricultural Engineering Laboratory, Agricultural Faculty USU on June – August
2015 using factorial randomized block design with pulley diameters of 3, 4 and 5
inches. The observed parameter in this research was effective capacity of
equipment, yield and percentage of materials left in appliance. The results showed
that pulley diameter had highly significant effect on parcentage of process
capacity and yield and had no effect on percentage of materials left in appliance.
From this research it, can be concluded that the best pulley diameters was 3

Integrasi Akal dan Wahyu dalam Penafsiran Al-Qur’an Menurut Muhammad Al-Ghazali
No full textThis article discusses the thought of Muhammad al-Ghazali, a significant figure in the interpretation of the Qur'an, focusing on the mauḍūʿī interpretation method he developed. The research question posed is: What are the principles in the maudhui interpretation method applied by al-Ghazali, and how is it implemented in understanding Qur'anic texts? To answer this question, the study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach that includes analyzing relevant literature. The findings of the research indicate that al-Ghazali emphasizes the balance between reason (al-‘aql) and revelation (al-naql) in interpreting the Qur'an while integrating social and cultural contexts into his tafsir. Additionally, this article reveals that the maudhui interpretation method introduced by al-Ghazali serves not only as a means of understanding the Qur'an but also as a tool to bridge Islamic thought with societal realities. This research is expected to provide new insights into Muhammad al-Ghazali's contributions to the development of tafsir science and its relevance in contemporary contexts.
Abstrak: Artikel ini merupakan hasil telaahan kepustakaan (library research) tentang integrasi akal dan wahyu dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an menurut Muhammad al-Ghazali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan metode dan pendekatan penafsiran yang relevan dengan tantangan kontemporer dalam pandangan Muhammad al-Ghazali. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan data berupa pernyataan verbal dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, artikel jurnal, dan karya tulis lainnya. Ditinjau dari segi jenisnya, telaahan dimaksud tergolong sebagai penelitian kualitatif karena berhadapan dengan data berupa pernyataan verbal dari sejumlah literatur, baik berupa buku, artikel jurnal dan karya tulis lainnya. Data yang ditemukan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik interpretasi dan holistik guna memperoleh jawaban dari pertanyaan di atas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, Muhammad al-Ghazali merupakan seorang tokoh penting dalam aktivitas pendidikan dan dakwah. Dalam rangkaian aktivitas tersebut, ia mengamati kondisi umat Islam dewasa ini membutuhkan penafsirann Al-Qur’an yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Atas dasar itu ia menawarkan metode tafsir mauḍūʿī dan memilih pendekatan penafsiran yang mengintegrasikan akal dan wahyu, yang bertujuan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif dan aplikatif terhadap Al-Qur’an. Metode ini memadukan pemikiran rasional dengan petunjuk ilahi untuk menjawab kebutuhan umat Islam dalam menghadapi realitas modern secara efektif

Organic waste grater begins popular in society, either used for compost
making or livestock feed. The machine was invented based on society concern for
environmental issue. One of the grater was designed by Doni Apriano Purba in
Agricultural Engineering Study Program, University of North Sumatra. It can be
improved by testing some part of it. This research was about testing some
variation of pulley diameter on organic waste grater to improve its capacity. This
research had been conducted at Agricultural Engineering Laboratory
Agricultural Faculty University of North Sumatra on March- April 2016 using
factorial randomized block design withpulley diameters of 7, 8, and 9 inches.The
observed parameters in this research were yield, percentage of materials left in
appliance, and effective capacity of equipment.The results showed that pulley
diameter had highly significant effect on percentage of process capacity, and had
no effecton yield and percentage of materials left in appliance.From this research,
