Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textIndonesia as a developing country is one of the contributors to the increasing incidence of Overweight adolescents. The form of activities such as providing counseling and training on early detection of overweight and providing short workshops on making healthy snacks to prevent obesity (Banana Bud) is one of the efforts to prevent obesity in adolescents. The purpose of this community service is to increase adolescent knowledge about overweight prevention, improve adolescent skills in early detection of overweight and in selecting and making snacks to prevent overweight.
This type of community service is providing counseling and training on early detection of overweight as well as providing a short workshop on making healthy snacks to prevent overweight (Banana bud) at Karuna Dipa junior high school in Palu City.
Knowledge assessment results show that an increase in the average knowledge score was 2.9 points (14.5%). For the skill of determining BMI, students achieved the ability of 72% which was assessed from their ability to calculate BMI using discs or using a calculator, while for the determination of overweight, students\u27 abilities reached 83% which was assessed from their ability to use discs to detect overweight.
The conclusion of community service is that there is an increase in knowledge, skills for determining BMI using discs and calculators, and knowledge of making healthy snacks to prevent overweigh
Sintesis Fenetil (O-asetil-p-kumaroil) dari Asam p-kumarat melalui Asetilasi, Klorinasi dan Esterifikasi dengan Fenetilalkohol
Get PDFSynthesis of phenethyl (O-acetyl-p-coumaroyl) (4) from p-coumaric acid (1) using phenethylalcohol was succesfully conducted via acetylation (2), chlorination (3), and esterification (4). The acetylation was performed using acetic anhydride in pyridine at room temperature for 6 hours, the chlorination was performed using thionyl chloride in dry benzene by reflux at 75oC for 4 hours, continued with esterification by in situ using phenethylalcohol in dry dichloromethane at room temperature for 4 hours. The structure of each step reaction product was identiï¬ed using FT-IR spectroscopy. The compound 2 was obtained as yellowish crystal with m.p 201-203oC and the compound 4 was obtained as white crystal with m.p 68-69oC.

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Nutritional Contribution of Awaous sp Small Indigeneous Fish Powder Important for the First 1000 Days of Life
Get PDFResearch facts prove that small-sized fish are essential nutrition during the first 1000 days of life. Central Sulawesi Province has an endemic small-sized marine fish species locally known as duo or penja fish (Awaous sp), which has not been studied for its bio-mineral content. This study aimed to analyze the moisture, ash, protein, calcium, iron, and zinc content in Awaous sp protein flour. This research was a descriptive laboratory study conducted at the Ilmu Bahan Makanan Laboratory Department of Nutrition Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu and PT. Saraswanti Indo Genetech Laboratory, Bogor, West Java, from January to September 2023. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, which involved purchasing fish from the local market in Palu city. Awaous sp protein flour had a moisture, ash, protein, Ca, Fe, and Zn content of 3.89%, 9.71%, 73.53%, 2316.88 mg/100g, 24.54 mg/100g, and 8.97 mg/100g, respectively. The contribution per serving of 145 grams of Awaous sp fish flour met the nutritional requirements (Recommended Dietary Allowances - RDA) for protein, Ca, Fe, and Zn per person per day for infants aged 6-11 months, children aged 1-3 years, pregnant women, and lactating women. Awaous sp protein flour had higher protein and Fe content compared to other small fish and had the potential to meet RDA requirements. Therefore, consuming Awaous sp protein flour as part of the daily diet can be a suitable strategy to address nutritional deficiencies during the first 1000 days of life for residents in Central Sulawesi
Penyusutan Kalium Iodat dalam Garam Beryodium Selama Penyimpanan Suhu Rendah: Reduction of Potassium Iodat in Iodized Salt at low Temperature
Get PDFThe contribution of iodine from food is thought to depend largely on the consumption of iodized salt. Potassium iodate (KIO3) is often used as a source of iodine in iodized salt, but experimental data on the stability of potassium iodate at low temperature storage are still very limited. This study aims to determine the effect of KIO3 conditions of iodized salt stored at low temperatures (0oC, 5oC, 13oC, 15oC, and a temperature range of 29-33oC). This research is a descriptive type, which aims to determine the KIO3 content of iodized salt at low temperature storage using salt samples purchased from modern markets. The results obtained indicate that the storage at low temperatures of iodized salt resulted in a decrease in KIO3 levels. The loss of KIO3 in iodized salt tends to increase the lower the temperature. Depreciation of KIO3 content in iodized salt at low temperature storage, namely: 0oC (17.4%), 5oC (7.3%), 13oC (6.8%), 15oC (2.4%) and a temperature range of 29-33oC ( 2.3%). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the KIO3 content in iodized salt can experience shrinkage at low temperature storage
